Video: Rep Andre Carson Thinks American Schools Should Be Modeled after Madrassas

In a speech at the ICNA-MAS convention, last May,  Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN) actually told those in attendance that America’s schools should be modeled after madrassas (Islamic schools).

Walid Shoebat notes:

Incidentally, the ICNA (Islamic Circle of North America) was identified in a 1991 Muslim Brotherhood document as one of 29 ‘like minded’ organizations. The goal of these organizations? According to the document itself:

“…their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands … so that … God’s religion [Islam] is made victorious over all other religions.”

MAS (Muslim American Society) was formed in 1992, one year after the date of the document, which might explain why they weren’t one of the 29. Bolstering that case further is the fact that MAS has identified two groups who are on the list of the notorious 29 – Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) as being like-minded.

Wonderful…the comments come 6:00 minutes in:

Not just no, but HELL NO to that.

Back in 2008, Michelle Malkin reported on the disturbing influence sharia was already having in our nation’s schools:

Sharia in the schools: Monitoring the American madrassa:

Katharine Kersten’s excellent investigative work on the Minnesota taxpayer-funded Islamic school, TIZA, has led to a state probe of the institution. It has also shed light again on the spread of sharia in U.S. secondary public schools.

You’ll remember the heated battle in San Diego over Muslim prayers in a public charter school.

You may recall the jihadi crossword puzzle discovered by parents in Johnston County, NC.

In Contra Costa (CA) County, school officials allowed Islam indoctrination lessons that subjected public school students to prayer recitation sessions and Muslim re-naming.

The Congressman from Indiana would like to see more of these outrages.

The name Andre Carson should ring a bell to tea party conservatives because he has repeatedly engaged in spurious and inflammatory attacks against the tea party.

At a town hall in Miami on August 22, 2011, during the August recess in which members of the Congressional Black Caucus traveled to five cities in what amounted to a “Spread Racial Division Tour”, Carson accused Tea Party-friendly members of Congress of wanting to bring back Jim Crow and went so far to accuse his colleagues of wanting to bring back lynching: Some of themwould love to see you and mehanging on a tree.”

And, as Big Journalism’s Larry O’Conner noted, Andre Carson is also the man who told the mother of all race-baiting lies against the Tea Party:
That racial slurs were screamed “fifteen times”at he and Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) in Washington DC on the day before the ObamaCare vote in 2010.The headlines at the time (as well as Topic #1 on cable news and Sunday talk shows) was “Racist Tea Party Yells ‘N-Word’ at Civil Rights Icon John Lewis”. Andre Carson’s name was hardly mentioned in any of the stories. But a Big Government investigation revealed that it was he, in fact, who gathered Capitol Hill reporters around himself on March 20, 2010 and breathlessly told them what had happened “outside of Cannon (Congressional Office Building)” just moments before. (audio courtesy Kerry Pickett, Washington Times)
By now you know the story become part of Democratic Party lore showing up in talking points as recently as just last week as Alan Colmes mangled the “facts” but still was able to perpetuate the lie on Fox News’ “O’Reilly Factor”. You should also know by now that Andrew Breitbart offered a $100, 000 reward for anyone who can produce video proof o the supposed racial hatred. The only videos uncovered were found by the Big Government staff. They show the exact moment Carson described, “down the steps of Cannon”, from four different angles. Not only were there no slurs heard on any of the videos, but the scene is not at all how Carson described it to Capitol Hill reporters.
It’s almost like he lies about his enemies in order to defeat them. I wonder if there’s an Islamic word for that.

  1. Lets’s try to be more like the most ignorant and bitter people on Earth (!)

Get out of here with that, freaking idiot.

And move somewhere else while you’re at it, this country doesn’t work that way

  2. Carson is my local rep. Like all the leftists, he has the local media on his side, and blacks here follow him without logical though whatsoever, just as they did with his grandmother. Neither of them can claim to have done a single thing of any worth for this state that wasn’t drenched in taxpayer redistribution money. I wneto to a local tea party meeting and stood up and talked about doing something about working to defeat him but nobody seemed interested. He is the sort that is good at sneaking under the radar, only to pop up when pelosi etc. asks him to vote for the party.

After all of the tea party slanders the fool has spewed?
Unbelievable. You must live in a pretty blue district. I can relate.- my Congressman is Emmanuel Cleaver.

  4. Like our local conservative radio host said this morning on his show to be elected to the 7th District in Indiana you must be a) a Democrat, b) black and for now c) have the last name Carson. His aunt was a hero to everyone in Indianapolis looking for a Federal handout. They will continue to vote for him for that reason and likely remain in office.

Living here in Indy I feel I have no representation–but there again I don’t think I have a president, either…

  5. Congress: Angels fear to tread where fools rush in, and the list of fools in Congress is amazingly long, starting with the leadership of both houses of Congress, both parties.

And Carson may not be the biggest fool in Congress (remember, such luminarious fools as Pelousy, DWS, Grahamnesty and Maxine are still there), but he’s got a leg up on the village idiot, anyway.
