New Benghazi Documents Smoking Gun Proof Of Cold Blooded Lies and Cover-up (Video)

Special Report took on the explosive Judicial Watch document release on Benghazi Tuesday night.

Former Bush Press Sec. Dana Perino and Charles Lane of the Washington Post had far too much sympathy for Benjamin Rhodes, who they suggested was only acting on the orders of a superior. (Valerie Jarrett, one supposes.) I have no doubt that Rhodes, the entire communications team, and Susan Rice knew that they were disseminating lies. None of it was ever believable, but they got the  media to pass it along to the masses with a degree of credibility it didn’t deserve – while attacking Mitt Romney for questioning it.

Pay special attention to the Jay Carney clip at the beginning of the segment.  He was knowingly peddling lies about Benghazi and attacking Fox for spreading false information from day one. We now know he was in on the deception because the Rhodes email went to the entire WH communications team.

“It has been repeatedly said by some of the critics on this issue on the Hill that the White House provided talking points. That has been categorically refuted not just by us but by the intelligence community, and yet it’s still periodically said on the air. And it’s just wrong,” Carney lied in November of 2012.

In May of 2013, Carney lied, “the White House involvement in any changes that were made to the so-called talking points were extremely minimal and non-substantive.”

This man has earned – more than any other WH  Press Secretary in American history – the moniker given to him by Darrell Issa – Obama’s “Paid Liar.” I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I don’t know how the man can stand looking at himself in the mirror every day.

But he’s only following the lead of the Liar-In Chief: “The whole issue of talking points throughout this whole process has frankly been a sideshow,” Obama lied in May of 2013. Liars like Obama use the word “frankly” to mean – “I’m not even be remotely transparent, here.”

The documents released by Judicial Watch are smoking gun proof that these public servants knowingly lied to the American people about a national security issue to cover their own corrupt behinds. If this isn’t an impeachable offense – I don’t know what is.

Charles Krauthammer said, “I find the most scandalous element of this – from purely just a human point of view, is the fact that the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton – with the bodies of the dead lying in front of her, and with the families there,  brought up the video – a video in which we had nothing to do….  and then according to one of the family members, when she went over to console that family member and said, that we were going to get the guy who made the video. Now that to me – if she knew that was a phony story – and I’m not sure I understand how it could be otherwise – is a form of deception that I think is truly scandalous.”

Bryan Preston has a better handle on Rhodes than Pirino and Lane:

…It’s well to remember at this point who Ben Rhodes is. According to the White House, he is assistant to the president and deputy national security adviser for strategic communications and speechwriting. That sounds nice, but he has no career in the military or intelligence. Rhodes is a career partisan Democrat and Obama loyalist who was put on the National Security Council because he is a loyalist to the man. Not the nation. Or the facts on the ground in Libya or anywhere else. Rhodes’ loyalty belongs to Barack Obama.
He needs to be compelled to testify under oath about all this.

Yes, and contrary to popular belief *cough* Charles Krauthammer *cough* – the Benghazi issue is not dead. The clock is still ticking… and Hillary’s 2016 run for the White House is in grave peril. Democrats may have to make due with Elizabeth Fauxcahontas Warren.

Via Doug Ross, this latest revelation is, in Roger L. Simon’s opinion, the lynchpin for an impeachment trial.

The levels of criminality involved in this are mind-boggling. Everyone from Ben Rhodes to Hillary Clinton to Jay Carney to Susan Rice to Mike Morell to Barack Obama and on and on must explain themselves minute-by-minute. American “liberals” and their media consorts should search their souls. People died here…

…Anyone who now considers Benghazi a “fake scandal” is a either a complete liar or a moron. This new release of emails thanks to Judicial Watch is literally a call to arms. We will now see if there is even a figment of honesty in our mainstream media and if our elected representatives are to be trusted in any way.

It is our duty as citizens to put as pressure on those representatives as possible to carry through this investigation to its natural conclusion — impeachment.

In light of this discovery, will the Speaker of the House, John Boehner, finally name a Select Committee on Benghazi?

Will Darrell “Inspector Clouseau” Issa explain why a watchdog group like Judicial Watch — and not his unfocused and possibly incompetent Oversight Committee — is doing all of the heavy lifting in this investigation?

Will the media finally admit that they are co-conspirators in the cover-up?

What they were covering up via AIM’s Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi Releases Interim Report:

Accuracy in Media and the CCB held a press briefing on Tuesday, April 22nd at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. to release and discuss the Interim Report. Attendees included CNN, The Daily Mail, Fox News, The Washington Free Beacon, World Magazine, WorldNetDaily, and The Daily Caller.

The key findings in the report include that

  • Muammar Qaddafi expressed his willingness to abdicate shortly after the beginning of the 2011 Libyan revolt, but the U.S. ignored his calls for a truce, which led to extensive loss of life (including four Americans), chaos, and detrimental outcomes for U.S. national security objectives across the region.
  • The U.S. facilitated the delivery of weapons and military support to al Qa’eda-linked rebels in Libya.
  • On the day of the attacks in Benghazi, whether or not there was an official order to stand down, the result was the same. There were military assets, for example, at the U.S. base in Sigonella, in Sicily, Italy that could have been brought to bear, and perhaps could have saved the lives of the two men killed at the CIA Annex, the scene of the second attack that night. The failure to attempt to rescue these Americans amounts to a dereliction of duty.
  • Previous investigations have been ineffective as the cover-up of Benghazi continues at all levels of government, prompting the need for a Select Committee with the power of subpoena to investigate this tragedy and compel testimony under oath outside the five-minute rule imposed on Congressional members by the current investigative structure.
  • America needs Congress to form a Select Committee to uncover the facts about Benghazi that remain unavailable to the public, and are obscured by the five-minute rule imposed upon Members of Congress.

Sharyl Attkisson reports:

Changed classification?

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) told me today that the government apparently tried to keep the Rhodes email out of Congress and the public’s hands by classifying it after-the-fact.

“They retroactively changed the classification,” Chaffetz says. “That was an unclassified document and they changed it to classified.”

In the past month, the government has supplied 3,200 new Benghazi-related documents under Congressional subpoena. In some instances, Congressional members and their staff are only permitted to see the documents during certain time periods in a review room, and cannot remove them or make copies.

Chaffetz says that the State Department redacted more material on the copies provided to Congress than on those that it was forced to provide to JudicialWatch.

One of the most heavily-redacted email exchanges is entitled, “FOX News: US officials knew Libya attack was terrorism within 24 hours, sources confirm.” The Fox News article was circulated among dozens of officials including Rhodes and then-Deputy National Security Advisor Denis McDonough but the content of their email discussion is hidden.

“Topline Points”

An internal document provided by the State Department dated Sept. 14, 2012 is titled, “Topline Points” and poses answers to a series of questions apparently in preparation for the briefing to be provided to Ambassador Rice prior to her talk show appearances. The document fails to mention terrorism, although it had been repeated throughout the early versions of the talking points, and many government officials have said that they had already concluded by that time that terrorism was to blame.

“What’s your response to the Independent story that says we have intelligence 48 hours in advance of the Benghazi attack that was ignored?” is one question posed in the briefing memo. The suggested answer:  “This story is absolutely wrong. We are not aware of any actionable intelligence indicating that an attack on the U.S. mission was planned or imminent. We also see indications that this action was related to the video that has sparked protests in other countries.”

But the final sentence to the answer is expanded and developed in the “PREP CALL with Susan” email from Rhodes at 8:09pm on Friday, September 14, 2012. It adds the phrase “spontaneously inspired” and also refers to the attack as “demonstrations” that “evolved.”

“The currently available information suggests that the demonstrations in Benghazi were spontaneously inspired by the protests at the US Embassy in Cairo and evolved into a direct assault against the U.S. Consulate and subsequently its annex,” reads the Friday night email from Rhodes to White House press officials.

Obama administration officials have insisted they were acting on “the best intelligence available at the time” and that they clarified the story as they got more information.

But taken as a whole, the documents and testimony revealed since the attacks support the idea that the administration’s avoidance of the word “terrorism” was a strategy rather than an accident or mistake.

Video: Female “Attorney” Tangles With PJTV’s Zo at Dem Lawmaker’s Meet & Greet

PJTV’s Alfonzo Rachel attended his California Assemblyman’s Meet & Greet, only to get attacked and harassed by a woman who claimed to be an attorney, and who thought there was probable cause to sic the cops on him for videotaping at a public event.

Meanwhile, Zo says, “Democrat Al Muratsuchi shows his true hypocritical self.”

Just another example of how liberals like Al are not tolerant of things, but want to make it a law for others to be tolerant of the things they wouldn’t tolerate.

But, believe me the real star of this video is the bipolar coffee woman, who smiles sweetly, “I thought this was a coffee with Al Muratsuchi – is it a debate?”  Then without missing a beat, she turns to Zo, ferociously paws at him and hisses, “please! You do not have a right to photograph me. You have no right whatsoever.”

To which Zo replies, “just like you don’t have the right to touch me. You hypocrite.”

Then it gets interesting. Watch this crone who really exemplifies everything that is wrong with the Democrat party today – and that is saying a lot – attempt to bully and intimidate Zo.

(Whatever you do – do not freeze the frame at 5:47 – I’m begging you – just don’t.)

“Do As I Say…” Obama’s Most Hypocritical Moments (Video)

Fox & Friends highlighted 3 of Obama’s hypocritical moments – executive orders, lobbyists, and lastly golfing while in California for the drought.

On the campaign trail Obama criticized Bush 43 for the use executive orders, yet Obama bragged about how he has a pen and phone and will take action unilaterally. On the issue of lobbysists, Obama said that they will not be able to use the revolving door at the White House to cash in. And yet there are 395 former lobbyists in the Obama Administration including 136 current ones. Oh yeah how about golfing in California on courses that are able to stay green with water while farmers are suffering the worst drought in decades.

As I’ve stated many times, before. It wasn’t hard to figure out that this man was a pathological liar. I started tracking the alarming number of bold-faced lies and flip flops coming from “the Obamessiah” in the Spring of 2008, as I also tracked the bizarre cult of personality that surrounded him. I kept it up until it became too burdensome a task to keep track of every one of the man’s ridiculous deceits. By mid September, it had become clear that the electorate was (very stupidly) going to blame the Democrat-caused financial crisis of 2007-2008 on Republicans. Obama is a narcissistic manipulator who tells tall tales because he has a compliant media who lets him get away with it. He is guilty of massive fraud on ObamaCare alone. Yes, media fact checkers (who want to retain some modicum of self-respect) will point on some of the more egregious lies. To be absolutely clear –  if a Republican president were guilty of even half of what this president has gotten away with – the media uproar would have led to his impeachment, a long time ago. It’s not surprising that corrupt congressional Democrats support a corrupt, dishonest Democrat President. And it’s not surprising that a corrupt Democrat media complex supports a corrupt, dishonest Democrat president. What is surprising and disappointing is that there are still so many Americans who continue to support a corrupt, dishonest president who is so obviously harming the country. Rusty Weiss, of the Mental Recession, asks: Is America In an Abusive Relationship With the President?

The President pushed through his healthcare agenda, despite strong opposition.  He promised us safety, but when we wanted our own security system by securing our borders, Obama and his friends fought to prevent it.  He was showering America with gifts … using her own money. When we questioned the wasteful spending, he told us it was for our long term benefit, and raided $787 billion of our savings.  And when the economy failed to recover in any manner during his first term, we started seeing classic signs of an abusive relationship. Psychology Today examines several signs that you’re dating an abuser – signs which America should have easily picked up on in 2008, and most certainly should have identified in 2012. Here are 5 of those warning signs…

Jonathan Karl Asks Carney:Didn’t Obama Prejudge DOJ Investigation Of IRS When He Said ‘Not a Smidgen of Corruption’

I blogged about this at The Conversation earlier, today: President Declares ‘Not a Smidgen’ of Corruption in IRS Scandal Despite Ongoing DOJ Investigation:

White House Dossier’s Keith Koffler brings up another thing from the Obama/O’Reilly interview more people should be talking about – Obama’s total dismissal of the IRS scandal as a big Fox News driven nothingburger with “not a smidgen” of corruption involved – was articulated while there’s still an active investigation going on!

I can’t think of a better example of Chicagoland politics than to signal to your investigators how the probe is supposed to turn out. Now, Justice Department officials have their marching orders. And anyone who uncovers a “smidgeon” of corruption will have to worry about making the boss look like a liar or a fool, not to mention worrying about their employment status.

Actually, the fix has been so in with the DOJ sham IRS “investigation”, I don’t think we have to worry about any officials worrying about making their boss look bad.

The boss, by the way, did the same thing during his softball interview with Chrissy Matthews on MSNBC, back in December.

Kudos to Jonathan Karl for catching this. Bill O’Reilly admitted on his show just now that he missed it.

Karl asked, “Jay, in the president’s interview with Bill O’Reilly, last night, he said that there was not even a smidgen of corruption regarding IRS targeting of conservative groups. Did the president misspeak?”

Carney, scoffing, answered, “no he didn’t.” And then demonstrating that he was anticipating an question about Obama’s dismissal of the IRS scandal, he arrogantly went on, “but I can cite I think I have about 20 different news organizations that cite the variety of ways that  was established including by the independent  IG….etc etc bs bs bs…” and read from a prepared script about how it has been so concretely established

But before he could finish talking, Karl threw him the curve ball he wasn’t expecting: “Jay, he said there wasn’t a smidgen of corruption – nothing about some qualifier about being outside the IRS, and there’s an active Justice Department investigation – unless it’s been concluded without anyone telling the news media – I mean – there’s an active Justice Dept. investigation – doesn’t the president prejudge that investigation?  To which Carney could only mumble in response, “what we have learned through the independent Inspector General and through the testimony that we’ve seen, completely backs up what the president said.” He went on to say that “a lot of that has been very good reported on by various news organizations” ( which he makes sure to sneer), some people might have missed.” One wonders what they hell he’s talking about. Daily Kos, Huffpo, PMSNBC? The Oversight investigation into the scandal isn’t over,  although the Regime has been stonewalling their investigation. They’ve found evidence that it goes to the White House.  Lois Lerner pled the fifth.

“So the Justice should just pull the plug on this investigation?” Karl pressed.  Carney shot back, “obviously we don’t interfere with a Justice Dept. investigation.”

A favorite Carney ploy is to use peer pressure against reporters who ask tough questions. “Hey dummy, everyone in this room knows the IRS scandal is over, except you. ”

I’m so glad Karl isn’t intimidated by it. He keeps coming back with more headaches for Carney.

Fast and Furious President Blames U.S. For Gun Violence In Mexico

USA-OBAMA-MEXICO

Image via The Washington Post

Two and a half years after one of his administration’s Fast and Furious guns killed border patrol agent, Brian Terry, and even as the guns continue to kill Mexican citizens, Obama used his trip to Mexico as a pretext to push for gun control, blaming our lax gun laws for gun violence in Mexico.

No one ever accused him of lacking in audacity.

“Most of the guns used to commit violence here in Mexico come from the United States,” President Obama said during a speech at Mexico’s Anthropology Museum. “I think many of you know that in America, our Constitution guarantees our individual right to bear arms. And as president, I swore an oath to uphold that right, and I always will.”

“But at the same time, as I’ve said in the United States, I will continue to do everything in my power to pass common-sense reforms that keep guns out of the hands of criminals and dangerous people. That can save lives here in Mexico and back home in the United States. It’s the right thing to do,” Obama added.

Watch the video at RCP.

Are we all supposed to have forgotten about his crooked administration’s Fast and Furious gun running scheme, already? Really?

Well, I haven’t forgotten, and if this president is going to be brazen enough to go to Mexico and blame the US for their gun violence, I’m happy to remind people.

Sharyl Attkisson of CBS reported in December on one of the latest Fast and Furious gun seizures.

Another weapon from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agency’s controversial Operation Fast and Furious was recently recovered at a Mexican crime scene, CBS News has learned. Congressional investigators say the crime scene was likely where a recent shootout took place between reported Sinaloa drug cartel members and the Mexican military, in which Sinaloa beauty queen Maria Susana Flores Gamez and four others were killed.

According to Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, the Justice Department did not notify Congress of the Fast and Furious firearm recovery in November, even though Grassley has requested an accounting of weapons that surface from the case. During Fast and Furious, ATF allowed more than 2,000 weapons, including giant .50-caliber guns, to fall into the hands of Mexican drug cartels and other criminals. Other so-called “gunwalking” operations by ATF let hundreds more guns hit the street. Most of them have never been recovered.

Mexican beauty queen killed in shootout

The latest known recovery is a Romanian AK-47-type WASR-10 rifle. It was picked up at a crime scene Nov. 23 in Ciudad Guamuchil, Sinaloa, Mexico. That’s the same area and weekend of the shootout involving Flores Gamez’s death. A trace report shows the rifle was purchased by Uriel Patino, the Fast and Furious suspect who allegedly bought more than 700 weapons while under ATF’s watch.

Here’s a common sense reform that I think could go a long way toward keeping guns out of the hands of criminals and dangerous people.

Video: Hannity and Brent Bozell Discuss Media Hypocrisy Re Left-wing Cop Killer Chris Dorner

Californians are turning in for the night knowing that a homicidal maniac is on the loose. Under normal circumstances, during normal times, that would be all anyone needed to know. But in today’s hyper-political environment, it’s become necessary to point out the political affiliations of every madman in the news because of the media double standard and hypocrisy.

Because we know that if former LAPD officer, Chris Dorner were a Republican, the left-wing media complex would be all over it. If we didn’t know what his political affiliations were (hard left), the media would be pointing fingers at the right because after all, he’s a disgruntled veteran and former cop – heck –  he fits the profile of a right-wing domestic terrorist. If it were not known beyond a shadow of a doubt that this guy is a huge Obama supporter, the left would be blaming his murderous rampage on the right.

Via Mediaite: Hannity: If Chris Dorner Liked Conservative Hosts Instead Of Liberal Ones, The Media Would Go Nuts:

2/7/13 – The manifesto written by murder suspect and LAPD office Chris Dorner contains some bizarre ramblings about how much Dorner loves media personalities like Chris Matthews, Piers Morgan, and Ellen DeGeneres. Sean Hannity tonight noticed that these details have gone largely unreported in the media, whereas if he had been a fan of right-wing TV hosts, the liberal media would have been eager to report on it to death. Hannity pointed out how Dorner is a big fan of liberal politicians and celebrities, while finding the NRA a deplorable organization. Hannity remarked, “don’t expect to hear much about this on liberal news outlets,” since Dorner appears to be a fan of networks like CNN and MSNBC. Hannity brought on Media Research Center president Brent Bozell to take on the media coverage, or lack thereof, of the manifesto.

John Sexton, The Conversation: The NY Times’ Shifting Standards on Mixing Murder and Politics:

Here’s the NY Times story on Christopher Dorner. The authors devote a little space to his “manifesto”:

The 6,000-word manifesto was bristling with anger and explicit threats, naming two dozen police officers he intended to kill. Mr. Dorner laid out grievances against a police department that he said remained riddled with racism and corruption, a reference to a chapter of the department’s history that, in the view of many people, was swept aside long ago.

No mention whatsoever of the political and media commentary that made up a significant portion of his manifesto. Is it relevant that Dorner wanted to smash George Zimmerman’s head in or that he was a fan of MSNBC and CNN? Apparently the Times thinks it is not.

John Hayward, The Conversation: Hoist upon their own Climate of Hate petard:

I hope everyone has seen the flashback video of Piers Morgan telling Mark Kelly that Sarah Palin should call Kelly’s wife, Rep. Gabby Giffords, to apologize for her alleged role in creating the “Climate of Hate” that led to the Tucson shooting.

If not, give it a couple of spins while you listen to Morgan whining and crying like a pitiful wretch, now that L.A. spree killer Chris Dornerspecifically named Piers Morgan as one of his inspirations.  Time to live up to your own standards, Piers.  Get on the phone and start apologizing to the families of Dorner’s victims for your role in the murders.  Do it live on the air, and maybe you can squeeze out a few more ratings points for CNN.

Patterico: (Alleged) Cop Killer Dorner: Man, I Love Obama. And His Wife’s Bangs Are Awesome:

And he loves him some gun control:

Who in there right mind needs a fucking silencer!!! who needs a freaking SBR AR15? No one. No more Virginia Tech, Columbine HS, Wisconsin temple, Aurora theatre, Portland malls, Tucson rally, Newtown Sandy Hook. Whether by executive order or thru a bi-partisan congress an assault weapons ban needs to be re-instituted. Period!!!

Mia Farrow said it best. “Gun control is no longer debatable, it’s not a conversation, its a moral mandate.”

Sen. Feinstein, you are doing the right thing in leading the re-institution of a national AWB. Never again should any public official state that their prayers and thoughts are with the family.

If the consequences weren’t so tragic, one could almost find laughable the way in which this guy takes hackish lefty arguments to an extreme. I’m hopping mad about mass killings not being reined in by gun control. So I’ll show you! I’ll commit mass killings with guns to prove my point about how people like me should not have guns!

John Nolte: Piers Morgan: L.A. Murder Spree Has ‘Nothing To Do With Politics’ :

Funny thing about this new policy of Pier Morgan’s–I mean his not wanting to bring politics into America’s latest mass-murder spree. Because in the past, whenever the CNN host was able to exploit dead innocents and sanctimoniously demand the government restrict our Second Amendment civil rights, he has done so without shame or conscience.
