The HHS contraception mandate is a threat not only to the liberty of religious citizens, but to the liberty of all citizens, and at noon, this Friday, thousands of Americans in more than 130 U.S. cities will make their displeasure known.
At the “Stand Up For Religious Freedom – Stop the HHS Mandate” rallies across the nation, the crowds will protest the recent contraceptives mandate and publicly voice their demand that the government protect religious liberty and stop forcing religious groups to cover drug-induced abortions.
March 23 is the second anniversary of the passage of Obamacare. The Obama administration has claimed it’s willing to help insurance companies offset the cost of free birth control for women working for religious institutions such as hospitals and colleges. Under the plan, students and workers may obtain contraception, sterilization and abortion-inducing drugs from insurance companies without a copay.
It’s time to stand up and fight the evil. The more people know about the HHS mandate – the less they support it. But understand, every single day, Obama and his allies in the media go before the people with talking points designed to fool low info types.
“We should all be horrified by this thing. When the American people hear about this, as they will on Friday, March 23, the rollback is going to start. The HHS mandate is going into the dustbin of history.
Let’s mobilize…

Americans For Prosperity is holding Hands Off My Healthcare rallies on March 27 in Washington DC and Jefferson City, MO.
As the Supreme Court hears arguments on Obama Care this may be our last chance to send a message to our elected leaders!
Hands Off My Health Care Rally
The United States Supreme Court, Washington, D.C.
March 27th at 1:00PM
Over the past few years, Americans for Prosperity has worked with coalition groups and activists like you to educate the public on the dangers of the President’s health care bill. AFP’s Hands Off My Health Care Tour criss-crossed the nation in 2009 hosting over 300 events and rallies. Then, in late 2009, over 5,000 activists gathered for AFP’s Code Red Rally in Washington.
We must remind the Court and all of Washington that the President’s health care takeover is an affront to free-market principles and our Constitution. Not only is the individual mandate unconstitutional, but it forces consumers to enter the health insurance market against their will. Click here to read more about the individual mandate.
Hands Off My Health Care Rally, Jefferson City, MO:
Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 11:30 AM (CT)
Capitol Plaza Hotel
Jefferson City, MO
March 23, 2012, marks an important and unfortunate anniversary. It will have been exactly two years since President Obama forced his unpopular health care takeover on the American people.
As you are most likely aware, the Supreme Court will be considering the constitutionality of several elements of the President’s health care takeover. This may be our best chance to overturn this offense against our health care freedoms.
That’s why Americans for Prosperity will be hosting a Hands Off My Health Care rally for free-market grassroots activists from across Missouri.
11 AM – doors open (box lunch available for the first 150 RSVP’s)
11:30 AM – local speakers Sen Scott Rupp, Lt Gov Peter Kinder
12 PM – Simulcast of the Washington DC “Hand Off My Health Care Rally” at the US Supreme Court
1:00 PM – Go to the Capitol! Those interested can visit their Representative in support of SB464
