Fox News Bombshell: Regime Knew Benghazi Was A Terrorist Attack While It Was Happening

In an explosive interview on Fox News’ Special Report, Wednesday, Eric Stahl, a retired major in the U.S. Air Force, told Bret Baier that  U.S. spy agencies were able to hear terrorists making phone calls to their superior commanding officers while the attack on the consulate and CIA annex in Benghazi was taking place on September 11, 2012. The reason the communications were easily intercepted is because the attackers were using State Department cell phones they had seized during the attacks.

It wasn’t weeks, days, or even hours before the “fog of war” had cleared and the Regime could piece together what had happened. They knew in real time – as it was happening – that it was a terrorist attack because they heard the terrorists themselves talking on their own State Dept cellphones.

Eric Stahl, who recently retired as a major in the U.S. Air Force, served as commander and pilot of the C-17 aircraft that was used to transport the corpses of the four casualties from the Benghazi attacks – then-U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens, information officer Sean Smith, and former Navy SEALs Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods – as well as the assault’s survivors from Tripoli to the safety of an American military base in Ramstein, Germany.

In an exclusive interview on Fox News’ “Special Report,” Stahl said members of a CIA-trained Global Response Staff who raced to the scene of the attacks were “confused” by the administration’s repeated implication of the video as a trigger for the attacks, because “they knew during the attack…who was doing the attacking.” Asked how, Stahl told anchor Bret Baier: “Right after they left the consulate in Benghazi and went to the [CIA] safehouse, they were getting reports that cell phones, consulate cell phones, were being used to make calls to the attackers’ higher ups.”

Stahl also told Baier that his crew could have reached Benghazi in time to have played a role in rescuing the victims of the assault, given their alert status and location – but they were never asked to do so.

“You would’ve thought that we would have had a little bit more of an alert posture on 9/11,” Stahl added. “A hurried-up timeline probably would take us [an] hour-and-a-half to get off the ground and three hours and fifteen minutes to get down there. So we could’ve gone down there and gotten them easily.”

What more, Stahl contends that a C 1-30 had been requested a month prior to 9/11 to be on stand-by at the airport, but that request had been denied.

Watch the video – as Major Stahl explains it, you can actually picture these CIA guys looking at each other and going “WTF?” while the Regime was pushing the YouTube video narrative.

Of course, it took nearly two years for anyone to interview any of these guys.

That sham Accountability Review Board, of course, somehow missed them.

I can’t believe Hillary Clinton would even think of  running for president with this FUBAR cover-up on her record. What nerve.

As for Obama… #IMPEACH

Hagel: No Assessment Made on How Many American Lives at Risk If Taliban 5 Have to Be Recaptured

This morning, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel took questions from members of the House Armed Services Committee on the release of five Taliban leaders for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.

Rep. Randy Forbes (R-VA) asked Hagel if an assessment was made of  how many American lives were lost capturing the detainees, and how many more would  be put at risk to stop them if they return to the battlefield.

Hagel indicated that no assessments were made, while asserting that there are threats to American lives every day, anyway.

Comparing the prisoner exchange to the equivalent of releasing deputy secretaries of defense, intelligence and interior, a governor and a commander, the congressman asked, “Mr. Secretary, you have said it here that if they rejoin the fight, they do it at their own peril. My question is a pretty simple one. Did you make an assessment of how many American lives may be put at risk if they have to be recaptured?”

“Congressman, we have American lives at risk, every day,” was Hagel’s incredible answer.

Forbes tried again: “In the calculus that you made for releasing these individuals, were you asked or did you make an assessment of the number of American lives that were lost or put at risk in capturing these individuals in the first place, and did you make an assessment of the number of American lives that could be put at risk if we have to go and capture them again.”

“Again – I saw no evidence – no facts,” Hagel stammered, (now apparently trying trying to run out the clock.) “I asked the question about how these five found their way to Guantanamo, and I have— in front of me — the facts on the five. Two of them were detained by US forces…”

Forbes interjected to ask if there had been an assessment to determine the number of  lives that could be put at risk to capture them again, and Hagel repeated his previous lame answer: “there are risks that we have to our country – threats to our country every day, everywhere.”

That was his answer and he stuck to it.

Hagel is arguing that it’s okay to release top level terrorists back onto the battlefield to potentially kill more Americans because we already face threats, anyway.

This man is a great strategic thinker – which I’m sure is why Obama chose him to be his Secretary of Defense.

ISIS seizes Mosul and More Towns in Northern and Central Iraq (Video)

It was one of our worst fears when he was elected. That after a long, hard- fought war in Iraq, the SCOAMF would snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. And it is indeed what is happening. Six months after “al Qaeda in Iraq” (now called ISIS) retook Fallujah, it has now retaken Mosul and is now making its way Southward to seize control of other territories.

Keith Koffler is beside himself.

It is truly hard to fathom the profound nature of the catastrophe that is the Obama presidency. On every front, domestic and foreign, our nation is taking an axe to the gut. Recovery from all this will be a Herculean feat. The disaster we face as a result of this man’s unfitness for the job – and mistaken policies – can hardly be overstated.

Iraq is now in a state of civil war. Insurgents have just seized control of Iraq’s second largest city, Mosul. Not just any insurgents. Al Qaeda-backed extremists. Between Syria, Iraq, Libya, other portions of Africa, and soon, once again, Afghanistan, Al Qaeda and other islamist extremists will have a mind-numbing panoply of locales available in which to train and launch attacks against the United States.

I wish I could say something to the people who lost loved ones fighting to liberate that country –  but there’s really nothing to say. There’s no upside. There is only more horror –  not only to the region, but the entire world, as Obama willfully retreats from it and allows America’s enemies to gain power.

Via the Long War Journal, “a video from a fighter in the Islamic State of Iraq and the Sham (ISIS) details the chaos in Mosul after the jihadist insurgent group took control of the city earlier today.”

The video, which was released on YouTube by an ISIS fighter who goes by the name of “Ibn al Azd,” is captioned “The camera roams the streets of Mosul and the displaced return after its liberation//Islamic State [ISIS].”

In the short video, an ISIS fighter films from a vehicle as another ISIS fighter drives through the main roads of Mosul. The aftermath of the ISIS’ rout of the Iraqi military is caught on film.

The video shows a number of police and armored military vehicles that are abandoned, burning, or torched. A checkpoint, once manned by policemen, is deserted. Several columns of smoke are seen rising in the background. Sporadic gunfire, presumably of the celebratory type, is also heard in the background.

The cameraman also records several vehicles and columns driven by masked ISIS fighters. Many of the vehicles are flying the ISIS’ black flag of jihad. Additionally, masked fighters are seen roaming the streets.

Also via the Long War Journal, now ISIS is advancing southward and taking control of territory in the provinces of Salahaddin and Kirkuk.

In Kirkuk province, ISIS fighters “overran the Hawijah, Zab, Riyadh and Abbasi areas west of the city of Kirkuk, and Rashad and Yankaja to its south,” Colonel Ahmed Taha told AFP.

“Taha said soldiers and police in Zab abandoned their posts, while Hawijah district council chief Hussein al Juburi said soldiers in the area were apparently ordered to depart, allowing militants to move in and raise their flag over the police station,” AFP continued.

Usamah al Nujayfi, the speaker of Iraq’s Council of Representatives, reported earlier today that ISIS fighters took control of the airport in Sharqat, a city halfway between Kirkuk and Mosul, seized a helicopter, and freed prisoners.
