Judge Jeanine Pirro: The US Is No Longer Respected Or Feared (Video)

On Saturday night’s Justice With Jeanine, the good Judge began her opening statement with scissors in hand. She was working on a paper cut-out of a paper tiger to signify the United States’ weak stature under Obama.

“There was a time when the United States was both respected and feared”, she said, “today however in the eyes of the world, we are neither respected nor feared. And it’s Obama’s feckless foreign policy that’s diminished our stature on the world stage. That policy mimics a paper tiger,” she explained. “Seemingly dangerous, but in truth, timid and weak.”

(Oh yeah? Tell that to Osama Bin Laden!, the left cries in unison at such arguments.

Yeah, I hate to break it to you drones, but Obama had to be dragged kicking and screaming into that decision. The gutsy call was really a putzy stall. )

“Every time there’s an issue, we roar”, Pirro continued, “and then turn tail and run.” (Unless you’re poor and helpless Honduras and you just kicked out a Chavez-like, communist, wannabe dictator – then there’s a roar, aggressive bullying and removal of aid.)

Pirro compared all Obama’s big talk and promises with the actual results.

His deceptive buffoonery would be funny if there wasn’t a plurality of Americans who actually believe him, and his lies weren’t so damn detrimental to the country.

Pirro sounding like me, here: “Mr President, when you talked about the most transparent administration in history, I guess you really meant that most transparent would be our phone calls and our records – terrorists, of course, excluded.”

If she’s like me – she’s not kidding. That’s the country we live in today and it’s pretty friggin scary.:

Former CIA Spook: John Brennan A “Bully Of The Highest Order”

brennan

CIA Director and Obama loyalist John Brennan is reportedly a closet Muslim who according to a former FBI counterterrorism agent  John Guandolo, converted to Islam while serving in an official capacity on the behalf of the U.S. in Saudi Arabia. In 2011, he called for the FBI to eliminate its “offensive” curriculum/training materials which made reference to “jihad” and “radical Islam” and in the wake of the Benghazi attack, was involved in crafting the phony talking points that then-Secretary of State Susan Rice gave regarding  attack against. It was the vote on Brennan’s nomination to CIA Director  that Rand Paul filibustered back in March (over the Regime’s drone policies,)

Now, in the wake of CNN’s bombshell report revealing that the CIA is using polygraph tests and hiding witnesses to keep Benghazi secrets from leaking out, comes this report via the Blaze:

Michael Scheuer, who headed the CIA’s Osama bin Laden unit in the 1990s, said Saturday on Fox News that the new allegations are about “intimidation” and “persecution.”

“The people who risked their lives on the ground in Libya…are now being intimidated that their careers will be ruined or they will be fired if they happen to say what was going on on the ground at the time,” Scheuer said. “I’ve known John Brennan and he’s the director there and he’s a bully of the first order. He will never say anything negative or question anyone above him, but for the people below him he is a bully of epic dimensions.”

Scheuer accused Brennan of having been “involved in efforts to prevent the destruction of Al-Qaeda” and “denying us the intelligence from renditions and interrogations.” He also charged Brennan is “serving a master who has no concern for American security.”

Sen. Ted Cruz on How to Defeat Obamacare:

In New Orleans to speak at the RedState Gathering Friday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) says it’s going to take regular Americans rather than the Beltway elite to beat back Obamacare through the use of a continuing resolution which would exclude the health care restructuring plan from the federal budget.

“If the path is convincing Washington to defund Obamacare,” says Cruz, “there is no way to get it done.”

Cruz says there are two circumstances weighing in favor of a successful effort. First, that “the wheels are coming off” the president’s plan; Cruz notes that there is a growing bipartisan consensus that Obamacare isn’t going to work and cites Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT) calling it a “train wreck” and the National Treasury Employees’ Union begging to be let out of its implementation as example of that concensus.

Second, he says, is the rise of the grassroots activist as a force in American politics.

“There is a tectonic shift happening,” Cruz says, noting that it was grassroots support from conservative activists in Texas which propelled him from two percent in initial polls in last year’s GOP Senate primary in Texas into first a runoff with establishment favorite Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst and then to a 14-point primary win on the way to an easy general election victory. “The way Washington likes to make decisions is behind closed doors, with the elites deciding what’s good for everybody
else.

“But we’ve seen one way to defeat that is a tsunami of activity. Get overwhelming numbers of people involved, make the phones ring in Congressional offices and the Washington way collapses.”

Cruz says it isn’t easy, but when constituents speak in large numbers to Senators and Congressmen, they do listen.

And because he’s seen the power of the grassroots work, Cruz can confidently take a meat axe to Washington conventional wisdom which says that if there is to be a shutdown it would be a disaster for the GOP.

The Conversation: Issa Subpoenas Treasury for IRS Targeting Docs After Sharp Exchange With Werfel (Video)

Today, following a sharp exchange with Acting IRS Commissioner Danny Werfel, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa issued a subpoena to Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew demanding more documents.

Via The Washington Examiner:

The California Republican accused the IRS of dragging its feet in response to committee requests for documents related to the panel’s investigation into the targeting of Tea Party and other conservative groups for special scrutiny — a charge Werfel denied.

During an Oversight subcommittee hearing, an agitated Issa said the IRS is “slow-rolling us.” “That’s not true,” Werfel countered. But Issa persisted, telling Werfel he was now going over his head and asking Treasury Secretary Jack Lew to respond to his requests.

“I’ve asked you for information; you’re not forthcoming,” Issa told Werfel. “The office of chief counsel, a politically appointed office, has been compromised.”

Federal officials testified about the U.S. Park Police’s missing weapons at a congressional hearing Friday morning.

Via The Washington Post:

The hearing stems from a report released by the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Office of the Inspector General last month, where the Park Police were found to have lost track of thousands of handguns, rifles and machine guns.

The 2013 review began in part when an anonymous tipster said Park Police officers were improperly taking weapons home. Two such instances were discovered, along with many other instances of mismanagement, according to the report.
