Video: Obama Runs Back Into White House After Refusing To Take Questions After Amnesty Speech

Daily Caller reporter Neil Munro suspected Obama wouldn’t take any questions following his statement about bypassing of Congress to grant amnesty to over 800,000 illegals, so he decided to question Obama before he had finished talking.

At The Daily Caller, Munro reported:

Obama justified his immigration decision by saying it is supported by business lobbies.

The president has often used this no-questions strategy when making important or poll-boosting announcements.

It allows him to deliver his message to his target audience, uncluttered by awkward questions. He speaks smoothly and finishes very rapidly, leaving assertive reporters few chances to ask a question before he reaches the refuge of the Oval Office door.Sometimes, the president does answer shouted questions. At the end of a March 23 Rose garden event, for example, he answered a shouted question about Trayvon Martin, a Florida youth killed in February.

On Friday The Daily Caller asked a question as his speech appeared to be ending.

The president rebuked the TheDC, but then he declined to answer any other questions when he finished his carefully crafted statement.

He declined to answer TheDC’s shouted question about the impact of his new policy on American workers. He also failed to answer another reporter’s question.

In previous administrations, some reporters used the tactic very effectively. ABC’s Sam Donaldson, for example, was famous for his shouted questions to President George H.W. Bush.

TheDC’s shouted question was described as a heckle by some established outlets.

 

Munro is the Daily Caller reporterwho inspired this outburst from Eric Holder, earlier this year:

“You guys need to — you need to stop this. It’s not an organic thing that’s just happening. You guys are behind it.”

Holder then walked offstage without answering TheDC’s request for comment about calls for his resignation.

  3. I am a permanent resident of the US. I cannot vote. If hussein the commie wannabe wants to give illegal, ready to be deported Mexicans, the right to vote, which he will, where the hell is my right to vote? I am a business owner and an employer. I will fight for a right to vote, and believe me, they do not want permanent residents to vote. We mostly come from socialist countries and know exactly where the US is heading if left to these marxists. I would bet that us permanent residents outnumber the deportation ready mexicans. By a large number. I don’t have the time or skills needed to do this, maybe someone could set up and organize for a fight to let permanent residents vote, to counter this congress end run.

    Obama is a traitor for pandering to these people for the latino-racist vote.

    There are, depending who one believes, between twelve and twenty-five million criminal aliens in this country.

    I wonder if there’s any sort of connection between the two numbers, especially considering one can’t walk onto a construction site, into a “superstore” or into a manufacturing plant still operating today without being flooded with spanish-speaking people? And that doesn’t even begin to count the Asians here illegally, or the Hezbollah sneaking across the southern border…
