O’Reilly Gets It Right: Baltimore Rioting Is Leading To Madness (Video)

Sounds like Bill O’Reilly and Nice Deb are simpatico when it comes to the excuse-making and rationalizations we’re hearing from the left on the Baltimore riots. Frankly, I could not be more disgusted and mortified by what’s been going on. By claiming that blacks are oppressed by “the man” i.e – the system – they end up supporting mass violence as a remedy. The left loves to tear things down. It seems to be the only thing they do well.

Here’s Bill O, tonight – and he’s going to get a lot of flack from the Social Justice rage mobs because this is so profoundly un-PC:

“The truth is – we don’t know what happened to Mr. Gray. The same way we did not know what happened in Ferguson, MO,” O’Reilly said, going on to make the point that it is irresponsible for people to make judgments about what happened before all the facts are known.

“The litany of excuse-making is excruciating. The rioters are angry because America’s a country of mass incarceration. People who burn down buildings and loot are just misdirected folks who feel hopeless. And if you feel hopeless, it’s okay to riot. You see – it’s really not the fault of those who commit crimes. It’s the fault of America because we don’t provide jobs for everyone. Instead of pinpointing the real problem, and trying to solve it, you get crazy theories that attempt to provide justification for Americans hurting other Americans. If you can’t make big money – go ahead and sell heroin. No problem!

Here’s the truth. How could anyone provide a job that pays adecent salary to someone who can’t read or write? To someone who can’t speak basic English? To someone who has tattoos all over their body – who’s defiant, disrespectful – doesn’t even want to work because they have a sense of entitlement that says they’re victims and YOU owe me. Does that sound like a good job-seeking resume to you? And don’t tell me those folks don’t exist. They’re legion.

So these politicians – out on the street trying to justify rioting by saying that we don’t provide jobs – are dishonest in the extreme. If you get educated and are willing to work hard – you can get a job. It may not be the best paying job at first, but you work your way up!”

O’Reilly then named names of some of the worst offenders of the week. It was a good rant and a necessary rant:

You know O’Reilly hit the mark as Media Mutters already has a post up denouncing him.

Newsmax: Scant Details From Gray Death Probe Disappoint Protesters:

The refusal of authorities to provide more than a few sketchy details about the Freddie Gray investigation may be legally appropriate, but many people in Baltimore were finding it hard to be patient Thursday when police revealed nothing about the internal investigation they turned over to the state’s attorney’s office.

Nearly two weeks after Gray’s death, the public still doesn’t know much more than it did on Day One. The central question — what caused his fatal spinal cord injury — remains a mystery.

“The transparency is just not there,” the Rev. Cortly “C.D.” Witherspoon said after Police Commissioner Anthony Batts refused to answer any questions Thursday.

Batts said his department’s report was delivered a day ahead of time to State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby, and that from now on, any questions should go to her.

Mosby also declined to talk, issuing a statement Thursday asking “for the public to remain patient and peaceful and to trust the process of the justice system.”

With rumors flying about how Gray’s spine was “80 percent severed,” as his family’s lawyer Billy Murphy put it, police did release a new piece of information Thursday, but it served mostly to raise more questions about how truthful the six suspended officers have been with investigators.

  1. I get this feeling, that it’s going to be a “long, hot, summer”. Reminiscent of the 1960’s.

    What could possibly go wrong?
