Mark Levin To Obama Regime: ‘You Lay One Hand On Those 80 – 90 Year Old Men At That WWII Memorial And I’ll Lead an Effort To Get Hundreds Of Thousands Of People There’

Mark Levin, appalled by the Community Activist in Chief’s attempt to turn the Nation’s memorials into bad optics he can blame on Republicans, had this today on his radio show, via Gateway Pundit:

I want to say this loud and clear to the people on Capitol Hill who are listening, to this administration. You lay one damn hand on one of those World War II vets at that memorial and I’ll bring half a million people to that damn memorial! You got that?!

I’m sitting here stewing thinking about this – playing these damn games? You’ll ignite a movement in this country like you’ve never seen before! The biker patriot army – veterans from all over the country, every single war and battle in this country, Republican, Democrat, Independent, whatever!

I’ll be damned if one president, with his feet up on the desk in the oval office, with a smirk on his face, looking at his golf card…I’ll be damned if this president or anybody else is going to shut down that WWII memorial. Period! These men are in their 80s and 90s.

So let me repeat! You lay one hand on one of those men and arrest them for going to their memorial, which they fought for, which was not paid by you dammit, it was paid by the American people – we will come out of every town and city in this nation! We will come out of every county. And both coasts! Both borders! And we will march on Washington against your tyranny!

You’ve been warned!

A world class rant worthy of the times we’re living in:

Reid: Why Would We Want To Pass A Bill To Help Children With Cancer? (Video)

More stunningly bad optics for the Dems. When asked by Dana Bash at CNN why he isn’t willing to help even one child who has cancer, Reid responded “Why would we want to do that?”

BASH: But if you can help one child with cancer, why wouldn’t you do it?

REID: Why would we want to do that? I have 1100 people at Nellis Air Force Base sitting home. They have problems of their own.

Reid then attacked Bash’s intelligence, “For someone of your intelligence to suggest such a thing is irresponsible.”

What?!

We need more of this. We need more Obama, Reid, and Pelosi in front of the cameras showing us who they really are. They are our best weapon right now.

NRSC: Are All Memorials Closed To Veterans?

Via The Daily Caller:

Appearing before the memorial, hours after World War II veterans passed through the Park Service’s barricade, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus announced that the committee has put aside enough money to hire 5 full-time security personnel for the next 30 days to keep the memorial open.

“Make no mistake, it was the Obama administration’s choice to barricade this memorial and it was their choice to lock out veterans across this country,” Preibus said.

The Great Government ShutDown Is Becoming Public Relations Debacle For Regime

On day two of the Great Government Shut Down, WWII veterans once again crossed the Regime’s barricades to enter into their memorial.

Although Dingy Harry Reid tried to blame the memorial shutdowns on the GOP, earlier today, a spokesman from the National Park Service has confirmed that it was the White House OMB that ordered the barricades.

On Hannity, last night Rand Paul said Some Government ‘Idiot’ Sent ‘Goons’ To Barricade WWII Memorial. But that was before we found out that the WH OMB was behind it. Moments ago on The Mike Huckabee Show, he said, (paraphrasing) ‘the President assigned 5 sec guards to protect WWII memorial – that’s 2 more than he had in Benghazi’…

Meanwhile, according to According to the Washington Examiner’s Charlie Spieringtwo more groups of veterans are planning to break through the barriers, World War II veterans from Missouri and Kansas will arrive Wednesday morning to visit the memorial and about 12 members of Congress plan to join them.

That is not all. There are over 35,000 veterans scheduled to visit the memorial during the month of October, more than 900 in the next five days alone.

Honor Flight of Northwest Ohio has a trip scheduled to depart from Toledo on Oct. 9, according to local reports.

The Honor Flight of Northwest Ohio President Lee Armstrong was told that his group of WWII veterans would face arrest if they tried to cross the barricades.

He says they are considering going ahead with the trip even if the government is still on shutdown, but when he called the parks service, he was told they would face arrest. “I said, are you kidding me? You’re going to arrest a 90/91-year-old veteran from seeing his memorial? If it wasn’t for them it wouldn’t be there. She said, ‘That’s correct sir.’”

When Armstrong asked for her name, he says she did not give it to him and then promptly hung up the phone.

Meanwhile, the WH Deputy Press Secretary is Tweeting WWII Memorial ‘Ransom Notes’:

The American public is getting a very good look once again at Chicago-style hard-ball politics, and I doubt they like what they’re seeing. In fact, I think maybe the best thing we’ve got going for our side right now, is Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Barack Obama.

The Colonial Williamsburg-type historical recreation never closed through all the shutdowns of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Because, of course, it was self-sufficient, as it charges money for entry, and keeps (shock!) a balanced budget.

The difference this time?

Obama, Reid, and Pelosi. And the Unified Caucus of the Leftist Media.

The National Park Service has ordered the closure of a Virginia park that sits on federal land, even though the government provides no resources for its maintenance or operation. The Claude Moore Colonial Farm announced on Wednesday that NPS has ordered it to suspend operations until Congress agrees to a deal to fund the federal government.

According to Anna Eberly, managing director of the farm, NPS sent law enforcement agents to the park on Tuesday evening to remove staff and volunteers from the property.

“You do have to wonder about the wisdom of an organization that would use staff they don’t have the money to pay to evict visitors from a park site that operates without costing them any money,” she said.

“We could run our entire athletics program and conduct events as we always do without any government funds,” Gladchuk said. “In talking to the Air Force athletic director, their football team could execute the trip without government funding.”

Asked why the Department of Defense was suspending intercollegiate athletic contests if government funds are not required, Gladchuk said he was told it was about “optics.”

“It’s a perception thing. Apparently it doesn’t resonate with all the other government agencies that have been shut down,” Gladchuk said.
