Obama’s Immoral Welfare Regime as Explained By a Radio Talk Show Caller

Joe, a self-employed construction worker from Caret Virginia, called into the Mark Levin Show Wednesday to “bust the myth” about the minimum wage.

Joe was bitter because he has always worked hard and played by the rules, while illegal immigrants and welfare cheats make their living off of the American taxpayer.

He said that the first thing a head of the household with two kids making minimum wage does, is head over to the Social Security Administration.

“You get $400 a month in food-stamps,” he began. “That comes from me. He doesn’t earn it. It’s free. Then he goes and he gets a Section 8 house. Instead of paying $1,100 a month like I have to pay, he gets $900 paid by the government, tax free. Then he gets temporary cash assistance. He has 2 kids in school – that’s $300 a month as long as they’re in school. Then he gets another $1,000 a month in free Medicare (Medicaid) because he, his wife, his family get free insurance that I get to pay for, but he gets it for free. I guarantee his kids have ADHD so his kids get free Adderall that he and his wife can go out and sell.”

Joe said he knows construction workers who go to the doctor claiming to have a backache (when they’re not hurt) so they can get the Oxycodin which he says is worth $1 per milligram on the street. He added “that’s worth another $700 to $1,000 a month in cash.”

“That’s why we have a heroin epidemic,” Joe explained. “Because doctors are hooked on the Medicare just like the people are.”

He continued, “then at the end of the year they get an unearned income tax credit worth $2,500 per family member.”

He said it is impossible to get workers to come in and work for a decent wage when it’s more profitable to stay home and do nothing.

“These people don’t want to earn over a certain amount because they’ll lose subsidies,” Levin summed up.

Joe said he joined the military at age 16, served his country, broke his back twice and still managed to work his way up without ever taking a dime from the government. But it wasn’t easy. At one point he had to hitchhike to work. “Nobody helped me,” Joe seethed. Not that he would have accepted assistance from the government because that’s not how he says he was raised.

“I hate my government,” he added. “I’m angry.”

Joe said that it’s nearly impossible for businesses to make a profit today with all of the taxes and regulations they have to pay. “I’m out now,” he concluded. “I said to hell with it.”

Most conservatives support a “safety net” for people who temporarily fall on hard times or for whatever reason can’t (not won’t) help themselves. But cradle to grave dependency on government is not only unsustainable, it’s deeply immoral. It’s so very very wrong — not just because it adds to the debt and hurts the economy. It also hurts the people it is intended to help, turning them  into adult children with no shame, no work ethic and no sense of responsibility. The worst become violent street predators who wreak havoc on the peace and tranquility of peaceful communities.

What kind of person is proud of living his/her life totally dependent on government?

Meet “Lucy,” the 32 year old Welfare queen who called into a radio talk show in Austin Texas, a few years ago. Remember Lucy?

She gets $550.00 for rent $425.00 for food stamps, $150.00 for electric, free cell phone, $100.00 for water, and even Christmas presents for her three kids. “Why should I work?” she asked.  She’s married, but her husband rarely works. “He doesn’t really see the need for it”, she said.

“…To all you workers out there preaching morality about those of us who live on welfare… can you really blame us? I get to sit around all day, visit my friends, smoke weed.. and we are still gonna get paid, on time every month…”

She said “taxpayers are the fools.”

For the past seven plus years everything bad about the welfare system has skyrocketed.  (Of course, everything bad skyrockets under Obama.)

Baltimore Cop: Spike in Crime Due To Less Policing “Definitely a Result of the Indictment of the 6 Officers (Video)

Sean Hannity had a current Baltimore city police officer on his show, Tuesday evening to talk about the explosive crime wave in his city.

As is now become necessary in the Obama era – the whistle-blowing law enforcement officer had his face hidden, and voice disguised to protect himself from retaliation. In our new upside-down world, those who risk their lives every day to serve and protect us – must be hidden in shame.

The incognito cop explained why the city was seeing a spike in its crime rate: “After the protests it seemed like the citizens would appreciate a lack of a police presence, and that’s exactly what they’re getting. No proactive policing, right now.”

Hannity asked the officer if police in Baltimore are “afraid to do their job.”

“When you go out on the street, you trust that your command staff and those you work with will support you. The point is – the tip of the spear needs the most assurance that your department, your citizens, mayor and city council will have your back.”

The implication being, these cops feel like they’ve been left out to dry.

Hannity asked pointedly if the lack of policing was “a direct result of the indictment of the six police officers.”

“It’s definitely a result of the indictment of the six officers,” the  cop said. “When you have officers out there proactively targeting – trying to get violent criminals off the street, trying to reduce drug activity, trying to get violent offenders off the street, and those who are doing their jobs get indicted for murder, you can’t help but have repercussions…”

He explained that cops are now “apprehensive [about] putting their hands on people, they’re not stopping cars, they’re not looking for drug-dealers. They’re not doing the proactive work that reduced crime in Baltimore for the last 15 years.”

Hannity played a montage of soundbites from the president ripping police officers, and asked for his guest’s thoughts.

“Well, the president can’t speak from the perspective of a police officer because he never walked the beat, he never apprehended armed criminals, he never had to kick a door down to rescue someone from domestic violence situation, so when he doesn’t come across as being even remotely caring for those doing the hard work on the street, it really is disheartening.”

Asked if he thinks the crime wave will get worse as the summer progresses, the cop said, “it definitely going to get worse. It’s the beginning of summer. Summertime is usually the most violent time in the city, I would reckon to say that this is going to be a fairly routine occurrence – double digit shootings, high homicide rates of the course of the next three months.”

Hannity for some reason felt the need to have on a couple of excruciatingly dense and annoying black activists to talk about the “structural white supremacy” that was somehow causing the crime wave.

No, dude on the left, speaking super-fast and regurgitating academic black studies jargon, is not a substitute for intelligence and clarity.

It does induce involuntary eye-rolling and possibly even the launching of projectiles at the TV, I’m guessing.

The look on Sheriff David Clarke’s face following that interview makes the video worth watching to the end.

“Welcome to President Obama’s 21st Century transformation of the institution of policing – and it’s been a disaster,” Clarke dead-panned. “Unnecessary black carnage is what we saw, this weekend, and that officer – one of Baltimore’s finest hit the nail right on the head.”

He continued to say that the officer represented a “growing number of officers across the country that are tired of having all the maladies and pathologies of the American ghetto — piled on them…”

Fox News Personalities Lash Back At Obama After His Creepy Anti- Fox Comments

So the country’s first Alinsky-trained, anti-First Amendment president decided to take some pot-shots at Fox News, Tuesday during a forum at George Washington University.

As I noted at PJ Media, Obama felt safe allowing his mask to slip in a college setting where hating Fox News is de rigueur. No one felt “triggered” by the president of the United States (*arguably the most powerful man in the world) singling out a major media outlet for special scorn – because apparently on college campuses, this sort of hateful derision is allowed.

“There’s always been a strain in American politics where you’ve got the middle class, and the question has been who are you mad at if you’re struggling, if you’re working, but you don’t seem to be getting ahead,” the president said.. “And over the last 40 years, sadly, I think there’s been an effort to either make folks mad at folks at the top, or to make be mad at folks at the bottom. And I think the effort to suggest that the poor are sponges, leeches, or don’t want to work, are lazy, you know, or undeserving, got traction. And look, it’s still being propagated. I mean, I have to say that if you watch Fox News on a regular basis, it is a constant menu. They will find, like folks who make me mad, and I don’t know where they find them, right? They’re all like, like I don’t want to work. I just want a free Obama phone or whatever. And that becomes an entire narrative, right, that gets worked up. And very rarely do you hear an interview of a waitress, which is much more typical who’s raising a couple of kids, and is doing everything right, but still can’t pay the bills. And so if we’re going to change how John Boehner and Mitch McConnell think, (!) we’re going to have to change how our body politick thinks, which means we’re going to have to change how the media reports on these issues, (!!) and how people’s impressions of what it’s like to struggle in this economy looks like, and how budgets connect to that. And that’s a hard process, because that requires a much broader conversation than typically we have.”

What th – – Is he going to sic the FCC on just Fox now? A year ago, you may remember – the FCC was working on a pilot program in which it would have sent researchers into American newsrooms to grill reporters, editors and station owners about how they decided on which stories to run. That scheme was shelved after two weeks of very negative media attention thanks to a Republican Chairman on FCC who wrote an oped at the WSJ about it.

Now the president’s making noises about “changing the way the news is reported?” Particularly Fox News?

Fox’s Megyn Kelly and James Rosen discussed Obama’s disturbing fixation with Fox News on The Kelly File, last night.

Via Mediaite:

Rosen recalled an Obama White House “war on Fox News” years ago, and showed a montage of all the times the president has taken shots at the cable network (spoiler alert: it’s happened quite a bit).

Rosen figured that either the audience knows what Obama knows and “prefers to get its news from such a source,” or the White House believes the Fox audience isn’t “sophisticated enough to see what they see… effectively insulting the intelligence of the American people.”

Kelly pointed out that George W. Bush never complained about MSNBC because it would have been “beneath the dignity of the office.”

On the Hugh Hewitt radio show, Wednesday Dr. Charles Krauthammer analysis  found Obama a little wanting in the sanity department.

Look, this is sort of a pathological Obama where you know, he picks up these memes. He doesn’t know a damn thing about what’s on Fox. The idea that Fox is constantly showing, you know, sponges and leeches, and never shows the waitress trying to make it, it’s just sort of the mythological world that he lives in. Or he may be cynical. I mean, he may know it’s all nonsense. I mean, I can’t tell. I mean, after all, you probably need a psychiatrist to figure that out. But it’s either cynical or just hopelessly deluded on this. I would prefer to think he’s cynical, because I’d like somebody in the White House who’s not delusional. And this is the usual Obama cynicism. It’s the media, it’s the press, they’re underreporting liberal successes. I mean, look, the fact is a war on poverty, the billions poured into helping the poor, which in my 20s I rather supported until in my 30s, the empirical social science evidence began to come out that not only was money poured down the drain, but it was undermining the traditional structures of even the poorest neighborhoods and leading to real terrible pathologies, including helping to accelerate the breakdown of the family. So these are, there’s just the empirical social science refuting the liberal nostrums about how to help the poor. But he never engages in an argument. It’s all ad hominin.”

During the Special Report round table, Tuesday evening, Krauthammer zinged Obama for his colossal arrogance.

“He’s letting us know that his arrogance knows no limits,” Krauthammer said. “Of course he wants a change in coverage, particularly the coverage of himself.”

“After all, he was considered a Greek god in 2008. And right now, people are actually judging him on [his] merits. He doesn’t like that.”

Krauthammer said that Obama has the arrogance to say – in one day – that not only does the media have to change, but John Boehner, Mitch McConnell and Elizabeth Warren also have to change.

“There’s only one person on the firmament who doesn’t have to change and that’s Barack Obama,” Krauthammer stated.

“He seems impervious to empirical evidence. The same view he had of himself upon attaining the presidency, he has today.”

Greg Gutfeld shared his own unique take on The Five, Wednesday.  He started out by sarcastically pointing out that Obama went after Fox News instead of, say, ISIS.

Via Mediaite:

He dismissed Obama’s “absurd” criticism and argued Fox focusing on how Obama’s policies affect poverty is “scary to progressives like Obama who fear that their ideology will be exposed as the culprit behind so much present misery.”

The president’s belief, Gutfeld said, is “agree with me and we’ll be fine.” Kimberly Guilfoyle agreed that Obama’s just sore Fox highlights the truth, and it’s both “demeaning” and beneath the dignity of the office for the president to say such things.

*Arguably the most powerful man on the earth. That used to be empirical. Now it’s “arguable.” If that.

Community Organizer in Chief Pays Lip Service To Fallen NYPD Officer

This young cop is the age of my oldest. So his death after being shot twice in the face by a feral street thug, has hit me hard. My heart goes out to his family.

The NY Post  reported decorated NYPD Officer Brian Moore died Monday with his stricken family at his hospital bedside.

“It’s just a horrible day,’’ said a tearful female off-duty cop as she left a pot of red carnations and blue balloon at the 25-year-old officer’s home in Massapequa, LI.

A grim-faced Police Commissioner Bill Bratton was seen entering Jamaica Hospital as news of Moore’s death Monday afternoon surfaced, and around the same time, two cops also went in — one carrying a pair of shiny shoes and the other a police dress uniform.
Bratton later hailed Moore — who was shot in the head in the line of duty in Queens on Saturday — as one of many cops who “do a great job, often with great valor.

“It’s with great regret and sadness that we announce the passing of New York City Police Officer Brian Moore. Shield number 469. New York City police officer, hero of the city, killed in the line of duty,’’ Bratton told reporters outside the hospital.

“In his very brief career, less than five years, he had already proven himself to be an exceptional young officer,’’ Bratton said. “In that career, he had made over 150 arrests, protecting and serving the citizens of this city.

“He had already received two exceptional police service medals and two meritorious police service medals. We don’t give them out easily.”

Brian Moore made all the right choices in his brief life but it was cut short by racial hatred and violence.

And who is fanning the flames of this racial hatred and violence? Oh well – look no further.

Via Twitchy, Obama made brief mention of Moore’s death before launching into his pre-planned narrative of the day: “Bashing the police.”

Chances are slim to none that he will send a contingent of White House officials to the fallen officer’s funeral – like he did for street thugs Michael Brown and Freddie Gray.

Obligatory boilerplate said with little emotion over 7:00 into his speech, after all the shout-outs. Obama has a tendency to speak out of both sides of his mouth in situations like this.

Here’s where the community organizer starts “feeling it.”

Heads up community. He’s in “organizer mode.”

Perhaps if Officer Moore and his partner had encouraged Demetrius Blackwell, instead of hassling him, Moore would still be alive, today.

It was the 400 years of oppression that made Blackwell do it.

The law is applied evenly. The problem is the law isn’t followed evenly. But a good community organizer knows he needs to “rub raw the resentments of the people.”  So that is exactly what this sorry excuse for a president does.

Obscene.

It’s going to be a long, hot, violent summer.

Rioting For Change in the Age of Obama

obamaodinga

In August and September 2006, then Senator Barack Obama traveled to South Africa, Chad, Djibouti, Ethiopia, and Kenya as a congressional delegation of one. While in Kenya, the Junior Senator from Illinois enthusiastically appeared at the side of his “cousin” Luo Raila Odinga who was then running for President on the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket. Odinga’s campaign theme was amazingly similar to Obama’s:  (“Your agent for change’)

obama-kenya-in01-wide-horizontal-jpg

Imagine a popular foreigner coming to America and campaigning for one of our candidates for president. Imagine the popular foreigner being openly critical of the administration currently in power.

Imagine further that the popular foreigner’s candidate was a ruthlessly ambitious pol with  financial ties to terrorists and a stated objective of dismantling the government’s anti-terror apparatus.  That’s what happened in 2006 when Senator Obama- celebrated in Kenya because of his African heritage – campaigned for Raila Odinga.

Obama’s vigorous politicking did not please everyone in Kenya.  A Kenyan Government spokesman, Alfred Matua, complained, “It is very clear that the senator has been used as a puppet to perpetuate opposition politics.” Mutua told AFP “we earlier thought he was mature in his assessment of Kenyan and African politics. We forgive him because it is his first time in the Senate and he is yet to mature into understanding issues of foreign policy.”

Odinga is the son of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, Kenya’s first vice-president. Oginga was a committed socialist who sent his son to Communist East Germany for college.

The younger Odinga named one of his sons Fidel Castro and has also admitted to being one of the masterminds of a 1982 attempted coup against Daniel arap Moi, Kenya’s second president.

Odinga also has links to Islamic extremists in Kenya.

According to Voice of America and the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya, on 8/29/07, Odinga signed a secret agreement (exposed 11/27) with Sheikh Abdullah Abdi of the National Muslim Leaders Forum (NAMLEF) in which he agreed to institute Islamic law in exchange for Abdi’s support (eakenya.org)—thereby potentially disenfranchising and curtailing the liberties of millions of Christian Kenyan women. Further, he promised that Muslims suspected of terrorism would be safe from extradition—thereby establishing a ‘safe haven’ for terrorists in Kenya.

After the public outcry, Odinga denied signing a secret agreement. Angry at Odinga’s apparent repudiation, a member of NAMLEF subsequently released the agreement to the press. Odinga then claimed the document was a forgery, but acknowledged a secret agreement had been signed in exchange for Muslim support.

Finally, under constant pressure, Odinga released what he claimed was the actual document (“Real” MOU) a considerably watered down version of the original; but still anathema to many Christian groups. “In response to the revelations, The Evangelical Alliance of Kenya released a statement in which church leaders said Raila, in both MOUs, ‘comes across as a presumptive Muslim president bent on forcing Islamic law, religion and culture down the throats of the Kenyan people in total disregard of the Constitutionally guaranteed rights of freedom of worship and equal protection of the law’”

While, the Kibaki government had been a leading supporter of the US’s efforts to dismantle Al-Qaeda cells in Kenya and elsewhere, Cousin Odinga made his opposition to the government’s crackdown of suspected Al Qaeda supporters a cornerstone of his campaign.

Odinga went on to lose the presidential election by a margin of only 230,000 votes. Raila disputed the sketchy results, alleging fraud

Raila and his ODM leaders called for mass action, leading to massive unrest and violence throughout the country.

His Luo supporters engaged in what US Envoy Jendayi Frazer called “clear ethnic cleansing.”

Much of the violence has pitted other tribes, including Odinga’s Luo, against Kibaki’s Kikuyu who are the largest ethnic group. Kikuyus have long been resented for their dominance of Kenya’s economy and politics, but poor Kikuyu are among the slum dwellers who have been left out of the country’s economic boom.

Frazer said the violence she saw during a visit earlier this month to the western Rift Valley pitted the Kalenjin, who support Odinga, against Kikuyus.

Kenya05-2

Odinga’s supporters went on a rampage—burning Kikuyu homes and businesses, while Odinga looked the other way. They raped Kikuyu women, and torched a church where up to 50 Christian Kikuyu woman & children were burned alive.

080101-kenya-church-hmed-140a.grid-6x2

Georgette Gagnon, acting Africa director for the New York based Human Rights Watch claimed to have evidence that ODM [Odinga’s party] politicians and local leaders actively fomented some of the post-election violence.”

Kenya02-2

After two months of  violent rioting that led to the death of about 1000 people and displacement of about 250,000, a deal was struck between Odinga and Kibaki, which included the creation of a power-sharing Prime Minister post for Odinga. Kenya’s “Agent for Change” was sworn in on April 17, 2008.

Raila_Odingo_170408

It was disturbing back in 2008 to watch these terrible events unfold, knowing that Senator Obama had stumped for the candidate whose loss had incited so much violence.

Today, as cities across the nation erupt in violence as a result of grand jury decisions Obama and his fellow travelers don’t like, it’s hard not to see parallels.

Odinga claimed that he and Obama spoke regularly on the phone – much like Obama has been in constant contact with his “advisor”  Al Sharpton who has been organizing nationwide protests.

images (1)

After Odinga lost the election and Kenya erupted into violence Obama reportedly had daily conversations with Odinga.  He even recorded a message for Kenya,  “calling for calm.”

Obama did the same thing, of course after the grand jury decision exonerating officer Wilson was announced and Ferguson was erupting into chaos

At no point did Obama try to distance himself from  Odinga. At no time did he try to distance himself from Sharpton. These are fellow “agents of change,” after all.

Odinga did finally get what he was asking for – the creation of a government post just for him.

And the racial grievance industry is getting the law enforcement reforms they’re asking for, as well.

“Change” has come to America, as promised.

Black New Yorker Has Had It Up To Here With the Race-Baiting BS – Scorches “White, Liberal Hippie Kids” Protesting the Deaths of “Criminals”

After another weekend of community organized arson, race-riots and loot-fests throughout the nation, I was sitting here at my computer trying to figure out what more can be said about the ongoing lunacy that I haven’t already said. There were riots, arson, and looting in Berkeley (where the morons actually torched the MLK building), and NYC (where “protester kits” are being provided for the special snow-flake protesters.”)

A massive fire that 250 firefighters battled in in Los Angeles, this morning, destroyed an apartment building under construction and damaged two adjacent structures. Arson is suspected.

In a call to the Opie and Anthony Show, last week, a black New Yorker expressed his deep disgust for what’s going on in this country in an epic rant for the ages.

“Ed from Queens” claimed to be bigger than Eric Garner, and noted that he himself has been stopped by the police for various traffic offenses (which he admitted he was guilty of committing) “several dozen times”,  and explained in Chris Rock-like fashion that nothing bad happened to him because he was respectful toward the police.

Via The Blaze:

Ed angrily bashed “white, liberal hippie kids” who are protesting the deaths of “criminals” and also alleged there’s a racial double standard when it comes to officers killing “white kids.”

“What bothers me more than anything, as a black male, is being represented by pieces of s**t like Al Sharpton, and having white liberal hippie kids trying to shout, ‘black lives matter.’ But the thing about is, they are completely glossing over the fact that these people are criminals,” the caller said.

He continued: “And they never, ever talk about all the white cops that are shooting white kids. Have you even heard of Christopher Roupe?”

Roupe, 17, was fatally shot by a female officer after she mistook the Wii remote in his hand for a firearm. A grand jury later determined that the officer did not use authorized force when she shot the teen.

This man speaks for majority of Americans who are watching this racialist garbage at home, and shaking their heads sadly, (or fuming and swearing up a storm like the caller.)

Listener advisory: Strong language and F-bombs galore. Very cathartic.

Thanks to Ed from Queens for relieving me of the burden of having to address this bullcrap. today.

The video shows the massive Garner loudly telling two undercover officers that he does not want to be arrested for selling black market cigarettes. Garner, 43, had been arrested more than thirty times previously on charges including assault and resisting arrest. He had also been arrested several times previously for selling unlicensed cigarettes and was out on bail when arrested.

Knowing this, the officers appear to fence with Garner while they wait for back-up to arrive. They are also well aware that an unfriendly witness is shooting video. Given the edits in the video, it is impossible to tell how long they waited, but it was at least a few minutes. Finally, Pantaleo, an eight-year veteran, attempts to grab Garner’s arm to handcuff him, and Garner throws him off. “Don’t touch me,” he shouts.

At this point, Pantaleo, who is about a half a foot shorter and 200 pounds lighter than Garner, leaps up and puts Garner in a headlock. According to Police Benevolent Association President Pat Lynch, Pantaleo did “nothing more than take Mr. Garner into custody as instructed.” He did so using “the take-down technique that he learned in the academy.” The classic chokehold, the kind featured in the Spike Lee movie Do the Right Thing, is intended to cause a struggling perp to lose consciousness.

Pantaleo’s goal is to take Garner down, which he does with some success. He keeps him in that hold for about fifteen seconds. Had Garner not health problems — obesity, advanced diabetes, heart disease and asthma — he likely would not have been hurt.  There were 228,000 misdemeanor arrests in New York City in 2013. No others ended in this fashion.
