Huh! Dems Soliciting Evil Koch Bros For Contributions, Now

After months of  being on the receiving end of countless vicious attacks from the Democrat party, the Koch brothers have received a fund raising letter and call from Patty Murray promising them  that a five-figure contribution to the DSCC would garner them a retreat in Kiawh Island with Dem luminaries in September.

As you can imagine, the Kochs were not amused, and Koch Industry’s President of Government and Public affairs let them know in no uncertain (but cordial) terms that they find the DCCC’s efforts to be hypocritical and repulsive:

Dear Senator Murray:

For many months now, your colleagues in the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee leadership have engaged in a series of disparagements and ad hominem attacks about us, apparently as part of a concerted political and fundraising strategy. Just recently, Senator Reid wrote in a DSCC fundraising letter that Republicans are trying to “force through their extreme agenda faster than you can say ‘Koch Brothers.’”

So you can imagine my chagrin when I got a letter from you on June 17 asking us to make five-figure contributions to the DSCC. You followed that up with a voicemail* indicating that, if we contributed heavily enough, we would garner an invitation to join you and other Democratic leaders at a retreat in Kiawah Island this September.

I’m hoping you can help me understand the intent of your request because it’s hard not to conclude that DSCC politics have become so cynical that you actually expect people whom you routinely denounce to give DSCC money.

It is troubling that private citizens taking part in the discourse have become the targets of White House and DSCC fundraising missives, and we would certainly encourage you to rethink that approach. Ultimately, I expect voters will see through that and will weigh the issues on the merits alone. But in the meantime, if you could provide me some insight on what exactly you are asking of us and why, I would be most grateful.

What was Patty Murray thinking? Does she not realize that the Koch bros are considered to be the root of all evil in this country by the drones liberal mob party faithful? What could this woman be thinking?

My fellow Americans, in regard to the U.S. presidency, please tell me we are over “the black thing.”  Can we move past race and gender and simply elect the best American for the job?

Due to liberal media manipulation and guilt, America elected an incompetent black guy as leader of the free world to prove that we are not racist.  Obama’s black skin has made him untouchable, the left’s dream tool to further their socialist agenda. Once America gets over “the black thing”, will the liberal media demand we elect Hilliary to prove we are not sexist?

How long will it be before the liberal media demands that we elect our first openly gay/lesbian president to prove that we are not homophobic?

I believe that the novelty of a black guy in the White House is over — been there, done that, got the historic Obama (false) Hope & Change t-shirt.

I hereby proclaim the season of Presidential Affirmative Action over!

Funny how the liberal media and their far-left buddies deal with blacks and women.  You need to understand that the left’s progressive/socialist agenda trumps everything.  Thus, race and gender are highly effective tools used to further their agenda.

If you are a black liberal, the left gleefully views you as a poor victim of a racist America. Quoting Obama’s pastor, Rev. Wright, “Barack knows what it feels like to live in a country controlled by rich white people”. The left demands that standards be lowered and government entitlements be gifted.

If you are a black conservative, the left views you as a stupid self hating n***** suffering with Stockholm Syndrome. And yes, the left freely uses the “n” word when referring to black conservatives.

If you are a liberal woman, you are a victim of a sexist America controlled by white male SOBs.  If you are a conservative woman, you are a stupid slut.

So, you can understand why my stomach turns when the liberal media and their far-left buddies are lauded for their superior compassion and tolerance for blacks and women.

We were told Obama was “post racial”, but he’s been anything but. Under his “historic” presidency, the racial divide has gotten wider.  I saw it starting during the 2008 election campaign, and now its boiling over. What the heck  is going on in our inner cities?! It’s impossible not to notice that mobs of black youths are engaging in mass criminal behavior  all across the nation, and terrorizing the populous –  why hasn’t the President addressed the exploding problem? This country is in the final stages of “disintegration” despite whether anyone wants to acknowledge it. Our public education system is a failure, our economy has been trashed with runaway spending on more liberal theories that don’t work. The final insult is the polarization of society, which has gotten much worse under Barack Obama, whom we were told would unite us in a “post-racial” society. Wrong. The President likes to lecture us on our “addiction to oil”, as seen in this address to the nation, last Dec. You only need to watch the first 30 secs to get the idea. I wouldn’t make you watch more than that..

He often repeats the stats he led with:

” After all, oil is a finite resource.  We consume more than 20 percent of the world’s oil, but have less than 2 percent of the world’s oil reserves. “

Turns out that’s a big fat lie, as Prof. Lovell and others have pointed out, the US has abundant oil reserves:

Don’t watch it, it’s crap. The anti-“big oil” propaganda was so blatant and so thick it completely smothered any otherwise charming attributes the movie might have had.

I wish I’d seen The Lonely Conservative’s warning. Cars II was an abomination. I may never watch another Pixar film.
