So, already rampant in the black community, and now starting to spread throughout the MSM, is this idea that if Barack Obama is elected, some eeevil conservative racist/bigots will assassinate him, or at least try to. One conspiracy theorist at Huffpo even imagined Blackwater or Haliburtan type black ops.
Which is very interesting because it makes me wonder how worried some of these very same people were when Republican blacks achieved high office. People like…ohhhh…Condoleezza Rice, for instance: 
Or Clarence Thomas: Or Colin Powell:
Were they racked with fear that “whitey” was gonna get them???
No, of course they weren’t.
It turns out that liberal whites and blacks have actually had conservative blacks in their own crosshairs, figuratively speaking, of course.
Because conservative blacks are not considered authentically black. Liberal blacks consider conservative blacks to be “Uncle Toms”
Truth be told, conservative blacks are probably no more at risk of an assassination attempt than conservative whites, or liberal blacks, or liberal whites. But they certainly are more in danger of insults and ridicule.
I wonder what Barack Obama’s friends at Chicago’s Trinity United Church Of Christ think about this?
Christopher Hitchen’s had this to say about Barack’s church in his op-ed today:
Run by the sort of character that the press often guardedly describes as “flamboyant”—a man calling himself the Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr.—this bizarre outfit describes itself as “Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian” and speaks of “a chosen people” whose nature we are allowed to assume is “Afrocentric.”
Much or most of what Trinity United says is harmless and boring, rather like Gov. Mike Huckabee’s idiotic belief that his own success in Iowa is comparable to the “miracle” of the loaves and fishes, and the site offers a volume called Bad Girls of the Bible: Exploring Women of Questionable Virtue, which I have added to my cart, but nobody who wants to be taken seriously can possibly be associated with such a substandard and shade-oriented place.
And yet it’s happening.

Furthermore, Rev. Wright’s church publishes a magazine, The Trumpet.
