Video: Breitbart v.s. The OFA Astroturfers at Right Nation

I’ve already posted Gateway Pundit‘s raw video of the Breitbart confrontation with the OFA protesters outside of  Right Nation, But this Founding Bloggers video has been cleaned up with added narration from Andrew Marcus.

Enjoy – this is good stuff:

See Andrew Marcus’ post at Big Government for a second video that features the lead organizer, C.J. Hawking:

Who is C.J. Hawking? For more details on that we turn to the Democratic Socialists of America, who in 2009 wrote:

Kim Bobo, the Executive Director of Interfaith Worker Justice (IWJ), was to be our featured speaker. Due to a family emergency, she had to cancel all her appearances that week, including the Dinner. But she nominated, and we accepted, the Reverend C.J. Hawking as her replacement. C.J. Hawking is the Director of the local affiliate of IWJ, Arise Chicago.

DREAM Act Vote Tomorrow, 2:15pm

Michelle Malkin has been ringing alarm bells about the DREAM Act amendment that’s been tacked onto the defense authorization bill just in time for the 2010 elections.

This is not about protecting “children.” It’s about preserving electoral power through cap-and-gown amnesty.

The so-called DREAM Act would create an official path to Democrat voter registration for an estimated 2 million, college-age illegal aliens. Look past the public relations-savvy stories of “undocumented” valedictorians left out in the cold. This is not about protecting “children.” It’s about preserving electoral power through cap-and-gown

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced this week that he’s attaching the DREAM Act to the defense authorization bill. With ethnic activists breathing down his neck and President Obama pushing to fulfill his campaign promise to Hispanics, Reid wants his queasy colleagues to vote on the legislation next week. Open-borders lawmakers have tried and failed to pass the DREAM ACT through regular channels for the last decade. That’s because informed voters know giving green cards to illegal alien students undermines the rule of law, creates more illegal immigration incentives, and grants preferential treatment to illegal alien students over law-abiding native and naturalized American students struggling to get an education in tough economic times. This bad idea is compounded by a companion proposal to recruit more illegal aliens into the military with the lure of citizenship (a fraud-ridden and reckless practice countenanced under the Bush administration).

The usual RINO suspects are crossing the aisle to support it:

Despite the obvious electoral advantage this plan would give Democrats, several pro-illegal alien amnesty Republicans crossed the aisle to support the DREAM Act, including double-talking Sens. John McCain, Richard Lugar, Bob Bennett, Sam Brownback, Norm Coleman, Susan Collins, Larry Craig, Chuck Hagel, Kay Bailey Hutchison, Mel Martinez,
Olympia Snowe, and presidential candidate Mike Huckabee (who champions even greater illegal alien student benefits than those proposed by Democrats). After paying lip service to securing the borders, McCain promised DREAM Act demonstrators this week that he supported the bill and would work to “resolve their issues.”

DREAM Act lobbyists are spotlighting heart-wrenching stories of high-achieving teens brought to this country when they were toddlers. But instead of arguing for case-by-case dispensations, the protesters want blanket pardons. The broadly-drafted Senate bill would confer benefits on applicants up to age 35 and the House bill contains no age
ceiling at all. The academic achievement requirements are minimal. Moreover, illegal aliens who didn’t arrive in the country until they turned 15 – after they laid down significant roots in their home country – would be eligible for DREAM Act benefits and eventual U.S. citizenship. And like past amnesty packages, the Democrat plan is devoid of any concrete eligibility and enforcement mechanisms to deter already-rampant immigration benefit fraud.

See Michelle  Malkin via Roy Beck at NumbersUSA for “a handy phone list of Senate fence-sitters, flip-floppers, and feckless sellouts”.

She’s recommending that people to melt the phone lines. Some of these people may be reachable.

It’s Time To Start Linking Democrats To their Extremists

This is the game they continually play with conservatives. The tea party is made up of  average Americans who represent the majority on most of the issues facing the nation. But that doesn’t stop the libs from trying to paint them as extremists, even if it means infiltrating tea parties and doctoring videos to make them look like racists.

Only yesterday, the New York Times reported that the White House is  considering a national ad campaign to link Republicans with “Tea Party Extremists”. David Axelrod denied that a national ad campaign was being planned:

“There’s been no discussion of such a thing at the White House” or the Democratic National Committee, said David Axelrod, Mr. Obama’s senior adviser.

Which, considering Axelrod’s well known penchant for lying, means it’s absolutely true.

And such an ad campaign coming from the DNC would be nothing new. Remember this vicious anti-tea party ad from August, ’09?:

So rest assured. Something equally vile is in the works for this Fall.

I think it’s time for Republicans to fight back by linking Democrats to the extremists within their ranks. Don’t get me wrong –  I realize that the Dem Socialists in leadership positions (including the President) are by definition, extremists, themselves. Their positions are at odds with the majority of the American people in case after case after case after case after case. But they are able to hide their extremism under the veneer of respectability their offices provide them. Many of their supporters, however, don’t have that advantage. I’m talking about the scruffy, and often violent moonbats who show up at lefty rallies: Code Pinkos, animal rights nuts, global warming alarmists, union thugs, anarchists, black nationalists, La Raza, etc, etc, etc.

These are people that most Americans do not identify with. And the Dems own them.

In many cases these folks are actually bused into events by Democrat organs such as the SEIU, OFA, and HCAN.

Big Government recently covered a Sarah Palin-as-Hitler rally that was linked to a Democrat Congresswoman who’s running for reelection in the 11th district in IL.  Your Democratic party in action.

The “anti-hate rally” that Obama supporters from Organizing For America held outside of Right Nation, last weekend should be exposed as the hypocritical hate-fest that it was. Members spat on conservatives, and called Andrew Breitbart, a “homo”. It was captured on tape. Dems.

The SEIU thug who beat up Kenneth Gladney, last summer outside a town hall in St, Louis? Dem.

The MOVE ON  thug who bit off an elderly man’s finger at an anti-Obamacare rally? Dem.

Um, The Socialist Party of America announced in their October 2009 newsletter that 70 Congressional democrats currently belong to their caucus. Those Dems might be considered extreme by mainstream Americans.

The pro illegal immigration rallies in AZ that featured swastikas and Nazi references, and  had participants throwing bottles at the police? Dems.

The New Black Panthers that Obama’s DOJ is protecting? Those would be Dems, too.

Speaking of Black Nationalists, see Duane Lester at All American Blogger for a video he’s uncovered of Al Sharpton excusing the extreme hate speech of one of his supporters, and then blaming the victim for it. If you don’t like being called “a white devil”, maybe you ARE a white devil, don’t you know. All Dems.

Those are just a few examples of extremists within the Democrat ranks. I could go on and on, but I have things to do, today.

How about it Republicans? Take the gloves off. Fight fire with fire.

“Father of the Tea Party”, Rick Santelli Sometimes Goes to Rallies Incognito

I got a kick out of this  little nugget from a recent interview with Rick Santelli, in reference to  his “rant-heard-’round-the-world”:

“The five-minute rant was the best five minutes of my life,” Santelli tells reporter Abdon Pallasch. “But beyond that, really four minutes in time, it’s the Tea Party. My wife pointed out to me, ‘You were there for the insemination, but you were not there to raise the child.'”

Pallasch writes that Santelli and his wife have attended local Tea Party rallies, donning “sunglasses and baseball caps…not talking to anyone, not claiming any credit, just admiring democracy at work.”
