Keep America Safe will focus on issues like troop levels, missile defense, detainees, and interrogation, according to Liz Cheney, who is heading the group along with Weekly Standard editor William Kristol and Debra Burlingame, the hawkish sister of an American Airlines pilot killed in the September 11 attacksā¦
āThe Left has dozens of organizations and tens of millions of dollars dedicated to undercutting the war on terror,ā said Kristol, a seasoned partisan warrior. āThe good guys need some help too.ā
The groupās mechanics are largely a product of former campaign aides to Senator John McCain: Michael Goldfarb, now a Weekly Standard blogger, is an adviser to the group; its executive director is McCain war room chief Aaron Harison, and the video was produced by Justin Germany, the McCain aide who produced a campaign video titled, āThe One,ā which mocked Obama as a messianic figure.

Liz Cheney has been on quite a roll, this year, I do hope she has political ambitions.

Worrying about the use of material from Fox is silly. Even lefty organizations like The Pew Research Center concluded that Fox has the most balanced news organization on cable. More telling, their viewership is skyrocketing while MSNBC and CNN is sinking. The only people who complain about Fox are lefties who think MSNBC is a centerist organization. They are beyond hope.
Everything that was put in that commercial is accurate. Obama was for missle defense before he was against it. He called the war in Afghanistan crucial before he decided to dither. He will say anything to pander for votes and adulation and avoid making tough, controversial decisions at all costs lest he put his Nobel in jeopardy.
