Uh oh, Jake Tapper is reporting:

Asked if controversial White House official Van Jones continues to enjoy the confidence of President Obama given recent revelations about his involvement with those who suggest the Bush administration knew about the 9/11 attacks and allowed them to happen in order to justify a war for oil, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs Friday morning would only say “he continues to work in this administration.”

as long as the majority of the media ignore who this wackjob is and what he believes. This admin seems to revel at having tax cheats and crazies working for them, and, heck, a good chunk of the Defeatocrat base are Twoofers.

I was thinking that  a Friday night news dump before a holiday weekend would be the ideal time, but what do I know?

  3. Buswatch, ha! Makes me think of LOST when Juliet’s hubby got run over. Not that I would ever condone violence… or laugh at it. But then, I forgot, it’s my nature to be violent because I’m a conservative. So, yeah, I’ll watch the bus hit him.

    Hussein Obama is unfit to be the US President. He needs to be impeached. Otherwise, we’ll only be dealing with the symptoms and not the disease.

    The follow-up question should have been, "Why? Why does he continue to work in this administration?"

    Of course, that would involve reporters actually, you know, doing THEIR JOBS.

    And JaneLovesJesus is right… throwing Jones under the bus would just be a formality. Van would still have Zero's ear, he just wouldn't have a salary paid for by taxpayers.

    All of these "czars" need to be vetted. The positions that require Congressional approval sit empty, while Obama appoints czar after czar after czar. Because he knows very few (if any) of his cronies would pass muster if they were actually investigated.

  8. This is only the beginning. Once this thing starts cracking open, and it will, there will be a lot more of these clowns exposed to the light of day. Valerie Jarrett has a very, shall we say, interesting past.

  9. All “normal” presidents would get rid of him this weekend. I don’t think it will happen before Chairman Zero’s perceives himself mortally wounded (Net -30 Rasmussen).

    * His megalomania will not allow him to get rid of Jones because of inquiries initiated by the Right. He will perceive himself weakened by the Right;
    * He knows the Right will not stop at Jones. Sunsteen, Holdren and Jarrett are next; others to follow;
    * It would trigger a revolt from his Leftist base, lead by Pelosi and Waxman. This would be difficult to manage with their current “Public Option” rebellion.

    I could be all wrong on this. The interesting question is this – does Chairman Zero care about being perceived as “moderate” anymore? I don’t think so; he appears to be taunting moderates lately.

    Because Obama knew exactly what Jones was all about and he viewed his beliefs not as a bug but a feature.

    Obama is not a liberal, he’s a Marxist. It’s well passed time that people started opening their eyes to the evidence that is in front of them and what is happening to this country right before our eyes before it’s too late.
