Obama: Fox News “Destructive”, Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow “Invaluable”

By now, most people have seen Obama’s latest broadside against Fox News. In an interview with Rolling Stone publisher Jann Wenner,  Obama said that Fox’s point of view is “destructive” to the country, while having nothing to say about the far left point of view of MSNBC. That network’s bias is so extreme, it’s trusted by only 12% of the population. Yesterday, I wondered why he would single out Fox News, while not mentioning the obvious bias of other networks.

Well I was wrong. Obama has singled out the least trusted network, too….

I almost spit out my coffee this morning when I read this bit in  David Zurawick’s piece in The Baltimore Sun:
Is Obama launching a new fall attack on Fox News?

Check out this report of White House spokesperson praising MSNBC and Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow if you don’t think the White House is on the attack against Fox again just as it was last fall — while shutting its eyes to MSNBC committing the same sins of bias of which it accuses Fox News. This sure looks like playing to the base to me. The White House spokesman says the president believes Olbermann provides an “invaluable service” to the country. He helps keep government “honest.” And this, while the president is saying Fox News is “destructive” to the country.

Here’s what White House spokesman, Bill Burton said:

However, Burton added that Obama does want to make sure that people on the left and right know that the administration’s “done a lot” and that “we’ve got a lot more to do.” He then lauded the efforts of MSNBC’s top liberal hosts.

“And if you’re on the left, if you’re somebody like Keith Olbermann or Rachel Maddow or one of the folks who helps to keep our government honest and pushes and prods to make sure that folks are true to progressive values,” Burton continued, “then he thinks that those folks provide an invaluable service.  But at the same time, we need to focus our energy and our efforts on the choice that Americans have this fall.”

Conservative leaning – bad. “Progressive values” – YUM!!!!

Yes, he’s playing to his base. That’s all the community organizer knows how to do.

The reason I don’t consider Obama MY President is because he ISN’T my President.

  1. Yah, Obama is too damn nice!

The only thing that Obama has to do in order to shut up the mouths of the Republicans at Fox is call Eric Holder’s office and the F.B.I. and order them to deliver to his office Sophia Stewart’s legal file regarding the theft of the Terminator movie franchise copyrights. Thereafter, Eric Holder can easily bring a lawsuit against Fox for RICO violations for stiffling competition and the theft of the “Terminator” movie franchise copyrights from the legal owner being Sophia Stewart. It will prove just how destructive Fox really is as a Monopoly.

Fox can’t deny the theft of the “Terminator” movie copyrights, because Harlen Ellison’s name is on the credits of the actual film, but his name is definately not on those copyrights. Obama can have Eric Holder order the F.B.I. to probe the Judge in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of California regarding his failure to alert the government pursuant to 18 U.S.C. 4 regarding those Termiantor copyrights. If Obama did this it would cost Fox over $4 Billion.

That’s how you make a fool shut the hell up.

  2. Yes, and I’m sure that NewsCorp and FoX movies are the same corporations with the same legal liabilities as well, because everyone knows those eeeeeeevvvviiilll capitalists always run everything from the same business entity, because, it’s like so smart n stuff to do that.
