We Stand With Gibson Guitars Rally Oct. 8

A coalition of 26 Tea Party and Conservative groups from across the US will be hosting a rally in support of embattled Gibson Guitars, next month.

As you may know,  Gibson Guitars was recently raided by Holder’s Justice Department  over the type of wood it uses in guitars.

Henry Juszkiewicz, Chairman and CEO of Gibson Guitar Corp. held a press conference to explain the situation.

The Wall Street Journal expanded on the story.

Gibson Guitar Corp., a big user of ebony and other scarce woods, for years has allied itself with Greenpeace and other environmental groups to show it was serious about preserving forests.

That didn’t stop the Nashville-based company, whose guitars are used by such musicians as B.B. King and Angus Young of AC/DC, from running afoul of U.S. authorities over allegedly illegal imports of wood. Though no charges have been filed, Gibson factories have been raided twice, most recently last week, by federal agents who say ebony exported from India to Gibson was “fraudulently” labeled to conceal a contravention of Indian export law.

Henry Juszkiewicz, chief executive officer of the closely held company, said in an interview that a broker probably made a mistake in labeling the goods but that the sale was legal and approved by Indian authorities.

The “We stand with Gibson” rally is scheduled for October 8th, in Nashville, TN. Speakers include Gibson President Henry Juszkiewicz, Representative Marsha Blackburn, and talk radio hosts Steve Gill, Phil Valentine and Mark Skoda.

Speakers will include Gibson CEO Henry Juszkiewicz, and Congressman Marsha Blackburn, along with special guests Talk Radio Hosts Steve Gill, Phil Valentine, and Mark Skoda and Amy Kremer, Chairman of the Tea Party Express.

  2. This isn’t about “mislabeling” imported wood, it’s about Gison being non-union.

    And since when does the DoJ enforce Indian law with raids? Seems to me they have a lot more serious crimes to investigate, stop and prosecute.

    They may, in fact, wish to stop at the following address to start their real crime-stopping adventures: 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, D.C., the United States.

  5. You are all standing with a CRIMINAL.

    Henry Juszkiewicz is a criminal that cheats America’s Troops and Disabled Veterans. He refused to honow a warranty on a Les Paul bought by Florida Disabled Veteran. Then he lost a lawsuit against him by the Veteran for FRAUD and not honoring the warranty.

    Henry Juszkiewicz, who is not known for being honest, or having morals, then hired a FAKE ATTORNEY named Barbara O’Connell to commit Perjury, telling the Florida Court that she was a Tennessee Attorney, and a bunch of other lies to get the Florida Lawsuit Gibson lost re-instated. And he bribed a Tennessee Notary Public to notorize the Perjured Affidavit claiming Barbara O’Connell was a Tennessee Attorney.

    That is a Federal Crime known as Honest Services Mail Fraud and Perjery.

    In the past Henry Juszkiewicz has been caught swingling the IRS, caught by the Feds Price Fixing, found by the Courts to file frivolious lawsuits to extort money from honest people, he sued just about every store in America to stop the sale of Guitar Hero, and other guitar games (He is now after paper jam claiming it is a copy of a Gibson Guitar), and he imports illegal wood by joining LIBERAL Coversation Groups.

    Henry Juszkiewicz ADMITTED in my lawsuit that he intentionally lies on the packaging of Gibson Guitar Straps when he says they are “Bench Tested”. He ADMITTED they are not tested at all. According to consumer statements three out of four Gibson Guitar Straps FAIL and drop the guitar.

    Henry Juszkiewicz is no Republican, Conservative, or Tea Partier. He is a very GREEDY Criminal donateing to powerful politicans, like Congresswoman Blackburn, whom he PAYS to intiminate, and harass the Justice Department to stop investigations against him for his many crimes.

    And he deceives and uses Conservative Groups, like good honest Republicans, and Tea Party Groups, tosses then a little money, and makes himself above the law as he cheats thousands, sueing the world to extort money, operating his Crime Family.

    Every time you go into a Wal-Mart, a K-Mart, a Mall Store, you are paying HIGHER Prices because they had to spend millions defending themselves from mulitable Gibson Guitar Frivolious Lawsuits.

    I call Gibson Guitar the “Nashville Malifia” and rightly so.

    Gibson Guitar is known for abusing it’s employees, overpricing it’s Guitars, not honoring warranties, lying on advertising and packaging, belonging to LIBERAL GROUPS, not paying taxes, using Perjury, Fake Attorneys, and fake evidence they create in lawsuits, using illegal wood, and donating large sums of money to Conservative Politicans to STOP Criminal Investigations.

    Ask Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn if she didn’t get paid $2,000 by Gibson Guitars and Henry Juszkiewicz.

  8. The birds, animals, and plants of this world were made so beautiful by our creator that it couldn’t be more obvious that we need to prevent their extinction. And certainly they should not go extinct for corporate greed. Gibson, if they have done nothing wrong which I seriously doubt, should applaud our government’s efforts to support the Lacey Act, and not spin this into mindless corporate-controlled-and-owned Tea Party propoganda.

  9. The fact that you would say “corporate controlled and owned tea party propaganda” shows who’s really being propagandized. Ever been to a tea party? Didn’t think so. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

    If Gibson were as guilty as you imply, (for importing the same type of wood a unionized, Dem donating rival does)- why have no charges been filed by the DOJ after two years of intimidation?

    (Btw, the Lacey Act should be repealed.)
