Judicial Watch: 4 Terrorists Have Been Apprehended At Southern Border In Past 36 Hours

The Obama administration has denied recent allegations from Republicans in congress that members of the terrorist group ISIS have been caught trying to cross the border into Texas.

On September 4,  Judicial Watch alerted  the public about a plot involving  Islamic terrorists in Mexico crossing the Southern border to attack the homeland on September 11.

The recent increase in security at a key Army base near a Mexican border city where Islamic terrorists are confirmed to be operating and planning an attack on the United States indicates that the facility is a target, according to senior military experts contacted by Judicial Watch.

Last month, Congressman Jason Chaffetz, who sits on the Homeland Security committee,  asked DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson what he knew about four men with terrorist ties who were caught trying to cross the Texas border on September 10.

Rep. Chaffetz, who also chairs the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on National Security, told Johnson that four individuals with “ties to known terrorist organizations in the Middle East” were apprehended on September 10th trying the cross into the U.S. through two different stations in Texas.

When asked if he was aware of that situation, Johnson said, “I’ve heard reports to that effect. I don’t know the accuracy of the reports or how much credence to give them, but I’ve heard reports to that effect.”

Tuesday, Congressman Duncan Hunter told Greta Van Susteren that ISIS is actively infiltrating the U.S. through the Southern border.

‘I know that at least ten ISIS fighters have been caught coming across the Mexican border in Texas,’ he said. ‘There’s nobody talking about it.’

Asked how he knows this, Hunter explained that he’s talked to the border patrol agents. What more, he notes that those are just the ones they’ve caught – just a tip of the iceberg since certainly many more have made it across.

Via the Daily Mail, the Department of Homeland Security flatly denied on Wednesday any claims that an “ISIS terror army is quietly slipping into the United States through its porous southern border – and that American border patrol agents have already captured ten of its soldiers.”

‘The suggestion that individuals who have ties to ISIL have been apprehended at the Southwest border is categorically false, and not supported by any credible intelligence or the facts on the ground,’ a Homeland Security spokesman said in a statement, using the administration’s preferred alternative acronym for the group.

‘DHS continues to have no credible intelligence to suggest terrorist organizations are actively plotting to cross the southwest border.’

But Americans should know by now  not to accept the word of any members of the Obama administration. They have been trained to practice the Obama method of deception – Deny, delay, distract.

Judicial Watch  sounded the alarm again today.

Islamic terrorists have entered the United States through the Mexican border and Homeland Security sources tell Judicial Watch that four have been apprehended in the last 36 hours by federal authorities and the Texas Department of Public Safety in McAllen and Pharr.

JW confirmed this after California Congressman Duncan Hunter, a former Marine Corp Major and member of the House Armed Services Committee, disclosed on national television that at least ten Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) fighters have been caught crossing the Mexican border in Texas. The veteran lawmaker got the astounding intel straight from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the Homeland Security agency responsible for guarding the 1,933-mile southern border.

“If you really want to protect Americans from ISIS, you secure the southern border,” Hunter proclaimed on a national cable news show this week. “It’s that simple. ISIS doesn’t have a navy, they don’t have an air force, they don’t have nuclear weapons. The only way that ISIS is going to harm Americans is by coming in through the southern border – which they already have.” The three-term congressmen went on: “They aren’t flying B-1 bombers, bombing American cities, but they are going to be bombing American cities coming across from Mexico.”

In late August JW reported that Islamic terrorist groups are operating in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez and planning to attack the United States with car bombs or other vehicle borne improvised explosive devices (VBIED). High-level federal law enforcement, intelligence and other sources confirmed to JW that a warning bulletin for an imminent terrorist attack on the border has been issued. Agents across a number of Homeland Security, Justice and Defense agencies have all been placed on alert and instructed to aggressively work all possible leads and sources concerning this imminent terrorist threat.

Back then intelligence officials said they had picked up radio talk and chatter indicating that the terrorist groups are going to “carry out an attack on the border,” according JW’s sources. “It’s coming very soon,” confirmed a high-level government official who clearly identified the groups planning the plots as “ISIS and Al Qaeda.” Two days after JW’s report ran, Ft. Bliss, the U.S. Army post in El Paso, implemented increased security measures. The Department of Defense (DOD) attributed the move to vague “security assessments” and the constant concern for the safety of military members, families, employees and civilians.

However, military experts told JW that the increase in security indicates that Ft. Bliss is a target. Military installations in the U.S. only make changes to security measures when there are clear and present threats, according to retired Army Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin, former commander of the Army’s elite Delta Force who also served four years as Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence. “That means they’re getting a threat stream. Ft. Bliss had to have a clear and present threat,” Boykin said. Following that news, federal law enforcement sources in El Paso revealed that U.S. Congressman Beto O’Rourke telephoned the area offices of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) in an effort to identify—and evidently intimidate—sources that may have been used by JW to break the ISIS in Juarez story.

During the Bush years, the administration was transparent about terror threats – alerting the public of the threat assessment using a color coded chart. The idea was to let the people know what the threats were so they could prepare and alter their plans accordingly.  But those days are gone. Secrecy and deception have taken its place. The Obama Regime does NOT place a high priority on keeping the American people safe. Witness their refusal to impose travel restrictions on people coming from Ebola-ravaged countries.

The  highest priority of this Regime is the safety of the Democrat party and that relies on an open and porous  border.

Race Baiters Jump To Blame Ebola Death On Racism While MSM Ignores The Real Reason

CNN SUGGESTS RACISM BEHIND DEATH OF DALLAS EBOLA PATIENT

Besides the obvious fact that the race card is always thrown down at every and any opportunity during an election year, what else could be going on, here?

Michelle Malkin is on it:

What was the real reason Thomas Eric Duncan was turned away when he went to the hospital for the first time? Initial headlines last week indicated that there was a   procedural flaw in the online health records system at  Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital which had led to the key miscommunication between nurses and doctors.

The facility sent Ebola victim Thomas Duncan home despite his showing signs of the disease — only to admit him with worse symptoms three days later.

Hospital officials, who came forward “in the interest of transparency,” initially blamed work-flow and information-sharing problems for the botch. “Protocols were followed by both the physician and the nurses,” the statement noted. “However, we have identified a flaw in the way the physician and nursing portions of our electronic health records interacted in this specific case.”

Mysteriously, after taking special care to get their facts straight before releasing the statement, the hospital backed off a day later. The very specific communications flaw in the medical-records software — which apparently had prevented some staff from accessing Duncan’s travel history from Liberia — suddenly disappeared.

What really happened?

Here’s what I can tell you for sure: Texas Health contracts with Epic Systems for its electronic-medical-records system — and the Dallas hospital isn’t the only client that has complained about its costly information-sharing flaws and interoperability failures.

Epic was founded by billionaire Judy Faulkner, a top Obama donor whose company is the dominant EMR player in the U.S. health-care market. As I reported last year, Epic employees donated nearly $1 million to political parties and candidates between 1995 and 2012 — 82 percent of it to Democrats. The company’s top ten PAC recipients are all Democratic or left-wing outfits, from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (nearly $230,000) to the DNC Services Corporation (nearly $175,000) and the America’s Families First Action Fund super PAC ($150,000).

Faulkner, an influential Obama campaign-finance bundler, served as an adviser to David Blumenthal. He’s the White House health-information-technology guru in charge of dispensing the federal electronic-medical-records subsidies that Faulkner pushed President Obama to adopt. Faulkner also served on the same committee Blumenthal chaired.

Cozy arrangement, that.

Speaking of cozy arrangements – Malkin notes that Epic got billions in federal subsidies under the 2009 Obama stimulus package.

Read the whole thing, here.  You can blame this fiasco on an inept Obama-friendly company that would probably have gone belly up by now if not for the cozy arrangement it has with the government.

As usual, the truth is being suppressed while a toxic left-wing narrative is being allowed to take root.

Now that a sheriff’s deputy is showing “signs and symptoms of Ebola” after spending a half an hour in Duncan’s apartment, I wonder if Jesse Jackson will have anything to say on his behalf?

First responders have transported a Dallas County Sheriff’s deputy to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital to be monitored as a possible second case of Ebola.

The patient, Michael Monnig, was transported from a Frisco Care Now facility where he was complaining of “stomach issues,” according to sources.

According to CBS 11’s Andrea Lucia, Monnig’s children said he woke up this morning feeling sore and a little nauseated.  He went to clinic as a precaution.

****

Monning was not one of the 48 people being monitored by federal, state and local health officials because he never had direct contact with the patient.  Monnig did enter the apartment where Duncan stayed after Duncan had been admitted to the hospital.

“He was in the apartment for 30 minutes, which we were told is no chance to contact the virus,” said Logan.

“We were told – we were told…”

The clinic reported that he was “exhibiting signs and symptoms of Ebola.”

America In Crisis and POTUS Won’t Lead: Former Officials Seem “Scared,” Worried,” “Alarmed” (Video)

Former Obama CIA Director and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta has been making the media rounds promoting his book, Worthy Fights: A Memoir of Leadership in War and Peace – seen by many as an attempt to inoculate Hillary Clinton (and himself) from Obama’s disastrous foreign policies.

In an interview described as “devastating” to Obama, Tuesday night,  he shared his thought’s with Bill O’Reilly on what he perceives to be the president’s lack of leadership on the world stage.

Following the interview, O’Reilly had Charles Krauthammer on the Factor to discuss what was said. Dr. K said that “even though his tone was measured and restrained,” the content of the interview was “utterly devastating” to the president.

He was basically saying this president cannot lead. He is indecisive and he is weak” Krauthammer declared.

He added “what was so interesting is, it wasn’t even in the discussion that Iraq or Afghanistan, but this won’t even be reported, but the thing he said about Ukraine where he just sort of he laid out what should be done…and he said this just outright, you said, ‘why doesn’t he do it?’ He had absolutely no answer.”

Krauthammer concluded “it’s not just indecisiveness and how tentative Obama is, but it’s also how political he is. Remember when Gates, Bob Gates wrote his book, he talked about how the decision-making about the surge in Afghanistan and then leaving in Afghanistan was essentially dictated by the political types in the white house, and you get the same thing in the Panetta book about Iraq. He knew we had to leave troops in Iraq. It is one of the worst decisions ever made by this president.” And “it was the political nature of that [the withdrawal from Iraq] that, I think, is the biggest indictment of Obama, where he put the White House concerns about the political partisan fortunes of the president above the national security of the country.”

Former White House Press Secretary under President Bush, Dana Perino, appeared on the Kelly File Tuesday with Megyn Kelly to discuss the interview which aired right before her show.

Calling it a “scathing” interview, Kelly noted that he is the third top Obama Cabinet member to openly criticize the president’s decision-making –  first Former Defense Chief Robert Gates, then former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton, and now former Defense Sec. Leon Panetta.

Kelly and Perino were struck by the undercurrent of worry and alarm present in these former top officials’ books.

Perino noted that all of them have said in their books that they gave Obama advice and he went the other way. She wanted to know “if they felt so strongly at the time that politics was trumping people, then why didn’t they resign on principle?”

Kelly said Panetta seems “scared” and “genuinely worried.”  She added, “he seems to be trying to telegraph to us that he’s very concerned about the man sitting in the Oval Office right now.”

Even former president Jimmy Carter (the 2nd to worst president in American history) is harshing on Obama’s mellow:

Via TIME:

Former President Jimmy Carter has criticized the Obama administration’s handling of the crisis in the Middle East and the growing threat of the Islamic State, joining a growing list of the president’s allies who are scrutinizing his strategy in Syria and Iraq.

In an interview with the Fort Worth, Tex. Star-Telegram published Tuesday, Carter said the U.S. had waited too long to respond to the growing power of the Islamic State in Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) extremist group, which also goes by the name Islamic State.

“We let the Islamic state build up its money, capability and strength and weapons while it was still in Syria,” Carter said. “Then when [ISIS] moved into Iraq, the Sunni Muslims didn’t object to their being there and about a third of the territory in Iraq was abandoned.”

The White House sent out political hack Bill Burton – not to discuss Panetta’s criticisms on the merits – but to verbally attack him with childish name-calling taunts.

The White House dispatched long-time Obama hack Bill Burton to smear Panetta.

Via TWS:

A former spokesman for President Barack Obama, Bill Burton, went on CNN last night to unload on the president’s former defense secretary and former CIA director, Leon Panetta. Burton is upset about some of the things Panetta wrote in his memoir, which hit shelves yesterday, and called the long-time public servant “sad,” “dishonorable,” “small and petty.”

The RNC couldn’t have done a better job proving Panetta’s point that this White House is unserious and overly concerned with petty politics to the nation’s detriment.
