    Her segment ran about 10 minutes where she complimented McCain for, “Coming Around” and using some sense about drilling for our own oil. She made a point of letting the world know that Alaskans were overwhelmingly in favor of drilling in Anwar. She dispelled the moonbat myths about how long it would take to get oil from anwar and made sure that everone knew that the “pristine” area they were trying to protect was basically waste land and the area they want to drill is no larger than the LA airport.

    She went on to assault moonbats in congress and spoke of a letter she had sent to them on the subject. She said she had gotten only one response from the senators and when she talked to him she simply has him what he could be thinking in preventing us from drilling for our own resources.

    Then, they asked her is she would be willing to be the VP candidate. She really got a lot in, in very little time. FOX pretty much let her run with it.

    She impressed me, but I don’t think she has a chance. She would over shadow McCain something awful. She’s clearly much smarter, and a much better speaker.

  6. Yes but McCain could never recognize that.

    She said, “Since that is such a long shot, I don’t have to worry about it and can instead focus on convincing people that Alaska has the resources to bring Americans energy independence, and is ready to do so.” She then went on to talk about how easy it would be, because the Alaskan Pipeline is only running at 50% of capacity and they already have the infrastructure in place to make it happen.

    Of course this is my recollection but it is very close to her words.
