John Kerry Determined To Slay ManBearPig

I’d call him a fraud, but that would be an insult to con artists everywhere. This is something lower, and more comical:

Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.), who is leading a bipartisan effort to put together a compromise on energy and climate change legislation, has exhorted allies to act with greater urgency.

“I want you to go out there and start knocking on doors and talking to people and telling people, ‘This has to happen!’” Kerry said at a forum hosted by environmentalists last month.

“You know, if Tea Party folks go out there and get angry because they think their taxes are too high, for God’s sakes, a lot of citizens ought to be angry about the fact that they’re being killed and our planet is being injured by what is happening on a daily basis by the way we provide our power and our fuel and by the old practices we have,” Kerry told his allies.

He wants people knocking on doors….to inflame the citizenry about our country’s deadly, planet-injuring practices. That’s…really gonna happen.

Not.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has called moving the bill a “headache.”

Yes, especially in an already tough election year for Democrats.

  1. The comments you refer to are nonsense. The climate change bill is alive and well. Actually, the quoted comments supposedly from Reid, is nothing more than a politcal hit piece. I won’t believe any of it. Climate change is not a bogus issue, it is a very, very serious matter. You and other who dismiss it, based on the ranting of one Rush Limbaugh and others of his ilk, are doing our country, your fellow Americans and yourself a great disservice. I would suggest that before you just take someones word for things you actually do some important research on your own and form and unbiased opinion. You don’t have to believe Senator Kerry or even other Republicans who are working on this bill, but I can tell you that Senator Kerry has been involved with climate change matters since the 1070’s and he does know a lot about this issue. Please do not just dismiss what you do not understand-educate yourself.

My source, The Hill, is hardly a partisan website:

It wouldn’t post a “political hit piece”, but is merely reporting the facts.

I can tell you that Senator Kerry has been involved with climate change matters since the 1070’s and he does know a lot about this issue.

Assuming you meant the 1970s, that would be when the scam was global cooling.

The fun thing here is, the more people educate themselves about the fraud that has been going on in climate science, the more they reject the alarmism, which is a good thing.

Funny how most climate alarmists rarely do any research on their own to form their own opinion.

that Senator Kerry has been involved with climate change matters since the 1070’s

Yikes! Of course, during the 1070’s, we were in the midst of the Global Climate Optimum, where the temps were actually higher, preceding the Little Ice Age.

  19. well considering the facts like those from the NRDC “images from NASA satellites show that the area of permanent ice cover is contracting at a rate of 9 percent each decade” than its kinda clear that there forces at work causing this, and we need to make sure that we are no longer one of those forces
