Video: Republican Senator Calls Kathleen Sebelius “The Laughingstock of America”

On ABC’s “This Week”, Sunday morning, Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) and Senator Joe Manchin (D-W VA) were on to talk about the the problems plaguing the ObamaCare enrollment website. While Manchin tried to smooth over HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius’ serious failures,  John Barrassowas brutally frank, saying,  Sebelius is the “laughingstock of America” after being lampooned on “Saturday Night Live.”

Via The Hill:

“She’s lost considerable credibility,” Barrasso said of Sebelius. “She’s the laughingstock of America.”Sebelius has experienced a wave of scrutiny since HealthCare.gov debuted with major problems on Oct. 1.

She has also drawn fire for certain public comments, like saying she did not know how many people had enrolled under ObamaCare during an interview with Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart.

Sebelius also said last week that she “does not work” for people calling for her resignation.

Kathleen Sebelius denied a Kansas radio station, WIBW NewsNow, a radio interview about ObamaCrash. Instead, she recorded a message for the Sunflower State.

When asked about the nature of the requested interview,  WIBW NewsNow explained to a staffer that we wanted a response from Secretary Sebelius to the call from Kansas Sen. Pat Roberts for her resignation.

There was no reaction to the call for resignation. However,  in her message Sebelius said, “For the past three and a half years the opponents of the Affordable Care Act have made a number of misstatements and over the top predictions about this historic new law. And the predictions had one thing in common. They didn’t come true.  And yet, even as these predictions have been so wrong, the attacks continue today.”

Video: SNL Mocks Sebelius and ObamaCrash

A surprisingly funny SNL skit about the disastrous launch of the ObamaCare website portal healthcare.gov. I haven’t watched the show regularly for at least a decade, and gave up on them entirely when they couldn’t find anything about this thin skinned, narcissistic, serial vacation-taking golfer we have in the White House that was mock-worthy.

Given the epic failure of the ObamaCare launch, it’s difficult to see how a comedy show that satirizes current events could avoid mocking it – but they did a pretty decent job of it:

Jeanine Pirro to Obama: Don’t Treat Me Any Different (than Your Friends)…..’Give Me a Damn Waiver!”

Another excellent tongue lashing from the inimitable Judge Jeanine directed at our hapless, Community Organizing president.

Watch and enjoy:

Pirro had on retired Air Force pilot and American hero, Scott O’Grady to discuss the Regime’s recent decision to strip the words “so help me God” from the cadets’ honor oath.

Your Sunday Hymn: I Still haven’t found what I’m looking for

“I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”, a single from U2’s 1987 album The Joshua Tree describes spiritual yearning and is considered by music critics to be one of the greatest tracks in musical history.

U@ band members appeared In late September, 1987 with Bell’s choir in Greater Calvary Baptist Church in Harlem for a rehearsal before their performance together a few days later at U2’s Madison Square Garden concert.

The Edge’s guitar was the only instrument that U2 brought to the church although Mullen borrowed a conga drum. The rehearsal was done with the church’s audio system and footage was used in the Rattle and Hum motion picture.

The Virginia Gospel Choir recorded the song at the  Ramor Theatre in Virginia, May 16th 2009:
