Thousands of Tea Partiers Gather In Washington DC For #AuditTheIRS Rally

Thousands of tea partiers have already gathered on the US Capitol West lawn for today’s Audit the IRS tea party. See Gateway Pundit or the Tea Party Patriots or The Dana Show for live streaming video.

Hoft is now estimating the crowd to be close to 10,000.

Capitol Hill police are trying to block activists attending Wednesday’s “Audit the IRS” rally from also attending a nearly day-long press conference on immigration, hosted by Reps. Steve King and Louie Gohmert. The IRS rally is on the west side of the Capitol, while the immigration event is on the east side. Organizers for the IRS event were told by Hill police that “your people” can only assemble on the west side. Organizers were told to remove the activists from the immigration event.

Capitol Hill police left a voicemail for Kevin Mooneyhan, Deputy Executive Director of Tea Party Patriots, saying that “your people” only are permitted to assemble for the event on the west side of the Capitol. The activists’ presence at the immigration event on the east side, supposedly violates the terms of the Tea Party’s permit. Mooneyhan was instructed to move any activists who planned on attending the Tea Party rally away from the immigration event.

The Inspector General of the Treasury will be a very busy man indeed this year. According to CNN, the IG will launch an investigation to determine how a DHS whistleblower ended up on the IRS’ audit list after testifying before Congress. P. Jeffrey Black tried to fix problems in the federal air marshal service, but had IRS agents at his door the day he appeared in a documentary criticizing the Obama administration’s air security efforts:

Conservative Groups Testify on IRS Scrutiny

Groups that were targeted by the IRS for extra scrutany are testifying before the House Ways and Means Committee, this morning. This is the fifth Congressional hearing on the targeting of conservative groups by the IRS. You can watch it streaming live at CSPAN.

Michelle Dimarob, Senior Advisor-Public Affairs and Coalition, who helped organize the witnesses for the hearing, said Democrats were offered to invite a witness to the hearing but declined. The reason for this is because no liberal groups were discriminated against.

Listening so far – these are very compelling and sympathetic witnesses – ordinary, decent, patriotic Americans who were given the shaft by a hateful, vengeful, hyper-politicized Obama Regime.

Becky Gerritson fought tears as she described the shock she felt at how the government treated her organization – the Wetumpka Tea Party.

As Twitchy reported, President Obama gave a statement on judicial nominees this morning. Oh-so-coincidentally, it occurred during a hearing on the IRS’ targeting of conservative groups. Weird!

On very short notice, and with very little organization, other than hearing about it on the radio, or online, tea partiers across the nation gathered at their IRS offices to protest the targeted  abusive treatment conservatives have received from what increasingly appears to have operated as branch of Obama’s thug regime.

One of the bigger protests was in Cincinnati, Ground Zero for the IRS scandal. According to attendees on Twitter, the crowd swelled to around 500.

Dingy Harry’s Verbal Diarrhea Continues to Appall – Now He’s Calling Tea Partiers The Real Anarchists

How is it possible that the Majority Leader of the Senate in the United States of America sounds like such a blithering idiot? How in God’s name did this man get elected? How do the people of Nevada not notice his  glaringly obvious stupidity?

About a week ago, Dingy likened the Tea Party to Anarchists, saying “government is not inherently bad; government is inherently good”

We have a situation where this country has been driven by the Tea Party for the last number of years. When I was in school, I studied government and I learned about the anarchists. Now, they were different than the Tea Party because they were violent. But they were anarchists because they did not believe in government in any level and they acknowledged it. The Tea Party kind of hides that.

They don’t say they’re against government, but that is what it all amounts to. They’re not doing physically destructive things to buildings and people, directly, but they are doing everything they can to throw a monkey-wrench into every form of government, whether it’s local, state or federal. That’s what it’s all about. And so, anything they can do to through a monkey-wrench in the wheels of government, they’re happy doing that. And I’m sorry to say that my friend from Oklahoma is helping them. Maybe not directly, but indirectly, and that’s wrong. Government is not inherently bad; government is inherently good. That’s why we have a Constitution and that’s what we direct the activities of this government based upon. (Senate Floor, April 23, 2013)

After Wednesday’s May Day riots, Harry Reid went on The Rusty Humphries radio show and doubled down on the stupid, telling the conservative host that tea party members are the real anarchists.

Rusty Humphries: Do you think the Tea Party are anarchists? That we don’t want any government at all?

Harry Reid: “My experience with the Tea Party is they are against government in any form. They throw monkey wrenches in government. It’s evident, we can’t get things done. They don’t want anything to happen in government.”

It wasn’t too long ago that Dingy was invoking the violent and anarchist-driven Occupy movement on the Senate floor to attack Republicans, whom he charged only cared about “the 1%”.

“In recent days, Republicans showed new interest in the gulf between rich and poor that has motivated thousands to occupy parks across the country and make their voices heard. Apparently they believe the staggering income inequality makes a good talking point,” Reid said on the Senate floor. “While Democrats fight for jobs for the middle class, Republicans fight for tax breaks for the 1 percent of Americans who don’t need our help.”

Shhhh….don’t anyone tell Dingy that Anarchist organizer Lisa Fithian is one of the top organizers of  his darling Occupy movement, and that  Tea Party and Occupy  couldn’t be any more different from each other.  It’s obviously too nuanced a concept for his tiny pea sized brain to grasp that the tea party’s support for good government and limited government is not the same thing as supporting NO government. Or maybe he does know the difference but he is just cynically (albeit awkwardly and stupidly) demonizing the tea party because he feels the need to push the Regime’s “right wing extremist” narrative.

Whatever. Just shut up Harry. Let the smarter commies do the talking.
