Krauthammer: WH Saying Benghazi Was ‘A Long Time Ago’ The Definition Of Chutzpah (Video)

Are the WH lies are finally starting to catch up to them? Will they eventually have to pay a price for their obvious corruption? Is Carney capable of shame or embarrassment?

I don’t know how he can even face himself in the mirror each morning, let alone the WH press corps. Not that the WH press corps is exactly a daunting thing  for any of the Regime’s lying toadies to face. Most of them are happy to circle the wagons for their Precious.

But still.

Krauthammer said it was the definition of chutzpah for the Carney to go out there after the WH stonewalled for nearly eight months, and say, “Benghazi was a long time ago.”

He’s got a point about “running out the clock.” All of Obama’s scandals have an expiration date. At some point Republicans have to  give up on one outrage and focus on another.  So Obama always has some cute little memorized rote answer to any scandal that he’ll use until the clock runs out. After eight months, the part of his spiel where he vows to track down those who perpetrated the crime and bring them to justice, was sounding pretty stale. Pathetic really. So the FBI found three persons of interest in Libya to take the focus off  Obama’s incompetence.

Yet Fox News’ Adam Housely reports “multiple” sources say the U.S. already knows who the mastermind behind the Benghazi attacks is, and we are allowing him to walk free in Libya.

Via Maggie’s Notebook:

The “whistleblower” report below is in Special Ops and was an “eye-witness” on the ground in Benghazi the night of the attacks, September 11, 2012. He says we had Quick Response Forces in Tripoli and did not use them, and we had a “Commanders and Extremist Force” just three hours away in Croatia. Read that transcript, Part 1, here. The following is Part 2.

Counting the minutes to the hearings, next week.

IBDObama Not Familiar With “Benghazi Whistle-Blower” Threats

Accountability: Administration officials actually need to lawyer up to reveal the truth about the Benghazi disaster that left our ambassador and three others dead. This from “the most transparent administration in history.”

Benghazi is a huge scandal waiting to engulf the Obama administration if the eyewitness-backed facts of incompetence and negligence ever make it into public view. But when asked about it, the president, speaking to reporters on Tuesday, insulted the intelligence of the American public.

Pressed about “people in your own State Department saying they’ve been blocked from coming forward, that they survived the terror attack and they want to tell their story,” and asked if he would “help them come forward,” the Smartest Guy In The Room condescendingly feigned ignorance.

“I’m not familiar with this notion that anybody’s been blocked from testifying,” Obama claimed. “So what I’ll do is I will find out what exactly you’re referring to.”

Yeah, get back to ya on that one.

The president knew full well what was being asked. But it’s never good to reveal knowledge of what his underlings are doing to make him happy.

Carney Accuses Whistleblower Lawyer of Spreading Misinformation as He Spreads Misinformation About Clearance Requests

Since Benghazi happened “such a long time ago” White House Press Sec. Jay Carney obviously didn’t even want to bothered with it today in his daily press briefing.

But Fox News’ Ed Henry asked, so Carney told him “both the State Department and Department of Defense have made clear that they are not aware of any requests for a security clearance for a private attorney.”

Unbelievable since it was only YESTERDAY that House Oversight and Reform Committee Chairman Issa released the FOUR letters he has written requesting that the Administration make information available for lawyers representing Benghazi whistleblowers:

“A lawyer for Benghazi whistleblowers has publicly stated that the State Department is blocking her client’s ability to talk freely with counsel.  Over the past two weeks, I have sent four letters requesting that this Administration make information available about how lawyers – who already have security clearances and are representing Benghazi whistleblowers – can be cleared to fully hear their clients’ stories. I have yet to receive any response from the Obama Administration.

The State Department has also denied that employees were being intimidated if they provided new information about the attacks to Congress, but since members of this Regime lie about everything, why should we believe them?

“The State Department is deeply committed to meeting its obligation to protect employees, and the State Department would never tolerate — tolerate or sanction — retaliation against whistle-blowers on any issue, including this one,” spokesman Patrick Ventrell told reporters at a briefing on Tuesday. “That’s an obligation we take very seriously — full stop.

Uh huh.

Carney actually accused Victoria Toensing, the lawyer who is representing one of the State Department employees, of spreading misinformation and politicizing this issue. {{{Attack-Watch!}}}

Toensing responded to the slander today. She finally got a letter, forwarded to her from Chairman Issa, dated May 1 from the State Dept. responding to the request for clearance of which the White House claims they were “unaware”.  The letter stated they routinely give clearances and referred her to a legal advisor’s office, which thus far has been giving her the run-around.

Toensing also noted that it’s the lawyers who should get the clearance.  “Why are they asking for this employee to come in and expose herself/himself?” she asked.

She said she couldn’t predict whether or not they would be able to get the clearance they need, but she promised that she wouldn’t give up.

Unbelieveable what we’re living through, right now, folks.

Video: 3 More Arrested in Boston Bombing Case

So much for the “Lone Wolf” theory we keep hearing about.

Ed Morrissey of Hot Air has been on this breaking story:

According to CBS News, the arrested are three friends of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Two will be charged with conspiracy to obstruct justice and making false statement. They are not U.S. citizens.

According to WBZ-TV’s Karen Anderson, their names are Azamat Tazhayakov and Dias Kadyrbayev.  Both are originally from Kazakhstan and attended the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth with Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

The third suspect, according to CBS News, is an American citizen and he will be charged with making false statements.

How stupid do you have to be to obstruct an investigation of a terrorist bombing?  Either you have to be monumentally stupid — or involved in the plot.

According to CNN, they just helped Dzhokhar get rid of … fireworks-filled backpacks:

– A federal law enforcement official told CNN on Wednesday that the charges against two of the individuals taken into custody involve allegedly lying to officials, because when first questioned by the FBI they lied about not seeing the suspects and not knowing their whereabouts after the attack.

– The federal law enforcement source said the charge of conspiring to obstruct justice relates to their moving things from Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s dorm room and throwing them into a dumpster. The source said the objects disposed of included fireworks inside backpacks. The trash bin subsequently was taken to a nearby landfill. Authorities carried out a two-day search of the landfill in New Bedford late last week.

So  after the Boston bombing, they dumped backpacks full of fireworks material in the dumpster? As Morrissey notes, maybe they weren’t bright enough to put two and two together. But after the FBI showed up at their door, if they were innocent of collusion, why wouldn’t they have told them about the backpacks?
