Ted Cruz on Fox News: Obama Should Apologize For ObamaCare and Do Something To Fix It (Video)

There are five specific questions dealing with the IRS, NSA and Benghazi scandals, ObamaCare, and jobs, that Senator Ted Cruz would like the president to answer in his State of the Union speech, Tuesday.
Today the Texas Senator talked to Gretchen Carlson of Fox about questions he (and many Americans would like answers to).
On Obamacare, he reiterated his assertion that Obama should apologize for lying about ObamaCare, saying “over 5 million people trusted President Obama when he said ‘if you like your health insurance plan you can keep it; if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.’ We now know that statement wasn’t true, and if he was actually taking responsibility for his action, he would number one say I am sorry, but then number two, he would act to fix it. Empty words don’t mean a whole lot.”  He went on to say, “for President Obama’s apology to mean something… he’s got to stop making it worse.”

On Benghazi, he noted that “Hillary Clinton today says she regrets that four brave Americans lost their lives… but at the same time, she doesn’t want to do anything to fix it. If she really was sorry, then she would stand up and join me and 22 other Senators calling for a joint select committee in Congress to investigate… why nobody has been held accountable.”

“A little over a year ago”, he continued, “President Obama said nobody cares more than I do about Benghazi. To the best of my recollection, that was the last time president Obama ever uttered the word Benghazi. If he was telling the truth… then I would expect thattomorrow he would call for some accountability now.”

Unfortunately, the chances of the president taking Ted Cruz’s advice and talking about these issues are close to nil.

Obama is president to liberal Democrats. Period. The rest of us can kiss off, as far as he’s concerned.

  1. The only people that believe in Obama are the ones who benefited financially such as unemployment lifers, welfare lifers, those seeking free cell phones, Illegal immigrants,an lets not forget those friends.he placed in his cabinet an who gained financially from federal contracts.
I understand politicians play favorites an take care of their own but Comrade Obama has taken this to a whole new level.
