Boehner Goes Nuclear On Obama: “When Is He Going To Take Responsibility For SOMETHING?!” (Video)

During a press conference, Thursday morning, House Speaker John Boehner exploded in response to a question from a reporter as to whether he was worried Republicans would get blamed if they don’t pass Obama’s emergency fund request to handle the influx of unaccompanied minors at the border.
“This is a problem of the president’s own making!” Boehner answered, his voice rising. “He’s been president for five and a half years! When’s he going to take responsibility for something?!”

Obama has telegraphed to his toadies in the media what the narrative on the border crisis is to be – (stingy, mean-spirited, racist Republicans don’t want to help the children) – and as Breitbart’s John Nolte reported, they are already prepping the battlefield to attack the GOP on it. I feel Boehner’s frustration at being asked by one of Obama’s little helpers if he’s afraid that the bad press they are about to give him, is worrying.

But Boehner reminded reporters Obama was responsible for the crisis.

“His actions gave false hope to children and their families that if they entered the country illegally they would be allowed to stay,” Boehner said.

“Our priorities are clear. Take care of these children, return them safely home – to their home countries, to their own families – and secure the border.”

Like Perry, the Speaker advocated sending in the National Guard, which he says he recommended to the president in a letter sent, last month.

When he was asked about Republican support for President Obama’s emergency funding to handle the influx of unaccompanied minors, he demurred.

“We’re not giving President Obama a blank check,” he said.

Good to know.

  1. Boehner is playing it politically smart by downplaying impeachment right now. The Obama cultists and government dependents came out in droves in 2008 and 2012 – but they stayed home in 2010 because he wasn’t on the ticket. Get it?
If you make impeachment an issue – that puts Obama on the ticket.
Wait until after the election to criticize Boehner – if nothing is done at that point, he’ll deserve our wrath.

  2. It’s a sad state of affairs that we have to hold our fire because we might rile up the LoFos but you’re right ND-Articles of Impeachment at this point would serve us ill-taking the Senate, even with a dirtbag like McConnell as majority leader, has to be our 1st priority.

  3. I’ve been calling for impeachment for a while now. Without control of the Senate, it would amount to mission impossible.

Having said that, if anyone thinks that Boner is playing coy here on the subject and will bring it up after a big victory in November……forget it. It is never going to happen. Not with Boner or any of the rest of the repubic leadership in place.

Short of but maybe including a murder the repubics are never going to impeach the first black President. Oh and the Courts aren’t going to intercede in this mess either. They better start defunding items like Ted Cruz suggested months ago on obozoKare….but don’t hold your breathe.

Buckle up, it’s going to be a rough 2+ years coming filled with executive fiats and no republican leadership.
