John Kerry Vows To Fight Swiftboating

He’s not referring to his own swiftboating here….we’re still waiting for Kerry to provide the proof that the Swiftboaters of the 2004 campaign were lying so T. Boone Pickens can send him that $1 million dollars, he promised him. But it appears we wait in vain. The Crybaby Kerry clock at the American Spectator was regretfully removed when it became clear that no such proof was forthcoming.

No, John Kerry is valiantly coming to the defense of Obama, who, it is apparently feared, is in grave danger of being swiftboated himself,  from an unknown, (but strongly suspected) force:

An e-mail attributed to Sen. John Kerry, the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee, and sent out by the Barack Obama campaign took on those who would “swiftboat” Obama.

Kerry, saying in the e-mail that “this is personal for me, and for a whole lot of Americans who lived through the 2004 election,” tells Obama supporters that “we must stop the swiftboating, stop the push-polling, stop the front groups, and stop the e-mail chain smears.”

“The truth matters, but how you fight the lies matters even more. We must be determined never again to lose any election to a lie.”

“These are the same tactics the right has used again and again, and as we’ve learned, these attacks, no matter how bogus, can spread and take root if they go unchecked.”

“But not this time — we’re fighting back.”

Shoot Kerry, it’s not too late for you to fight back, and clear your own name. How hard is it to allow the Navy to distribute unaltered copies of your service record, medical records, and DD214? As long as these records come straight from the DOD, and are untampered with….I see no reason why the public wouldn’t accept it as evidence that you served honorably. Plus you get $1 million from T. Boone Pickens! Win-win!

What a selfless guy…he’s focusing all his energy on helping the Messiah, instead.

Kerry says that Obama “can’t do it alone.”

“We need you to email the truth to your address books. Print it out and post it at work. Talk to your neighbors. Call your local radio station. Write a letter to the editor. If lies can be spread virally, let’s prove to the cynics that the truth can be every bit as persuasive as it is powerful.”

Who’s going to be providing this “truth” that is to be emailed, posted, etc.? Was there…perhaps… a fund-raising pitch in Kerry’s email…to help with the fight against “swiftboating”?

Just wondering.
