Benjamin Franklin

Video: Millertime On O’Reilly, Election Edition

Tonight Miller had some choice bon mots worth sharing: Christy, “the governor who ate NJ”, “Dede Joey Buttafucco”, Obama’s got “coat tails like a naked midget”, Nancy Pelosi’s “sub-reptilian intellect”, etc. And Miller was only getting started on Pelosi….

Enjoy:

Do you ever get the idea Dennis Miller’s none too fond of Nancy Pelosi? I do.

Video: Judge Napolitano Warns Michele Bachmann That Nancy Pelosi May “Make Things Difficult” For Folks Coming To DC Rally

Michele Bachmann appeared on Fox again to repeat her call for “freedom loving Americans” to travel to the Capitol tomorrow, to express their disapproval of the health care bill the House Democrats are trying to pass, this weekend.

Of note: At the 4:53 mark, Judge Napolitano, filling in for Glenn Beck warns Michele that according to a friend in the intelligence community, the possibility exists that Nancy Pelosi will make the security requirements almost impossible for people to make it to the Rally:

Video: Nancy Pelosi Positively Giddy Over Election Night Results

Gateway Pundit reports that Nancy Pelosi rejoiced today saying, “We won last night.”  He notes:

They lost the Virginia gubernatorial race by 18 points in a state Barack Obama won by 6 points last year.
They lost the New Jersey gubernatorial race by 4 points in a state Barack Obama won by 15 points last year.

And she’s claiming a victory for Dems?

I had to find the video and hear it for myself:

“From our perspective, we won last night,” the California Democrat told reporters during a Wednesday photo op. “We had one race that we were engaged in, it was in northern New York, it was a race where a Republican has held the seat since the Civil War. And we won that seat. So, from our standpoint, no, a candidate was victorious who supports health care reform, and his remarks last night said this was a victory for health care reform and other initiatives for the American people.”

It’s an ominous sign that she sees the NY-23 race as “a victory for health-care reform and other initiatives”, never mind the fact that Democrat Bill Owens campaigned against the public option. This is all the more reason to answer Michelle Bachmann’s call and head out to DC, tomorrow to protest ObamaCare if at all possible. You can also protest at your home state’s capital, *or your member’s district office if a trip to DC is too much.

As for her bogus claim that the Owens win was a first for a Dem in that district “since the Civil War”…Please – are all Democrats using Daily Kos talking points, now?

It turns out Democrat Michael R. McNulty represented NY-23 from 1989-1993.

By the way:

I didn’t mean to ignore the Michael Steele portion of the video. I just didn’t find anything noteworthy about it.

Well!

At least in that video clip. But George Stephanopoulos is reporting that at that same news conference:

Steele Throws Elbow to Palin, Pawlenty on NY-23

But he also seemed to deliver a bit of a rebuke to potential 2012 presidential aspirants in his party such as Sarah Palin, Tim Pawlenty, and Rick Santorum, all of whom immersed themselves in the NY-23 special House race with their endorsements and support for conservative Doug Hoffman who came up short last night.

“If you don’t live in the district, you don’t vote there, your opinion doesn’t matter very much,” Steele said while assessing the intra-party strife that resulted in a Democratic pick up of a seat held by Republicans since the Civil War.

*Groan*

*I added “your member’s district office” as an alternative to going to DC, as that is what Congressional Republicans have been suggesting, today, if you can’t make it to DC.

Once Again: Massive Protests Against Iranian Regime

Protesters marched again today in Tehran against the brutal regime on the 30 Year Anniversary of the siege on the US Embassy in Tehran.  Iranian dissidents chanted: “Obama, Obama, Are you with the regime or with us?” :

I feel bad for these folks. The answer to that question was made clear by his lack of support for their cause, last summer.

New Obama-Cult Videos Appear

Via Big Government’s John Nolte, who has posted eleven new school Obama-cult videos which have recently appeared in his email box.

This video’s title: “Barack Obama is Our New President”

Performed: Friday, February 13, 2009 Harmony Leland Elementary School, Mableton, GA

You may recognize the tune – “Go Tell It On The Mountain”, a Christmas song celebrating the birth of  Jesus.

The lyrics to Barack Obama Is Our New President:

Barack Obama is our new President
Barack Obama is the leader of our land

On November 4, 2008
All the Americans voted
In each and every state

Barack Obama is our new President
Barack Obama is the leader of our land

He moved into the white house
With his wife, Michelle
His daughters, Malia and Sasha
And new dog as well

Barack Obama is our new President
Barack Obama is the leader of our land

He’ll bring us all together
And work hard every day
To make our nation better
And keep our people safe

Barack Obama is our new President
Barack Obama is the leader of our land

In the oval office
From sea to shining sea
He’ll represent our country
The land and the free

Barack Obama is our new President
Barack Obama is the leader of our land

John Nolte notes:

What seemed like an aberration now appears to be a troubling pattern.

Maybe “epidemic” is a better word.
