Fox News Political Insiders: Complicit Media and Stupid Party To Blame For Obama’s Stabilized Approval Numbers (Video)

Today, Fox News’ “Political Insiders” Pat Caddell, John LeBoutillier, Doug Schoen, discussed the reason for Obama’s stabilized approval numbers. Pat Caddell has been pounding Republicans for their totally inadequate response to all of Obama’s scandals (which should have buried him, by now imo.) He said it’s like watching the Washington Generals go against the Harlem Globe trotters. “They’re so bad… this week they just wholesale surrendered in the Senate”, he said, referring to the filibuster deal.

There’s “no effective opposition, and no one protecting the truth”,  LeBoutillier lamented, “the media is supposed to check incumbent office holders.”

But it’s worse than that, Caddell argued, “they are purposely playing on his team by keeping facts away from the American people that they need to know.”

Still, even with the media in the Democrats’ pocket, why are the Republicans failing so badly with so much low hanging fruit around?

They’re the “Stupid Party” was their only explanation. I guess I’m officially a “political Insider” myself, because that’s long been my analysis.

As far as I’m concerned, the Oversight and Reform Committee is one of the best things we have going for us, but Caddell expressed extreme frustration at the “incompetent”  manner in which they’re  holding their IRS hearings. “It will be about the time my grandchildren graduate from college before anyone finds out enough about it,” he fumed.

(Some Republicans are stepping on the gas, I should note – Rep. Trey Gowdy, for instance says it’s absolute balderdash to think the White House WASN’T involved in the scandal, and Rep Jason Chaffetz said on the record that he personally thinks that the president himself was involved. )

I’m pretty sure I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating. Back in May, I was absolutely positive that Obama was in deep trouble – a critically wounded lame duck whose agenda was toast for his second term. It was time for Repubs to drop everything, and devote  their time to undoing the Regime’s  damage and investigating its many scandals. No more reaching across the aisle and playing nice with this wretched hive of scum and villainy.

But nooooo, they’ve been working with Democrats on immigration,  making bad deals, and confirming Obama’s nightmarishly bad cabinet choices. What. the. eff?!

Sen. Ted Cruz with Jonathan Karl on ‘This Week’ (Video)

Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz appeared on ABC’s “This Week” with Jonathan Karl dismissed talk of a potential 2016 White House bid, among other things.

Karl asked Cruz to comment on every insult and slur that has ever been thrown his way, which is par for the course for Republicans. I like Jonathan Karl, but could you imagine him or any other reporter asking John Kerry how he feels about being called “Lurch”? Can you imagine him asking the Vice President what he thinks about being called “Joey Choo Choo”, and being a general laughingstock, or asking how the president feels about being called a liar, or a narcissist? These types of disrespectful questions are always saved for Republicans.

Unless of course the Democrat has completely disgraced himself in epic fashion like Client #9 Eliot Spitzer, or Anthony Weiner….

Guys like that do get a little bit of a comeuppance from the media, but it doesn’t last for long, and if your name is Bill Clinton, it doesn’t happen, at all.

(By the way, as much as he demurs when asked,  I think Cruz is definitely running.)
