Video: Fox Profiles GZ Mosque Developer, Sharif El Gamal

Earlier today on Fox, Megan Kelly  featured a story  about Sharif El Gamal, the waiter turned real estate mogul. Finally, media outlets are doing their jobs, and asking where the money is coming from:

iOWNTHEWORLD is hot on the money trail of  Hisham Elzanaty, the co-signer on the Burlington Coat Factory mortgage.

Sharif  don’t like it:

Sorry, that song pops into my head every time I hear that name.

  1. Nice Deb,
I am confused, (1) does Soho Properties own the building or half of the building? (2) Does Con Edison own a building or half a building, (3) is there one building or are there two buildings (4) are there any leases on the property(s) and is it at 45 Park or 51 Park?

  2. There are two buildings. 49-51 Park Place, which El Gamal currently leases, is owned by Con Ed.
Soho Properties owns the building at 45-47 Park Place.

49-51 has an estimated value of $10 million to $20 million, which El Gamal will no doubt have no trouble raising…the question is – from who?

  3. The members of the Clash would be appalled at your use of their song to spread religious intolerance. Perhaps you might turn your attention to Fox’s Saudi partner to see where a significant portion of the project’s funds are coming from.

I love how Christian-bashing libs are now oh-so concerned about “religious intolerance”.

No concern what-so-ever for the sensibilities of people who lost loved ones on 9/11 to a murderous Islamist ideology. (no, I’m not saying that all Muslims are murderers —but that shouldn’t have to be explained, you’re just such a stupid shit, I have to explain the obvious) Let’s all pretend there’s no connection between Islam and radical Islam.

We’ll just pretend 9/11 didn’t happen, and there’s nothing insensitive at all about building a mosque right in the shadow of the attack.

There’s no tolerance on their side whatsoever for our (2/3s of Americans’) feelings.

But to the addled moonbat brain, we’re the intolerant ones.

    I’m not.
That said, it wasn’t exactly representative of their best work, either. The Only Band That Mattered wasn’t known for shying away from politics, and I never took it as a pro-arab song.

I don’t suppose you could get some outrage of your own without speaking for others, could you Mal?

    I didn’t think so.
