Halloween night started out like any other Halloween night for the patrons of The Mint nightclub in Hailey, Idaho. Things started to get ugly when Lori M. Brutsche-Ely, 41, showed up, started stealing the other patrons’ beer, exposed herself to the band, and tried to start fights.
Hailey officer Shelly Pharis wrote in a probable cause affidavit that when she arrived at the bar she found Brutsche-Ely, completely unclothed, outside and in front of the nightclub yelling at Mint security personnel and patrons who had followed the fracas outside.
Brutsche-Ely was charged with four crimes for things she allegedly did in or outside of the Mint. The misdemeanor indecent exposure charge alleges that Brutsche-Ely illegally exposed her private parts in public, while the misdemeanor battery charge alleges that she kicked Mint security man Mike Kimball in the groin.
She’s been charged with eight crimes, five of them felonies. Four of the five felony counts are battery against police officers or jailers, and another felony for allegedly destroying jail equipment, and misdemeanor charges of battery, indecent exposure and malicious injury to property.
She was a mean drunk.
The defendant was formally charged with the crimes on Nov. 3 in Blaine County Magistrate Court. Bond was set at $100,000 and public defender Douglas Werth was appointed to represent Brutsche-Ely.
I’d be lying if I told you I wasn’t very, very, VERY concerned about this:
When has a Civilian National Security Force ever been a good thing?
CNSFs like the one Obama and Emanuel are talking about have been proposed or implemented in places like Cuba, the Soviet Union, China, Venezuela, North Korea and East Germany. Why on earth would we want to mimic countries like those? I don’t understand their reasoning. Have Bush’s policies failed to keep us safe for the past eight years?
I don’t care if it’s ODS to strongly object to plans like this one. Considering Obama’s radical background; especially his friendship with unrepentant terrorists, William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, the concern is justified.
The time has come for conservatives to learn how to organize like the loony left. Their side just won. The inmates are now running the asylum. We 48 percenters are going to have to become a lot more vocal, which I realize goes against our very natures. But we can’t sit at home and allow these dangerous policies to be implemented. I’m talking about nationwide mass demonstrations if anything like this, or the fairness doctrine, (or any number of other things) are attempted.

I am a student of history. Professionally. I have written 15 books in six languages, and have studied it all my life. I think there is something monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is just a banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes these exist, but they are merely single facets on a very large gemstone that is only now coming into a sharper focus.
Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it. Yes, a perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our country that has been evolving for about ten – fifteen years. The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two.
We demand and then codify into law the requirement that our banks make massive loans to people we know they can never pay back? Why?
We learn just days ago that the Federal Reserve, which has little or no real oversight by anyone, has “loaned” two trillion dollars (that is $2,000,000,000,000) over the past few months, but will not tell us to whom or why or disclose the terms. That is our money. Yours and mine. And that is three times the 700B we all argued about so strenuously just this past September. Who has this money? Why do they have it? Why are the terms unavailable to us? Who asked for it? Who authorized it? I thought this was a government of “we the people,” who loaned our powers to our elected leaders. Apparently not.
We have spent two or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our economy. Why?
We have intentionally dumbed down our schools, ignored our history, and no longer teach our founding documents, why we are exceptional, and why we are worth preserving. Students by and large cannot write, think critically, read, or articulate. Parents are not revolting, teachers are not picketing, school boards continue to back mediocrity. Why?

A terror war battle that we can still win, despite a president-elect who does not want to fight
Rational people still want to defeat the Islamofascist enemy, but half of the electorate will now get its way in pretending that there is no enemy. Exposing and stopping the terrorist Memorial to flight 93 is a chance for the rest of us to still achieve victory, and on multiple fronts at once. Not only can we foil an enemy plot, but we can at the same time expose the willful blindness of those peace-at-any-cost countrymen who are engaged in blatant cover-up of the most damning facts about the crescent design.
These are the two battles we need to win. We have to expose and stop the deceptive agents of Islamic conquest, and we have to expose and stop the peacenik cover-up of every enemy threat.
We also need to stop the re-hijacking of Flight 93 for its own sake. Just listen to Mr. Burnett’s insistence on a proper memorial for his son Tom and the other heroes. Yes, the battle over the memorial is only symbolic, but as our Democrat-controlled media just proved by delivering Obama to the presidency, it is the information war that ultimately determines everything.
To those conservatives who have been staying away from the memorial controversy, please reconsider. All of our claims about the Memorial are easy to verify. This is a real attack on our country, and in the age of Obama, it is a rare battle that we are still in a position to win. The father of one of America’s greatest heroes is pleading for your help, but he is also offering tremendous help, if you will only hear him out.
