Robert Zimmerman, the older brother of George Zimmerman, told Bill Hemmer on America’s Newsroom that the Zimmerman family has concerned that their phones may be tapped by this administration due to the ongoing investigation of George Zimmerman after his acquittal last week.
Robert said the family is texting George and not calling him so that they don’t give away his location.
A witch hunt is now officially in progress.

The U.S. Department of Justice on Monday afternoon appealed to civil rights groups and community leaders, nationally and in Sanford, for help investigating whether a federal criminal case might be brought against George Zimmerman for the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, one advocate said.
The DOJ has also set up a public email address to take in tips on its civil rights investigation.
Barbara Arnwine, president and executive director the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law – who earlier in the day joined calls for federal civil rights charges against Zimmerman, said that later in the afternoon, she joined a U.S. Department of Justice conference call to discuss the prospects.
“They were calling on us to actively refer anyone who had any information,” that might build a case against Zimmerman for either a civil rights violation or a hate crime, Arnwine said. “They said they would very aggressively investigate this case.”
Despite the verdict, Angela Corey still says George Zimmerman is a ‘murderer’.
I’m not an attorney but this strikes me as something a prosecutor probably should not do after a verdict. George Zimmerman was acquitted of 2nd degree murder (and manslaughter) on Saturday. Yet when asked to describe Zimmerman in one word on CNN’s HLN, Corey chose the word “murderer.”
And Zimmerman’s parents are in hiding after recieving death threats.
Robert Zimmerman says he and his wife have received threats including “everyone of Geroge’s DNA should be killed…Just every kind of horrible thing you could imagine.” Asked if they needed to live in hiding, Gladys Zimmerman answered simply “Yes.” Robert Zimmerman added “My wife’s brothers have no idea where we live.”
At the core of Walters’ interview was the subject of race. Both parents deny that they or their son are racist, noting that nearly every member of the family on both sides is part of a mixed race couple. Asked by Walters to explain the hatred directed at them and their son, Robert Zimmerman gave his most extended answer:
“I never thought that we would see so much hatred…And the hatred is not brought on by any racial incident. It was brought on by attorneys being totally untruthful. Other people involved having a certain narrative, having a certain agenda and making this situation race-based and a political issue.
And rather tell people that our Justice system worked – Zimmerman has been found innocent by a jury of his peers who were in the court room and saw all the evidence – Holder and Obama and the race-baiting industry are fanning the flames. It’s so irresponsible.
Violent Crime Against Whites Is Up 18% In Last Year. And it has probably gone up more since the Zimmerman verdict was announced.

A 34-year-old Wauwatosa man told Milwaukee police that he was repeatedly punched Sunday, unprovoked, and heard one of the his assailants refer to Trayvon Martin during the beating.
The man, who was identified in media reports as Christopher Simpson, was attacked about 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the 2600 block of W. Cherry St. in Milwaukee. He told police he was punched in the back of the head, and then several other suspects punched and kicked him when he fell to the ground.

A waiter in Oakland, California was hit in the head with a hammer while attempting to stop a protester from smashing the windows of a restaurant.
“A Flora Restaurant and Bar waiter was hit in the face with a hammer and bleeding, according to tweets from reporters with the Bay Area News Group, which includes the Oakland Tribune and San Jose Mercury News. The same restaurant had its windows broken over the weekend in similar protests,” reports the LA Times.

The jury in the trial of George Zimmerman has spoken. Evidently, their verdict is not satisfactory to the racial hucksters and demagogues. Leading the pack, as usual, is Reverend Al Sharpton, whose own role in the Tawana Brawley debacle has not worked to discredit anything he says for the media.
“An atrocity,” Sharpton called it, “one of the worst situations that I’ve seen. … We had to march to even get a trial, and then at trial when he’s exposed over and over again as a liar, he is acquitted. This is a sad day in the country. A slap in the face to those that believe in justice in this country.” Later, he added: “We intend to ask the Department of Justice to move forward as they did in the Rodney King case and we will closely monitor the civil case against Mr. Zimmerman. I will convene an emergency call with preachers tonight to discuss next steps and I intend to head to Florida in the next few days.”
The Reverend Al, as he is called by his supporters, was joined in a call for a Department of Justice indictment of George Zimmerman for violating Trayvon Martin’s civil rights by Ben Jealous, head of the NAACP. “We are outraged and heartbroken over today’s verdict,” Jealous said in a statement. “We will pursue civil rights charges with the Department of Justice, we will continue to fight for the removal of Stand Your Ground laws in every state and we will not rest until racial profiling in all its forms is outlawed. … The most fundamental of civil rights — the right to life — was violated the night George Zimmerman stalked and then took the life of Trayvon Martin.”The problem that Sharpton and Jealous have is that the FBI already had investigated the case, and could not come up with any proof that racial hatred was what motivated Zimmerman to follow Martin. Indeed, George Zimmerman was shown to have mentored black children, and to have publicly complained about police actions that he thought were unfair to the African-American community. His best friend is a black man. The tragedy that developed was hardly the same as when white cops were found to have beaten Rodney King and used unnecessary and brutal force out of racial animus.
Joining the attempt to fan the flames of discontent among the African-American community were a slew of liberal writers, led by Michael Tomasky at The Daily Beast. Like many others of his ilk, Tomasky seems to think America is back in the early ’60s, when racial segregation existed and the Southern states were in command of a racist Democratic Party whose leaders sought to preserve the system of segregation at all costs. Indeed, he argues that under President Obama, America’s racial divide has gotten worse.
It sure has. His presidency has been an unmitigated disaster for race relations in this country.
