Well well well, look who has resurfaced after a long four year hiatus?

Oregon Green Candidate Crashes Debate, Allowed to Stay:

Pacific Green Party candidate Jason Levin crashed a debate between his Democratic and Republican rivals earlier today by simply walking into the room and grabbing a seat next to the two men. The debate was taking place at the offices of the Pamplin Media Group and in front of the editorial boards of the Pamplin Media Group and the EO Media Group.

Whaaat? Who is this mysterious stranger?

Longtime readers of this blog may remember “Tea Party Crasher” Jason Levin, the middle school teacher from Oregon who made quite a splash in 2010 with his “Crash the Tea Party” campaign to discredit conservatives.

At the height of his “influence”, he told the AP that he “had over 65 leaders in major cities across the country trying to recruit members to infiltrate tea party events for April 15.”

The mission of crashtheteaparty.org is simple. “Infiltrate and dismantle” the movement from the inside out. The group’s strategy is to impersonate tea party supporters and portray them as right-wing extremists in front of the news cameras in order to discredit the cause.

Levin went on to say “Every time we have someone on camera saying that Barack Obama isn’t an American citizen, we want someone sitting next to him saying, ‘That’s right, he’s an alien from outer space!’” Levin also did not shy away his prior accusations that most tea party supporters are “racists, morons, and homophobes.”

I covered his bizarre antics rather extensively throughout the Spring and Summer of 2010.

The fun came to an abrupt end in August 2010 when he was forced to resign his teaching job.

Fox News reported:

“He resigned earlier this week, on Monday,” Maureen Wheeler of the Beaverton School District said. “He resigned in lieu of termination.”

Wheeler said Levin learned the results of the district’s investigation and resigned. She would not comment on those investigative results.

Conestoga Middle School media lab teacher Jason Levin became national news back in April when he announced his intention to bring down the Tea Party on his “Crash the Tea Party” website and in media interviews.

The now-ex Conestoga Middle School media lab teacher said in April that he would seek to embarrass Tea Partiers by attending their rallies dressed as Adolf Hitler, carrying signs bearing racist, sexist and anti-gay epithets and acting as offensively as possible — anything short of throwing punches.

In a post on his now defunct website, Levin once called on his supporters to collect the Social Security numbers—among other personal identifying information—about as many Tea Party supporters as possible at rallies taking place across the country on Tax Day.

“Some other thoughts are to ask people at the rally to sign a petition renouncing socialism. See just how much info you can get from these folks (name address, DOB, Social Security #). The more data we can mine from the Tea Partiers, the more mayhem we can cause with it!!!!” he wrote.

Yeahhhh. That’s the guy who’s running for governor in Oregon on the Green ticket.

Levin enters the room at approximately the 8:40 mark. He showed up wearing a suit and gained access to the room by simply telling the receptionist that he was there for the debate, without any additional explanation.

The moonbats are out in full force to celebrate “Earth Day” today. There are all sorts of events planned jam packed with the sort of symbolic feel-goodism liberals adore. A whopping 18% of the American people say they plan to “celebrate” Earth Day, this year.

NASA even took some time out from their Muslim outreach duties to promote the importance of “climate change” (I like to call it “weather”) with #GlobalSelfies so libs can take pictures of themselves caring more about the earth than you do.

Earth Day was co-founded by a murderous degenerate named Ira Einhorn who bashed his girlfriend’s head in and hid her body in a trunk while she was still alive. There she stayed for the next 18 months until her her rotting corpse was discovered by the police. He is known as “the Unicorn Killer” because Einhorn means unicorn in German. Via The Conversation: EPA ‘Jetting Around the Country’ for Week-Long Earth Day Tour

Administrator McCarthy will undertake a greenhouse gas laden week-long tour that will “far exceed” any benefit from her climate change proselytizing.

“Frenetically jetting around the country appears to undercut [the] EPA’s message to ordinary Americans that they should conserve, consume less and reduce transportation pollution,” PEER Executive Director Jeff Ruch said in a statement.

McCarthy will be participating in “various events to…focus on responsible steps to cut carbon pollution to slow the effects of climate change” in New York, Boston, Cleveland, Atlanta and Memphis.

Some activities on the tour were called into question.

Ruch noted that some events on McCarthy’s itinerary have questionable ties to promoting climate action, such as joining Energy Secretary Moniz to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Tuesday’s Red Sox vs. Yankees baseball game at Boston’s Fenway Park.

There’s some sort of Pow-wow going on at the National Mall in Washington DC to protest the Keystone Pipeline. As you can see, it’s lightly attended, I’m guessing because even most moonbats know Obama’s already decided against it – and has just kicked the can down the road again to the mitigate political damage to vulnerable Dems. But for some people, it’s still worth the effort just so they show everyone how much they care about the environment, you guys!

BUSTED: Racist At Pro- Zimmerman Rally I.D.’d As Left-Wing Activist (Updated)

On Saturday, conservatives held a pro-Zimmerman rally to counter the New Black Panther “Justice for Trayvon” march in Houston. Breitbart’s Brandon Darby reported that the police did a good job keeping the two sides apart, but one person on the NBPP side did manage to mingle with the pro-Zimmerman side. (*see update)

Seriously, AP/ New York Daily News…you found nothing suspicious about this woman?

Via Gateway Pundit, The Houston Chronicle identified her as Renee Vaughan:

One woman in the Zimmerman group held a sign that said, “We’re racist & proud.”

Austin resident Renee Vaughan echoed the sign’s ugly sentiments by yelling, “We’re racist. We’re proud. We’re better because we’re white,” at the Martin group as they passed, according to the Chronicle.

Because racists typically self identify that way – “We’re Racist and we’re proud! We’re better than you because we’re white!” Happens all the time.

Since you can’t expect reporters at the AP, NY Daily News or Houston Chronicle to actually have working B.S. detectors, citizen journalists like Kristinn Taylor have to do the job of smoking out this left-wing moonbat infiltrator.

Scanning the internet we found that a “Renee Vaughn” from Austin worked for a far left environmental group, the Texas Campaign for the Environment.

Renee even has her photo linked to a far left environmental website.

There are also plenty of pictures of Renee at the Texas Campaign for the Environment Facebook page.
What do you know – here’s one of her wearing those awesome, pink cat-eye sunglasses!

Yup, that’s her, alright.

Man, it takes a special kind of stupid to hold up a sign professing to be a racist, and then tell reporters your real name. But that appears to be what happened, here.

Spread this…Unfortunately, that fraudulent picture went viral worldwide. We can only correct the record by spreading the truth.

Breitbart New’s Brandon Darby interviewed Vaughan. He notes that she was located on the Trayvon Martin/New Black Panther Party-supporting side of the demonstration It turns out that she was sarcastically trying to make a point about what she perceives to be white racism in the pro-Zimmerman crowd – but reporters everywhere took her seriously..

I was present in Houston and personally saw the woman holding the sign. She was attending the event with a fellow anti-Zimmerman demonstrator who was wearing a hoodie. I interviewed her and took this footage:

So what we have here is a total lack of critical thinking skills on her part (equating support for Zimmerman with racism) and the media (uncritically accepting the “too good to check” story.)

What I’d like to know if if Fraser was just being sloppy, or maliciously disseminating a smear, or if the Daily News just misreported the whole thing.

Brandon Darby is of the opinion that The Daily News significantly distorted the Chronicle story. I’ve emailed Fraser to find out and will update if I hear back.

Who Owns May Day?

The once innocent placing of May Day baskets and the celebration of Spring has been secreted away only to be replaced by events for every wannabe occupy group from Oakland to NYC and beyond . What is the attraction to May Day? While it is a holiday in other countries and the communist worker’s day, groups here are trying to use May Day to revitalize the occupy passion again after it fizzled out in a slow degradation of health and safety issues at most encampments.

A sampling of posters and event schedules suggests that anyone can claim the day; immigrant rights, gay rights, free education, labor unions, anti corporate greed, anti Wall Street greed. Some roll it into a more enigmatic phrase, 99% Spring. Most art or graffiti is a call to return to the glory of the camp. All agree that no one should work, shop, attend school or have fun. That’s what they’ve always had in common anyway. Emphasis this year is put on students and teachers to abandon school, or better yet, bring the whole class to Occupy.

“No single day, park, or effort can contain our vision; instead, we propose and will struggle to make all our universities places of free education, inquiry, and access to knowledge for all. We demand that our society put forward the necessary resources to provide such an education for all”.

Not all posters claim May Day peace and love. There are always the unspecified threats from Anonymous seen in this depiction.

” …official websites announce plans to “occupy” Manhattan-bound bridges and tunnels as well as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco Tuesday. Besides street protests, sympathizers are asked to engage in a U.S. general strike to “shut it down,” referring to the country’s economy”.

Some posters display weapons or torching. The headless cop is by far the most provocative. Many advocate picket lines, sit-ins, road blocks, and shut downs, the usual fare. Seattle is bracing for violence cited in the Mayor’s press release. LA activists claim they will shut down the flow of capital.

SEIU will be right in the middle again but will disavow any knowledge of property damage or violence. Expect the police to be blamed if people get hurt.

Of course, there will be drum circles and after parties.

#Occupy activists on Wall Street are going ahead with the much proclaimed International Day of Action threatening to take down Wall Street, subways, Foley Park, and Times Square. The official OWS site encourages other OWS encampments and groups to take similar action. A breakfast on Wall Street, and a luncheon on various key subway platforms. Sounds lovely. BTW, it’s another peaceful event touted as a celebration. The whole world’s watching.

On Thursday November 17th, the two month anniversary of the Occupy Wall Street movement, we call upon the 99% to participate in a national day of direct action and celebration!
BREAKFAST: Shut Down Wall Street – 7:00 a.m.

Enough of this economy that exploits and divides us. It’s time we put an end to Wall Street’s reign of terror and begin building an economy that works for all. We will gather in Liberty Square at 7:00 a.m., before the ring of the Trading Floor Bell, to prepare to confront Wall Street with the stories of people on the frontlines of economic injustice. John E at AoSHQ watched the #occupy “general assembly, last night, and said it was every bit as creepy and bizarre as you’d expect.

The tone on their websites is much more up-twinkly benign occupation talk, but there were multiple calls to “shut down” this or that and to “confront the fascist police forces” in the streets during the assembly (check out the #N17 hash for more). That message appears to be resonating. Like he says, they want to “burn the city to the ground”. When Occupy Wall Street started many on the right were warning Democrats to avoid encouraging or embracing it, not because it was going to end up being a political liability to them, but because it had the potential to spiral out of control. Democrat mayors and politicians are attempting to dial it back, but it may be too late. Within 24 hours, I think we’ll have our answer.

So this has been the marketing strategy for Mens Wearhouse all along, huh?

The “day of action” is to begin early, with protesters converging on Wall Street camouflaged in business suits hoping to blend in with office workers trooping out of the subway.

“We will rise from beneath. They can’t stop all of us. It’s going to get crazy,” vowed one organizer. “They took the first shot Tuesday night. [Thursday] we return fire. We will be peaceful, but we will resist.”

The city said it was bracing for tens of thousands of people in the streets.

“The protesters are calling for a massive event aimed at disrupting major parts of the city,” said Howard Wolfson, deputy mayor for governmental affairs. “We will be prepared for that.”

WABC’s live video feed shows police cordoning off the Wall Street area and providing only limited access today, a task for which they are well rehearsed — and thanks to the loose lips in the Occupy movement, well prepared.

Chances are good that this will be another Occu-FAIL.

We knew they were coming but the disheveled horde from OccupyDenver occupied the lobby, at the Crowne Center Hotel here at BlogCon a little sooner than we had bargained for. Expected at 5:00pm, they invaded BlogCon at approximately 2:00pm.

Pandemonium ensued, with camera lights flashing on both sides, cameras trained on each other. For some reason, the occupiers were preoccupied (no pun intended) on the Koch brothers, who help fund Americans For Prosperity, not Freedomworks.
