Holder, who should have resigned in disgrace after the Fast and Furious scandal erupted in the Spring of 2011, soldiered on even after he was held in contempt by congress in the summer of 2012.
His tenure as the nation’s top law enforcement officer will be remembered as one marked by scandal, corruption, hyper-politicization, opposition to 2nd Amendment rights, hostility toward conservatives, and an abysmal batting average in the courts.
Under Holder, the DOJ began treating terrorists as criminal defendants rather than enemy combatants, and purged references to “radical Islam” in FBI training materials.
His first scandal erupted when the DOJ dropped the New Black Panther voter intimidation case in May of 2009, (described by Bartle Bull, a former civil rights lawyer and publisher of the left-wing Village Voice, as “the most blatant form of voter intimidation I’ve ever seen.”)
Under Holder, the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ became hyper-politicized sewer that engaged in politicized hiring practices in the career civil service ranks.
In June 2008, Holder admitted to the American Constitution Society (an organization started as a liberal counterweight to the Federalist Society) that the Justice Department was “going to be looking for people who share our values.”

I’m so disappointed that he’ll have the opportunity to walk out the door instead of being “frog marched” out. Naturally this is all a plan to avoid getting a nominee through a Republican majority Senate. Realizing that I had set my sights high, looking forward to a Impeachment hearing on him from a Republican controlled Senate. Then I woke up and realized that I was once again counting on too much from a party with their track record.
Whatever remnants of our Constitution wasn’t shredded by the White House, he assured the completion of the job. After his last stint at the DOinJ he should’ve never been approved in the first place. Somebody should start a “pool” to determine what radical will be nominated next and how fast the repubics fold and pass him/her.
The next one up could very well serve well into the next administration . . . . . {God forbid} if you know who gets elected.
