JW Reporter: Obama Admin Denying That ISIS Is Operating on Southern Border Is “Insane and Deplorable” (Video) UPDATED

Newsmax TV’s JD Hayworth talked to Judicial Watch Investigative reporter  Irene Garcia about their bombshell report from earlier this week claiming that terrorists have set up a training camp on the Southern border. High level Mexican sources are confirming JW’s reports from last August, that ISIS is operating at least one camp just a few miles from El Paso, TX.

Their sources include a Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican federal police inspector.

Garcia, a former LA Times reporter, said authorities on both side of the border have confirmed that the activity is occurring, but the Obama administration continues to claim the reports are unfounded for a number of reasons.

“…he wants better relations with Mexico, he’s allowing this influx of illegal immigrants coming in, he’s now facilitating with a program that Judicial Watch just broke, last week, where he’s flying the minors in, now because it’s too treacherous to cross the desert. If there’s terrorists right nearby – that would of course ruin that plan. A lot of it is denial – a lot of it is negligence – it’s downright insane and certainly deplorable that this is happening so close to our border, and yet the administration continues to officially say, that the border is secure – that this is unfounded.”

Garcia explained that ISIS is trying to enter the country through two ports of entry – El Paso and an area on the New Mexico border.

She referenced a Judicial Watch report from last August that revealed a leaked DHS warning bulletin for an imminent terrorist attack on the border that had been issued within the agency and was not meant to go public.

Garcia ended by noting that a US government report a few years ago acknowledged that Islamic, Middle Eastern terrorists have teamed up with drug cartels on the border.

“But these reports get very little media attention and most of the public never hears about it,” she said.

UPDATE:

Judicial Watch is now reporting that the DOJ called a “special meeting” in Juarez to deal with their report.

FBI Holds “Special” Meeting in Juárez to Address ISIS, DHS Not Invited

A high-level intelligence source, who must remain anonymous for safety reasons, confirmed that the meeting was convened specifically to address a press strategy to deny Judicial Watch’s accurate reporting and identify who is providing information to JW. FBI supervisory personnel met with Mexican Army officers and Mexican Federal Police officials, according to JW’s intelligence source. The FBI liaison officers regularly assigned to Mexico were not present at the meeting and conspicuously absent were representatives from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). It’s not clear why DHS did not participate.

Publicly, U.S. and Mexico have denied that Islamic terrorists are operating in the southern border region, but the rapid deployment of FBI brass in the aftermath of JW’s report seems to indicate otherwise. A Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector were among the sources that confirmed to JW that ISIS is operating a camp just a few miles from El Paso, Texas. The base is around eight miles from the U.S. border in an area known as “Anapra” situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua.

Obama Official: ISIS A Problem “Off The Charts Historically” (Video)

A top Obama official has admitted the obvious – that ISIS is a major threat to the United States – a far cry from Obama’s original stance that ISIS is the “Jayvee team.”

Via Fox News Insider:

“This is a problem that is off the charts historically,” Special Presidential Envoy to the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL Brett McGurk said, pointing out that more than 20,000 foreign fighters have joined the Islamic State in Syria.

“Just put that into perspective: It’s about twice the number that went into Afghanistan in the 1980s over a ten-year period to fight the Soviet Union, and those came really from only a handful of countries,” McGurk said.

“We’re in unchartered territory here.”

Lt. Col. Ralph Peters (Ret.) said on Fox News, Wednesday that he’s glad that the Obama administration has finally recognized that ISIS poses a serious threat.

“There is, for me, a deeper problem, in that all administrations, but especially this one, want to address terrorism with lawyers,” Peters said. “In wartime, you have to worry about what is effective, what works.”

“If you want to make nice, fine. If you want to defeat fanatical … and apocalyptic terrorists, you clear the battlefield of the lawyers and you do what it takes to win, and that means killing them remorselessly, ruthlessly and relentlessly. Nothing else works.”

Sheriff Babeu: ICE Won’t Provide Names Of Released Criminal Illegals In Order To Protect Obama

Sarah Saldana, director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), came under fire over the release of 30,000 criminal illegal immigrants last year, and 36,000 released prior, during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday.

That’s because, according to Arizona Sheriff Paul Babeu, the government will not share with law enforcement the names of tens of thousands of violent criminals the Obama administration released into the public.

Appearing Tuesday afternoon on Fox News Channel’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto,” Babeu told the host that he has sought the information through informal letter, through a Freedom of Information Act request, and through a request from help from Arizona Sen. John McCain.

“Senator McCain, who’s a powerful senator said, ‘Sheriff, I promise you I’m going to get you these names.’ He can’t get me the names. Nobody will get me these names,” Babeu said.
The reason the names aren’t being released, Babeu suspects, is because, once they recommit crimes, their heinous acts could be tracked back to Barack Obama.
“The reason why they will refuse to provide these names is because then we have a list of all these illegals that our government – President Obama has released into our communities that are committing new crimes – that are committing murder, that are committing rape, that are committing aggravated assault, and armed robbery, and then we can directly link them back to the president’s action – of this unlawful mass prison-break.”

The 30,000-plus criminals released back into the general population are said to include 193 convicted of murder; more than 300 convicted of rape and sexual assault; and 200 to 300 convicted of kidnapping.

Babeu said diplomatic pressure should be applied to those countries, included denying visas, if the criminals aren’t taken back.

MORE from the hearing via CNS News:
Sarah Saldana, director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), told members of the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday that ICE agents who do not enforce President Barack Obama’s executive orders on immigration priorities could be fired for not following an agency directive.

Sunshine State News: Ted Yoho Pushes Back Against Presidential Overreach:

U.S. Rep. Ted Yoho, R-Fla., is looking to put a check on executive power with a resolution returning Article 1 powers to Congress and looking to include executive usurpation as grounds for impeachment. Despite being a fierce critic of President Barack Obama, Yoho said his proposal was not directed against the president.

“Many of the people I have the honor of representing are tired of executive overreach and the circumvention of legislative process,” Yoho said on Monday. “It is a dangerous precedent to set when the president begins to rule by fiat and takes on the role that is specifically reserved for Congress.
