New O’Keefe Video Catches University Officials in FL Approving Student Club Devoted to Raising Money for ISIS

Over the weekend, James O’Keefe promised that his next video would “crush” his  Cornell University investigation where a Cornell Dean advised Project Veritas undercover investigators posing as students, on how to form an ISIS club.

He was right.

So many layers of scandal, here. First of all – administrators at a CATHOLIC University in Florida are willing to assist a Pro-ISIS group that plans to send shipments of supplies to their genocidal terror army? The very Jihadists who are currently engaging in mass slaughters against Middle East Christians?

And they even agree to let the students cloak their activities with a non-terror supporting name to avoid sounding pro-terrorist? Are you kidding me?

Hidden camera footage released Monday morning shows officials and faculty at Barry University advising a senior – identified only as ‘Laura’ – about the best way to secure funding for a club she called ‘Sympathetic Students in Support of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.’

‘I want to start fundraising efforts on campus, and what I want to do is raise funds to send overseas,’ she told Derek Bley, the school’s Coordinator for Leadership Development and Student Organizations.

Bley offered to help her create the organization and agreed with her request to ‘pass out Islamic State flags and educate people’ at an annual student ‘Festival of Nations’ fair.

“It is disturbing to see our nation’s university system festooned with professors and administrators that are sympathetic to ISIS,” stated James O’Keefe, President of Project Veritas. “First, we saw this horrifying support at Cornell University and now we have numerous officials at Barry taking things even further. As demonstrated at Cornell and Barry, our nation’s university system is being overrun by those who subscribe to ivory-tower political correctness and that is truly dangerous to our nation and our nation’s students. It is time to stop looking the other way and address this very serious issue.”

It is beyond disturbing. What we witnessed here is a complete collapse of common sense and human decency and it’s absolutely inexcusable.

The first step toward reforming the diseased culture on American campuses, is to shine a spotlight on it – which O’Keefe has aptly done in his last two videos. You can thank him, here.

Project Veritas Investigates “Shakedown” Sharpton: He’s All About The $$$

Conservative Muckraker, James O’Keefe of Project Veritas has been promoting his latest investigation – which he declared in an email has left him in fear for his life.

O’Keefe says his investigative team spent months in the field investigating protests in New York, Florida, and Ferguson, MO.

Our investigation started with Mayor Bill de Blasio and his vilification of the cops . . . you’ll never guess what happened next.

I sent my team into the thick of the protests and near riots in New York. They stood next to young and angry citizens raising their hands and screaming “I can’t breathe.” As the dust settled, we found that nearly all of them were stirred to action on false pretenses and to the financial benefit of their agitators.

This led our investigation to Ferguson, Missouri and ultimately to the top echelons of power.

Unlike any other story I’ve unearthed in my career, I have never had the eerie feeling that is now burning in my gut. You see, the target of this video is in Obama’s inner circle. That should give you a good idea about the gravity of this story.

Late Monday night, O’Keefe posted his video at Project Veritas website and  the website went down shortly after the posting of his video.

One of O’Keefe’s investigators poses as a Garner supporter with a hidden camera during a protest last month at the St. George Ferry Terminal on Staten Island.

“You think Al Sharpton is kind of like a crook in a sense?” the investigator is heard asking Garner’s oldest daughter.

“He’s about this,” Snipes replies, rubbing her fingers together.

“He’s about money with you?” the undercover asks.

“Yeah,” Snipes responds.

Snipes, 24, also complained that the Staten Island director of Sharpton’s National Action Network, Cynthia Davis, scolded her for handing out street fliers about her father’s case that did not include NAN’s logo.

“She started attacking me. ‘Oh, I see that you got this flier out, how come you didn’t add the logo?’ ’’ Snipes said.

The undercover then asks, “They want their logo on your fliers?”

“Instead of me, he wants his face in front,” Snipes says, referring to Sharpton

“But it’s not about them, it’s about your dad,” the undercover says.

“Exactly,” Snipes responds.

The “unembarrassable” Sharpton told the NY Post, that the Project Veritas is guilty of deceptive editing.

“They’re splicing and dicing stuff together. It was a distortion. Erica is a sincere victim. She was not trying to infer anything with me,” Sharpton said of the secret recording.

Obviously, it’s not exactly earth-shattering news that people think Al Sharpton is a race hustler and shakedown artist. But it is somewhat revealing that even the people he has supposedly “helped” feel that way.

I suspect more from the investigation is coming – because I didn’t see anything here that would justify O’Keefe’s fear for his life.

Video: Project Veritas Exposes Holder’s Civil Rights Division’s Record of “Grotesque” Misconduct

Project Veritas Action today released a video exposing the “grotesque” prosecutorial misconduct of the U.S. Department of Justice and their Civil Rights Division following James O’Keefe’s arrest five years ago for conducting a sting operation in Mary Landrieu’s office in New Orleans.

O’Keefe says, “they threw the book at me despite no crime being committed . . . not even intent.”

The prosecutors in the case, with close ties to Sen. Landrieu, were later found to have committed prosecutorial misconduct in other cases by publishing anonymous online commentary about federal probe targets.

Two of my prosecutors, Jan Mann, a classmate of Mary Landrieu, and Sal Perricone were both barred from practicing in federal court in Baton Rouge due to their conduct.

Former U.S. Attorney, Jim Letten, resigned in the scandal. He was the longest serving U.S. Attorney in the nation. Letten had recused himself in my case, however, as you’ll see in the video released today, he also had a chance to literally, throw the book at me.

As it turns out, Project Veritas Action investigators uncovered two weeks ago that these same prosecutors had been posting anonymous online commentary in my own case!

Today, I’ll be filing several complaints, you can see them here, BUT, this isn’t about me.

Right now, our nation is being torn across racial lines due to the cases of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and Eric Garner in Staten Island, New York.

Eric Holder has announced investigations by the Civil Rights Division in both of those cases.

Regardless of your thoughts on those cases, we’re announcing today that the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division should recuse itself from investigating those cases.

A veteran attorney in the Civil Rights Division, Karla Dobinski, was yet ANOTHER attorney who had committed “grotesque” prosecutorial misconduct that led to convictions of law enforcement officers.

Get this, Dobinski, was the leader of the “Taint Team” a component of the Civil Rights Division that was tasked polluting the public atmosphere on their active cases against cops.

She’s now part of the team investigating Ferguson and New York.

 

The same division, and even the attorney involved in past misconduct, is now investigating the cases of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

O’Keefe also shared via email a disturbing vignette about being harassed by the TSA, last night.

But thanks to the fun folks at the TSA at JFK International, I spent 45 minutes officially detained as they searched my bags and “interviewed” me. When I asked to call family to let them know I would be late, I was told to put my phone down and an agent barked, “you’re under our control now.”

Even better, when they asked what I do for a living, I explained I was a journalist that investigates government corruption. They actually laughed at me.

I know I’m not alone in my experience with the TSA, but it really sets the tone for what I’m releasing today. Power . . . corruption . . . arrogance.

I’ve driven from Kansas City to Florida to avoid the hassle and imposition of the TSA screening process because under the Obama administration’s direction, conservative activists can expect to be groped and even detained, even while screening for actual terrorists has been relaxed.

Counting the days until this abominable Regime is out of power.

No surprises here. Any Democrat who tells you actual voter fraud is rare – is either a lo-info drone, or lying to your face. Democrats and voter fraud go together like peaches and cream and have since the days of Tammany Hall.

John Fund reported on the latest Project Veritas investigation at National Review:

Many liberals are adamant there is no threat of voter fraud that justifies efforts to improve the integrity of elections. “There is no real concrete evidence of voter fraud,” tweeted Donna Brazile, former acting chair of the Democratic National Committee, this week. “It’s a big ass lie.”

James O’Keefe, the guerilla filmmaker who brought down the ACORN voter-registration fraudsters in 2010 and forced the resignation of NPR executives, politely disagrees. Today, he is releasing some new undercover footage that raises disturbing questions about ballot integrity in Colorado, the site of fiercely contested races for the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House, and the governorship. When he raised the issue of filling out some of the unused ballots that are mailed to every household in the state this month, he was told by Meredith Hicks, the director of Work for Progress, a liberal group funded by Democratic Super PACS.: “That is not even like lying or something, if someone throws out a ballot, like if you want to fill it out you should do it.” She then brazenly offered O’Keefe, disguised as a middle-aged college instructor, a job with her group.

 

Lefties, are of course wailing and gnashing their teeth over this latest O’Keefe sting. Mother Jones lowlife David Corn is trying to discredit the results on Twitter, but does have  a point about one thing.

Apparently, O’Keefe tried the same shtick with some Dem staffers but was rebuffed. Mother Jones had a write-up about that a couple of days ago in preparation for the release of the sting video. One of the staffers even took a picture of O’Keefe in his fake mustache allowing people to have a sneak peek.

It’s not surprising that Democrat staffers are not so careless that they would allow themselves to get caught on video supporting voter fraud. They let their community organizers handle that part of the criminal enterprise. It is a little surprising and disappointing that that fact wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the O’Keefe’s video.

This excuse doesn’t really cut it:

Project Veritas: Part Two Of Hollywood’s War on US Energy Independence

Presenting part two of the Project Veritas investigation of Hollywood celebrities and dealmakers and how they fund their anti-fracking propaganda.

The much-anticipated sequel includes a cameo appearance from Oscar-winning actress and outspoken activist Susan Sarandon, and features Chris Talbott, a 20-year member of Sarandon’s team and a Documentary Fellow of the Sundance Film Program.

In the video, three undercover video journalists posing as “Muhammed” (the Middle Eastern oil baron), “Brandon,” and “Steven” (the advertising executives) meet with Sarandon. Sarandon refers “Muhammed” to Chris Talbott, her Activism Manager and one of the producers of her Oscar-winning film “Dead Man Walking.”

With the introduction made by Sarandon, the video journalists posing as “Muhammed” and “Steven” meet with Talbott a week later. The meeting was caught on tape. Talbott confirms to “Muhammed” that he “told Susan we were meeting today” and that he “speaks with Susan or her assistant every day.”

Once again, similar to the investigative report of Academy Awards Governor Ed Begley Jr., Actress Mariel Hemingway, and Environmental Filmmaker Josh Tickell, the offer is made for millions of funding for an environmental documentary aimed at ending domestic natural gas production in the US.

Once again, “Muhammed” seemingly finds a willing recipient of the money — even after clearly stating that his goal is to use environmentalist propaganda to undermine fracking and destroy American energy independence. The stated motive: Profit for his family’s oil empire.

Project Veritas founder and president, James O’Keefe, stated Wednesday:

“This latest investigation proves that the Tickell-Begley-Hemingway deal-making was not an isolated incident. The Hollywood environmentalist left is willing to take money from explicitly anti-American interests to fund their movies. The American people deserve to know the truth about how movies are made and the lengths Hollywood will go to undermine American energy independence and national security.”

Impishly hinting that more is to come, O’Keefe noted: “Of course, the best film franchises are usually trilogies.”

Senator Vitter Slams Hollywood Environmentalist-Wackos: “This Time, The Joke Is On Them”

Sounds good to us, Mohammed!

A couple days after James O’Keefe’s blockbuster video on Hollywood enviro-corruption and hypocrisy, U.S. Senator David Vitter (R – LA), the top Republican on the Senate oversight committee on Environment, issued a press release about our video and the cover up using NGOs, nonprofits to influence election.. released a blistering statement attacking the Hollywood environmentalist-wackos in Project Veritas’ undercover investigation:

“We know there’s clear collusion between the Obama Administration, the EPA and far-left environmentalists, including the Hollywood elite, to pursue an anti-domestic energy production agenda. Thankfully, this time the joke is on them because their agenda has not been a joke for America’s middle class workforce and our economy.”

OKeefe gets results. Vitter’s statement demonstrates that the U.S. Senate is taking this cover up seriously – and thinks there might be some collusion involved with the Obama administration.

Meanwhile, these phony crackpots are threatening legal action against O’Keefe and he needs help with legal fees.

What I can tell you is that Hollywood is furious and they want this video banned. Mariel Hemingway, one of the targets of our investigation, had her lawyer threaten me. I need your immediate help!

O’Keefe says, “rest assured, our undercover investigation was fully legal, but that hasn’t stopped these celebrities from threatening Project Veritas and me.”
