A Facebook post recently directed me to a site that featured vintage ads that “would be considered sexist, today.” There are tons of ads like this from days gone by when women were usually portrayed as the dumber, weaker sex.
Like these, for instance.
“Blow in her face and she’ll follow you anywhere.”
“If she doesn’t give it to you, get it yourself.”
But those old ads are charming compared to the latest ObamaCare ads featured on doyougotinsurance.com (Do you got insurance?!) a Colorado non profit devoted to promoting and directing users to Colorado’s official ObamaCare Exchange website. The same degenerates who brought us the repulsive “brosurance” ads, have outdone themselves. Now we basically have “ho-surance” featuring female twenty-somethings acting like ditzes with smug d-bags like this:
“Let’s hope he’s as easy as this birth control”?
Seriously?
Just a reminder in case you’re not already disgusted enough – HHS is forcing religious employers to offer insurance to employees that covers the contraception/abortifacient needs of the #OMG, Hot to trot!, Let’s get physical! crowd. Against their conscientious objections.
Here’s another charming ad:
What’s next? Ads featuring giddy twenty somethings clutching bottles of antibiotics to treat their venereal diseases?
#OMG! Got insurance? I’m super excited to have this gonzo-gonorrhea treated quickly and efficiently. Wheeeee! Thanks ObamaCare!!!
You may be wondering what kind of person would be behind these debased, degenerate ads.
Well, apparently it’s this guy @alanfranklin
And his Twitterfeed features women like this one
CAN THE #GOP STOP MAKING ME FEEL AWFUL ABOUT MY UTERUS PLZ KTHX #waronwomen#slutshaming#ThanksObamacare#GotInsurance
— Norma (@norma) November 12, 2013
Because women should be what? Proud that they’re “sluts”? Is that the message? There should be no shame any more for any type of behavior? Shame on the GOP for having standards! OMG you Guyz!
This ad campaign is Democrat #waronwomen stuff that caters to the lowest common denominator. Most women I know don’t think with their uteruses. I’d like to think most women can figure out using their big girl brains how to procure birth control pills inexpensively without the government’s help. (Psssst $9.00 a month at Walmart and Target.) Women are supposed to be “excited” about free birth control while paying much higher premiums? Are they insane?
The #ThanksObamacare campaign seems mostly interested in getting really stupid people to buy really expensive insurance

These ads are an embarrassment and an insult any self respecting woman’s intelligence.
Lena Dunham’s “my first time” ad, coupled with the “got insurance” ads paint a pretty miserable picture of what Dems think of women.

The “hip” “cool” Obamacare ads targeting young people are so lame they don’t just make me not want insurance, they make me wish I was dead

These #Brosurance ads have had an unexpected impact on me. Rage has given way to tears. We destroyed their future & now show contempt 4 them

Linked by Doug Ross, thanks!

You’re serious that those “bro-surance” ads were on the level???? I swear I thought they were a joke.
OMGoodness, how little this administration thinks of it’s constituents. Disgusting.

This is a progressive non profit that is putting the ads out. But yeah – This is how the left objectifies women.

I linked to that site, and my security program came up and warned me testing had shown the site had risky behavior and links. 🙂 Kinda funny when you realize it links to Obamacare.

Me too, but when you consider other ads they’ve done..

The women is old school ads are seductive, the O’care women are gross. They are supposed to be some sort of feminist triumph because they “actively” chase men. Yeah. Because men run away from them.
That political director looks rather emasculated.
