Report: Obama Brags About Killing People With Drones

According to journalists Mark Halperin and John Heilemann in their new book,  Obama’s closest advisers secretly considered replacing  Joe Biden with Hillary Clinton on the 2012 ticket, but they concluded that Hilary wouldn’t boost Obama’s reelection chances.  While that revelation from the book that chronicles the 2012 presidential election, has gotten the most attention, thus far,  another story that is slowly hitting the news, should seriously creep people out.  Obama reportedly told his aides that he’s “really good at killing people” while discussing drone strikes.

Michael Kelly at Business Insider reported on the expansion of anti-terrorist drone strikes under Obama.

Obama oversaw the 2009 surge in Afghanistan, 145 Predator drone strikes in NATO’s 2011 Libya operations, the May 2011 raid that killed Osama bin Laden, and drone strikes that killed the Pakistani Taliban leader and a senior member of the Somali-based militant group al-Shabab this week.

His administration also expanded the drone war: There have been 326 drone strikes in Pakistan, 93 in Yemen, and several in Somalia under Obama, compared to a total of 52 under George Bush.

In 2011 two of those strikes killed American-born al-Qaeda propagandist Anwar al-Awlaki and his American-born, 16-year-old son within two weeks.

Under Obama U.S. drone operators began practicing “signature strikes,” a tactic in which targets are chosen based on patterns of suspicious behavior and the identities of those to be killed aren’t necessarily known. (The administration counts all “military-age males” in a strike zone as combatants.)

Furthermore, the disturbing trend of the “double tap” — bombing the same place in quick succession and often hitting first responders — has become common practice.

Some of these strikes – especially the “double taps” should be considered war crimes. I’m ashamed that my country is engaging in something so evil.  Bombing the first responders? I thought only terrorists did that.

How could a sitting president be so bloodthirsty as to brag about “killing people”? Is this not disturbing?

Regular readers of Ulsterman’s “White House Insider series would already know about Obama’s unseemly and disturbing attraction to  watching drone kill videos. Ulsterman reported a year and a half ago that Obama “gets off on it.”

WHI:  It’s what has been brewin’ for well over a year now…it’s causing all kinds of hell between the administration…the military…infighting and concern among the staff…even Jarrett don’t have a handle on all of it.  Even she is not entirely comfortable with how the president has sunk his teeth into the drones…the kill list.  She’s not bothered by their use specifically…she’s more…I would guess she’s more worried over the political implications of Obama’s obsession…that eventually enough people will stand together and say ENOUGH.  She can’t afford to have that happen too soon…the re-election makes them all vulnerable…the plans…the obligations to others…America can still stop them in 2012 and she understands that.  So having Obama so oddly focused…not just focused…he gets excited…visually…the guy gets off on it and he ain’t even hiding that fact anymore.  And some are repulsed by it.  They’ve done video reviews you know…of  the missions.  The drones.  The kills.

UM:  The president you mean?  He watches videos of the drone attacks?

WHI:  Yeah – like it was…like it was porn.  I can’t emphasize…I don’t think I’m painting a clear enough picture here for you of how this thing has people really freaking out inside the administration.  It’s good on one hand because it’s got more of them willing to talk…but…the fact it’s gotten this bad…these drones…an American president who has the video sent up to his personal study so he can watch them over and over again…like I said – sh-t ain’t right.  And more and more people are figuring that out – and that is what has Jarrett concerned.  But even she…Obama won’t listen to her on this one.  Those drones are the one thing he really feels he has control over…all the rest…he’s been told what to say and where to go…when to wake…when to sleep…but the drones.  The drones are all his – and he ain’t given those up.  For nobody.

UM:  So Jarrett is against the use of drones?

WHI:  No-no-no…I ain’t said that.  Far from it.  The drones are all part of this…the big big picture here…what she’s concerned over is that her boy…the president…he’s gotta get it under control…his obsession with using them like he has.  The weekly meetings, the kill list…I mean c’mon now…he’s got his own personal kill list.  The guy who campaigned against Bush era interrogations…Obama don’t interrogate.  He picks a name off a list…some of these people have beenU.S. citizens…he picks that name off a list and orders the kill.  Then he gets the video confirmation of the kill…and he watches it.  Over and over and over again.

Jarrett knows she has got to tap that down.  That kind of display…it’s repulsive to people.  And it’s freaking them out.  Jarrett don’t mind the drones…she approves of the program…she approves of what…of how they will be utilized at home.  But if the president…if his reaction to using them…how he gets off on it…that endangers them having control of those drones after 2012…and beyond.  It’s a politically difficult – an extremely difficult argument to win.  A guy who complained loudly about water boarding – it don’t kill the poor bastard.  It makes ‘em talk.  Barack Obama declared that to be offensive to the ideals of America, right?  But now Barack Obama…he’s judge and jury.  With a pointing of a finger to names on a list…Barack Obama gets to play God.  No day in court.  No guarantee innocent people won’t be killed as well – and they have been killed.  Children.  Women.  Over and over again.  And this president…he has that knowledge when he watches the kill confirmations.  And he watches it over and over again.  These are high tech snuff films – a multi-billion dollar snuff program…and he gets off on it.

UM:  This is sickening.  What you’re telling me…this is disturbing on a whole other level.

Yep, Obama’s a Liar Alright

Type “Bush Liar” into Google and you get  “about 11,600,000 results in 0.50 seconds.” That’s a lot, but understandable given the Democrat Media Complex put its whole heart and soul into pushing the narrative that President Bush was a liar who “lied us into war” for six long years.

They’ve spent most of the last five years protecting Obama and circling the wagons every time a scandal erupted. But in only five years, without any help from the MSM, he’s managed to quadruple that score on Google:

Google “Obama liar” and you get “About 45,000,000 results (0.23 seconds) ”

Some other suggestions for Obama: obama pathological liar and  obama liar pants on fire

The top result was the Daily Caller’s: Scarborough: Obama a ‘deliberate,’ ‘flagrant’ liar:

Hewitt pointed how some left-leaning pundits have openly admitted Obama lied, to which Scarborough said they didn’t have much of a choice.

“What else can you do?” Scarborough replied. “You know, I asked everyone this morning — a lot of White House reporters this morning, what’s the White House’s spin? I asked Chuck Todd, what’s the White House’s spin? He said they don’t have one. It is such a deliberate — it was such a flagrant lie when you’re telling people they can keep their insurance policies if they want to. Now I had a lot of people, a lot of conservatives last night, tweeting, interrupting my Red Sox game, tweeting saying ‘why didn’t you guys report about this a couple of years ago?’”

“Well, I think we all knew this was the case, that the president and the administration was misleading the American people,” Scarborough continued. “What was new with Lisa Myers’ revelation was last night was it had three or four people that were actually working with the president who said the president knew at the time and let them know at the time that what he was saying was not the truth.”

2.  Mark Levin Bashes ‘Serial Liar’ Obama’s ‘Scare Tactics’ Over Gov’t …Mediaite

It’s rare to see conservative radio host Mark Levinmake a television appearance, and even rarer to do it on a network that isn’t Fox News, but nevertheless Levin appeared on CNN’s The Lead on Friday, reacting to President Obama‘s impromptu address on an impending government shutdown, telling Jake Tapper that the president’s a “serial liar” and bashing “French Republicans” selling out their own party.

3.  Articles: Barack Obama is a Liar – American Thinker”

A liar, however, is someone who lives and breathes the lie; someone who specializes in the art of artifice; someone to whom lying is his first recourse, not his last. Such a man is Barack Obama.

In four years, Obama has gone from “change you can believe in” to a man you simply cannot believe. And it’s not just Benghazi-gate, although that’s a good place to start. With the recently revealed emails showing that the White House was told a mere two hours after the attack that it was a terrorist act, no reasonable person can still conclude that the Obama administration was honest in its aftermath. And the claim that the violence was sparked by some anti-Islamic film wasn’t just a lie – it was a liar’s lie.

It was dumb.

It was obvious that it would eventually blow up in the administration’s face and make Benghazi into the scandal it has now become. But such things are only obvious to the intellect; at issue here are instincts.

4. NAPOLITANO: Is Obama a Dupe or a Totalitarian, Megalomaniacal Liar? Fox News

Merkel was raised in East Germany, and she has a personal revulsion at the concept of omnipresent state surveillance.

Obama apparently has no such revulsion. One would think he’s not happy that his own spies have been listening to him.

One would expect that he would have known of this.

Not from me, says Gen. Keith Alexander, the director of the NSA, who disputed claims in the media that he told Obama of the NSA spying network in Germany last summer.

Either the president knew of this and has denied it, or he is invincibly ignorant of the forces he has unleashed on us and on himself.

When Susan Rice, Obama’s national security advisor, was confronted with all of this by her German counterpart, she first told him the White House would deny it. Then she called him to say that the White House could not deny it, but the president would deny that he personally knew of it.

Alan Caruba of CFP writes of “Obama’s tsunami of lies” (he gets a Google response of 33,000,000 for Obama + Liar)

There are some well-known facts about compulsive and/or pathological liars and they all fit Obama. Compulsive lying is a type of obsessive disorder. Pathological liars are described as manipulative and cunning people who lie to achieve their goals without caring whether it hurts the feelings of others. Compulsive liars lie because it is their automatic response to any situation. They are often referred to as habitual or chronic liars.

I am not a psychologist or psychiatrist, so I will not pass judgment beyond what other observers have had to say regarding Obama. I do think, however, that there are some serious aspects to his behavior that must be addressed.

In the halls of Congress as elsewhere, a man’s word is his most valuable commodity. Where there is no trust, very little of the nation’s business can be conducted and Obama, Pelosi, and Reid, the Democratic leaders, have severely destroyed whatever trust might have been extended to them initially by their Republican counterparts. Indeed, Congress is noteworthy these days for having passed far fewer bills than previous ones.

To be brutally honest, I’m not sure this country can survive three more years of this.

Flashback to May 2008 when it first became obvious to me we were dealing with a a pathological liar of epic proportions and I started keeping tabs….

Debate: Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel vs. A Guy Who Isn’t An Obnoxious Know It All (Video)

Chris Wallace invited the infamous Obamacare architect Ezekiel “Death Panels” Emanuel and health insurance expert  James Capretta on Fox News Sunday to debate ObamaCare. In the past couple of weeks, Dr. Emanuel has come out of his cave to defend and promote the Frankenstein monster he had a hand in creating. For many people, including me, this has been the first time Dr. Emanuel has been seen on tape, and I think I know why he hasn’t been trotted out much before. He’s just not a very likable fellow. He’s a snotty elitist who wants you to think he has your best interests at heart. But really – he’s a collectivist whose objective is to engineer what he thinks is best for the collective – with no interest in individual rights.    Dr. Ezekial Emanuel should be the face of ObamaCare. He, more than Sebelius, Reid, Pelosi, and Obama represents what this law is all about….and that should scare us all.

As Betsy McCaughey wrote in the WSJ, August of 2009:

As a bioethicist, he has written extensively about who should get medical care, who should decide, and whose life is worth saving. Dr. Emanuel is part of a school of thought that redefines a physician’s duty, insisting that it includes working for the greater good of society instead of focusing only on a patient’s needs. Many physicians find that view dangerous, and most Americans are likely to agree.

The health bills being pushed through Congress put important decisions in the hands of presidential appointees like Dr. Emanuel. They will decide what insurance plans cover, how much leeway your doctor will have, and what seniors get under Medicare. Dr. Emanuel, brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, has already been appointed to two key positions: health-policy adviser at the Office of Management and Budget and a member of the Federal Council on Comparative Effectiveness Research. He clearly will play a role guiding the White House’s health initiative.

Dr. Emanuel says that health reform will not be pain free, and that the usual recommendations for cutting medical spending (often urged by the president) are mere window dressing. As he wrote in the Feb. 27, 2008, issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA): “Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality of care are merely ‘lipstick’ cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change.”

True reform, he argues, must include redefining doctors’ ethical obligations. In the June 18, 2008, issue of JAMA, Dr. Emanuel blames the Hippocratic Oath for the “overuse” of medical care: “Medical school education and post graduate education emphasize thoroughness,” he writes. “This culture is further reinforced by a unique understanding of professional obligations, specifically the Hippocratic Oath’s admonition to ‘use my power to help the sick to the best of my ability and judgment’ as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of cost or effect on others.”

As for health insurance expert  James Capretta – I’d never heard of him before, and he barely got a word in edgewise, because Emanuel (like most libs) likes to filibuster. But he won the debate hands down by virtue of the fact that he had the facts on his side. And Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel was Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel.

Hat tip: The Right Scoop

Latest excuses for Obama’s “you can keep your plan” whopper:

Truth Revolt: NYT: Obama ‘Misspoke’ When He Lied About Keeping Your Insurance:

During the push for Obamacare and President Obama’s subsequent re-election run, President Obama repeatedly promised the American people that if they liked their insurance plan, they would be able to keep it. But on Sunday, The New York Times editorial board announced that Obama hadn’t lied to the American people – he’d simply made a big mistake. “Mr. Obama clearly misspoke when he said that,” the Timessaid. “By law, insurers cannot continue to sell policies that don’t provide the minimum benefits and consumer protections required as of next year.”

Appearing on Piers Morgan’s CNN program on Tuesday night, HBO’s Bill Maher explained that while President Obama did indeed lie to the American people about keeping their insurance,he had to do so in order to help the dumb Americans. “I think the country in general is on a decline,” Maher explained. That’s because, Maher said, Americans are getting “stupider.” And that means that they must be lied to: “It sure is hard if you’re a politician—not that I’m really that sympathetic to them—to try to get information into people’s heads. I don’t think Obama should’ve lied to people…”

Twitchy: Dan Pfeiffer: ‘If you had your plan and it hasn’t been changed or canceled, you can keep it’:

Obama adviser Dan Pfeiffer went on “This Week” to tell America that if you like your health insurance you can keep it … but only if it is hasn’t been changed, downgraded, or canceled. If.

Let’s talk about [President Obama’s] promise for a second. If the president didn’t intend to keep this promise why would he have gone out of his way to put a provision in the law [that] specifically says that if you have a plan before Obamacare passed you can keep that plan? Now if your plan has been downgraded or canceled, you can’t.

…and 5% [Americans in the individual market], if you had your plan and it hasn’t been changed or canceled, you can keep it.

Meanwhile, in the “SHHH, You’re Not Helping” department, VAN JONES: OBAMA KNOWS EVERYTHING GOING ON IN WHITE HOUSE:

Former White House Green Czar on ABC’s “This Week”, Sunday morning, decided to update the very real Bush era BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome) where deranged libs couldn’t decide whether Bush was an evil genius or a dunce who let Cheney do all the thinking for him. The updated Van Jones version of this is “Obama derangement syndrome” with deranged conservatives unable to decide whether Obama is clueless about what goes on in his administration (because that’s what he keeps telling people when the shtf – “Der, I just read about this in the newspaper”, “Der, I’m as mad as anybody” etc.) or he’s a mastermind with his hands in everything. ( I’ve always contended that’s it’s the latter.) Very cute bit of projection there, and he should have left it at that, but noooo. Van Jones goes on to tell us if there one person in the White House who knows what’s going on, it’s Barack Obama. Thanks for the confirmation, Derp.

This weeks “Speaker Alert”:

  • “It’s the whole law”: “The problem with ObamaCare isn’t just the website,” says Speaker Boehner. “It’s the whole law.” Boehner says the president sold his health care law on “a pack of lofty promises,” but “what he said simply wasn’t true.”
  • “Whopper”: President Obama’s famous pledge – that if you like your doctor or your health care plan, you can keep it – has been deemed a “whopper.” See what Republicans were saying about this promise as long as four years ago.
  • “He really didn’t mean it”: Check out and RT our new “Vine,” highlighting a CBS Newsreport that says  “more than two million Americans have been told they cannot renew their current insurance policies…”
  • “System is down”: At the exact same time that Health & Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius was telling Congress the ObamaCare “website has never crashed,” the site was inaccessible.

Video: Bust Of Winston Churchill Dedicated in U.S. Capitol Ceremony

A bust of British prime minister Winston Churchill was unveiled at the US Capitol,  Wednesday, where it will be displayed in the rotunda, to honor “the best friend America ever had” and remind Americans of our special relationship with Great Britain.

Via Speaker Boehner’s website:

WASHINGTON, DC – This morning, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), Secretary of State John Kerry, and congressional leaders dedicated a bust of former British prime minister Winston Churchill in a ceremony at the U.S. Capitol.  Speaker Boehner – who sponsored the resolution authorizing the placement of the bust – presided over today’s event, which he opened with the following remarks, as prepared for delivery: “My colleagues, honored guests, members of the Churchill family, friends from The Churchill Centre, and fellow countrymen: “Winston Spencer Churchill was the best friend the United States ever had.  “By the time President Kennedy named him an honorary citizen in the spring of ’63, we already considered the man one of our own. “Growing up, he read our books, and revered Lincoln.  “He knew better than most Americans the trials of the Civil War. “Even wrote in our magazines, on everything from our hospitality to our food and our engines. “You could say he saw in America the very exceptionalism we enjoy today.   “Yes, he had his complaints.  Like the time he declared our toilet paper to be too thin and our newspapers too fat.  “But it was this man’s curiosity about the land of his mother’s birth that formed the makings of a beautiful – and, of course, special – relationship.  “If pressed to capture this in a single moment, perhaps it would be right here in the Capitol, the day after Christmas, 1941.  “Three weeks after Pearl Harbor, when the aggressors had us on the ropes, and intended to keep us there.  Speaking to the Congress, Churchill called on Americans to stand firm.   [At this point, excerpts from Churchill’s address to a joint meeting of Congress played in the hall.] “Ladies and gentlemen, this is one of history’s true love stories.  Between a great statesman and a nation he called ‘The Great Republic.’  “We are here together to bring it all full circle. “For today – with peace, justice, and a touch of majesty – Winston Churchill returns to the United States Capitol.  “Just as a statue of Lincoln stands outside Parliament, this bust renews the ties between our peoples and reminds us that the blessings we often take for granted were won through terrific struggle. “Of course, we’ll be putting our old friend right to work.  If you’re looking for his counsel or hoping to feel a little braver, you’ll find him just down the steps from here in a rotunda that – from this day forward – will be known as the Freedom Foyer.  “Because so long as we cheer Churchill’s example – and defend all that he preserved – our shared and sacred cause will live on. “So welcome, Prime Minister, and welcome to all of you.  I hope you enjoy our program, which continues now with the leaders of the United States Congress.”

Rock icon Roger Daltrey was on hand to help celebrate the unveiling.

Your Sunday Hymn: I Heard The Voice Of Jesus Say

The very Celtic sounding “I Heard The Voice Of Jesus Say”, (set to the tune “Kingsfold”) is performed by a very Celtic sounding Dutch band, called Trinity.

Trinity is a band formed by 4 young talented musicians from The Netherlands. Three of the band members, the Smelt brothers, spent their childhood in Peru. Their South American up-tempo musical roots together with their love for Celtic music are the ingredients of Trinity’s passionate pop songs. Their debut album “Inicio” (which means beginning) was released in October of 2007 and was received very well by their audience. “Inicio” contains some songs that they have sung since childhood, but also songs that inspired them. Familiar songs like “Wayfaring Stranger” and Matt Redman’s “Mission’s Flame” are rearranged with the unique Trinity sound.

So glad I found this..
