ACLJ’s Jay Sekulow: As Bad As Our Allegations Are – the IRS Emails Are Probably Worse (Video)

Jay Sekulow was on Justice with Judge Jeanine Pirro, Saturday night, to talk about the latest developments in the IRS scandal – including the revelation  that Lerner’s Computer Mysteriously Crashed 10 DAYS After House Leaders Asked About Targeting.

Sekulow told Pirro that upon learning that the DOJ was colluding with the IRS to prosecute conservative groups, he sent a letter to Justice telling them that his clients would no longer cooperate with their “investigation” (which was being conducted by an attorney who – as Pirro snarked –  had “thithed” 10% of her income to Obama in 2008 and 2012.)

“We’re looking at going to the judge possibly for a motion on this, although the federal rules REQUIRE them to hold on to evidence, so if they don’t show up with the evidence – if the emails are gone – then the allegations in our complaint are deemed admitting,” Sekulow told her.

He went on to say that as bad as the  allegations in the complaint are,  the emails are probably worse.

The ACLJ’s complaint, which includes 41 organizations, argues that IRS officials “working in offices from California to Washington, D.C., pulled applications from conservative organizations, delayed processing those applications for sometimes well over a year, then made probing and unconstitutional requests for additional information that often required applicants to disclose, among other things, donor lists, direct and indirect communications with members of legislative bodies, Internet passwords and usernames, copies of social media and other Internet postings, and even the political and charitable activities of family members.”

The American Thinker: IRS contracted with email archiving company in 2005:

It turns out the IRS contracted with a company that provides email backup services starting in 2005.  This first came to light in the Twitter feed of moregenr, who noticed that the IRS appears on the client list of email  archiving service provider Sonasoft.

Cleta Mitchell, the attorney who represents many of the targeted conservative groups in a suit against the IRS, went on FOX News Sunday this morning to discuss the latest developments in the IRS targeting scandal.

Cleta dropped this bomb. It completely discredits the IRS’s latest talking points that Lois Lerner’s emails were lost in a single computer crash.

  1. Obama is juggling so many scandal balls and incompetent policy decisions, I wonder which one will FINALLY bring the whole lot crashing down.

In the meantime, I’m not even bothering to get angry anymore-except at the traitors in the left dominated media-they make me sick.
