Video: NBPP Leader Malik “Zulu” Shabazz Lies and Spins Throughout Megyn Kelly Interview

This is a somewhat tougher interview for Malik Zulu Shabazz than the one he did with Mediaite’s Tommy Christopher:

Part one:

Part Two:

A couple of things…

#1: Even though Megyn Kelly managed to elicit from Shabazz an admission that King Samir Shabazz violated “the organization’s” rules by carrying that nightsick, (which he joked about in a private meeting with New Black Panthers)…”little Shabazz” has been welcomed back to the fold with open arms. Video here.

#2: He said Megyn  mischaracterized his words, as quoted by Nagee Muhammad, and  claimed Muhammad is not affiliated with the the NBPP -(see 5:00 in the 1st video).

ORLY?

Exibit 1: Nagee was affiliated enough to be a featured speaker at the NBPP sponsored Black Power convention in May of this year..

Exibit 2: NBPP Crocket County, TN, Website:

Statement of The New Black Panther Party For Self Defense on the Plot to Kill Barack Obama and Black Schoolchildren in Tennessee and on Black voter intimidation of Blacks Nationwide”

“We will not allow some racists and other angry whites, who are getting upset over an impending Barack Obama Presidential victory to intimidate Blacks at the polls.  Most certainly we cannot allow these racist forces to slaughter our babies or commit other acts of violence against the Black population, nor our Black President.  We must organize to counter and neutralize these threats using all means at our disposal.  This is a great time for our people and we must ensure that peace prevails for our people.”

“We love Barack Obama, he gives our people great hope and light for advancement!  Every President America has had has been a white man, now the Black Man must be given his time to rule.  Obama is a man of justice and a leader who wants to do right.  We warn you, leave Barack Obama alone and leave our babies alone because Black People are a spiritual people and a people who are trying to do right and we will not hesitate to take up our legal rights of self defense, this case in Crockett County Tennessee is not isolated.  ON ELECTION DAY, TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4th, We will be at the polls in the cities and counties in many states to ensure that the enemy does not sabotage the black vote, which was won through the blood of martyrs the of our people”

Black Power!

Statement by Dr. Malik Shabazz, Esq, leader of Black Lawyers For Justice and attorney for the New Black Panther Party for Self Defense. Delivered by Minister Najee Muhammad (NBPP National Field Marshall) and Minister Hashim Nzinga (NBPP National Chief of Staff)

Exibit 3: News/Talk 101.5 out of Jackson, TN reported on these events just prior to election day 2008:

These are photos of Minister Najee Muhammad and his soldiers from the NBPP.

Skinhead Arrests bring Black Panthers
to Alamo TN

by Keith Sherley

Keith Sherley was the only reporter in the crowd as Panthers spoke to the residents gathered. Attached is an audio clip from part of that rally.

Impromptu gathering on the street
prior to the press conference

New Black Panther National Field Marshall Najee Muhammad meets Alamo Police Officer Patrolman Cole and shows him the recruitment flyer from the NBP Party. They discuss the ideals of the Party as Panther Soldiers look on and watch the area. Patrol Officer Cole greets a few of those beginning to gather:

CASE CLOSED.

Malik “Zulu” Shabazz was engaging in a little taqiyya with Ms. Kelly, not that she was fooled for a minute.

One more thing:

#3: Once upon a time, team Obama wanted nothing to do with this motley crew. When Malik Zulu Shabazz put up a Black Panther webpage on the My Barack Obama website in March of 2008, a (right-wing) media firestorm erupted, and the Obama campaign quickly took it down, and pretended it was a hoax:

Post from Sam Graham-Felsen’s Blog:

Response to Fox News “story”
By Sam Graham-Felsen – Mar 19, 2008 9:30:21 PM ET

Apparently, today was a slow news day.

So Fox News evidently decided to pore through our millions of user-created pages on My.BarackObama.com and put a screenshot of inflammatory content on the front page of FoxNews.com.

You see, more than 700,000 people have created accounts on the system. You can create one right now if you choose, in about a minute — anyone can.

Now, from time to time people get up to no good — creating fake profiles (like one for Sean Hannity created today), or posting profane or inappropriate content. When they do, the community reports the offending content and if it violates our terms of service it is removed (as the Sean Hannity profile was).

My.BarackObama.com has been at the core of our bottom-up organizing strategy. The tools available have been put to work by a community of supporters that is bigger and more powerful than anything presidential politics has ever seen.

Evidently, Fox News didn’t think it was a big deal that hundreds of thousands of ordinary Americans are participating in the democratic process creating groups and local events in communities all across the country.

But they did think it was a big deal that one random person on the Internet, without the knowledge of the Obama campaign, posted a profile in the system with the image of the New Black Panther Party on it.

When we were alerted of the existence of this page, we pulled it down. Yet even after we pulled the page, Fox News continues to disingenuously and prominently feature this “story” on their homepage.

Shabazz wasn’t offended by the brush-off, according to Aaron Klein, who interviewed him about it:

The removal by the Barack Obama campaign from its official website of an endorsement from the black supremacist New Black Panther Party, or NBPP, was decided upon for “understandable political reasons,” according to the party’s national chairman.

“It’s the game of politics,” the NBPP’s Malik Zulu Shabazz told WND. “The Obama camp’s move to remove our blog doesn’t mean much because I understand politics. We still completely support Obama as the best candidate.”

Just a year later, the Obama Justice Dept. dropped a clear-cut case of voter intimidation against the now favored, and protected group.

You see? It WAS a “story”.
