The Disappointment of Truth That Doesn’t Fit the Narrative

You almost feel sorry for her, don’t you?

I realize that there aren’t many people who watch MessNBC, but the fact that we still give stupidity like this a platform and the veneer of respectability threatens our future.  I don’t know that I can pinpoint when the Lame Stream Media decided to report what they want to be the facts, rather than the facts themselves, but the breathtaking level of denial that many of the talking heads exhibit is truly frightening.

If we can no longer stomach the truth that bad people want to kill us, and these desires are born of a certain religion and its hostility to the West, then the cavity searches of the grandmothers and Cub Scouts at TSA checkpoints, while we avoid ‘profiling’ the one-way ticket carrying passengers praying to Allah, will surely ensure that the soon-to-slaughtered passengers will have their blissful ignorance interrupted by only a short, hot instant of confusion.

UPDATE: (ND):

This doesn’t fit the narrative, either:

Insty:

SHOCKER: Source: Terrorist Faisal Shahzad Was Anti-Bush, Anti-War. “Wow! It’s a wonder the guy wasn’t co-anchoring at MSNBC. Maybe he didn’t have the right skin color for that gig? They pretty much have a white only policy over there, as I recall.” Indeed.

Not only was he not a ‘tea bagger’, he was probably a Democrat who voted for Obama.

Oh, and can you believe this?

  1. She,and others like her,are more afraid of (middle America) citizens than the whack job terrorists who wish to chop off our heads, and destroy our entire country. It’s insane, and yes, it’s very frightening. Who runs our media? How did we come to this? Sometimes I feel like I live in a forigen country. I don’t know this so called changed and new America.

  6. Oy vey! The hypocrisy makes my head reel. Condemning people who — through no fault of their own — happen to have WHITE skin … or who live in the midwest … or hold conservative beliefs … or practive a Christian faith …. Now THOSE folks we can condemn all day long, but that’s not bigotry????????????????
Why or why are people like this on the air?
She’s bascially saying, “Gosh, I was really hoping it’d be a conservative Christian white guy, cause THOSE are the ones we want to blame.” Yeah, I know she isn’t worth the pixels I’ve already wasted. but … sheesh!
