Video: The One Nation Rally In A Nutshell

Thanks to Americans For Prosperity.

You know… attendees tweeted all afternoon, hey, look at us! This is what diversity looks like, this is what America looks like.

You know what? No, that is not what America looks like.

I don’t care what Newsweak says, we are not “all Socialists, now”. As Kyle-Anne Shiver says in, The Other America Marches on Washington:

Yes, folks, there are two Americas: the authentic America of community builders and the other America, made up of socialist group-thinkers, moochers, and no-accounts, many of them living off government grants or welfare checks.

By the way, Republican candidates who are running against  Democrats who endorsed this mess should let the voters in their districts know just who  their opponents are allied with:

The Examiner: One Nation Rally was a big flop

The October 2, 2010, One Nation Rally, held at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, in Washington, D.C., can be summed up in three words: complain, complain, complain. The rally appeared more like a contest, to see which special interest group can outdo the other as the biggest victim of society.

The One Nation Rally, had sparse crowds, empty seats in the front of the podium, and people roaming around that held little interest in the speakers. In fact, several speakers attempted to provoke the audience to chant a slogan, only to fail in embarrassment. Even the great orator, Jesse Jackson, failed to whip the crowd up to chant his famous: “Keep Hope Alive” slogan.

On the sidelines you found small groups of people yelling in bull horns and passing out leaflets. Participants only cared about getting their groups message out to passerby, even if it overshadowed the main event. It was a poor public image that showed self-interest was more important than the national interest.

For a rally that promised it would unite Progressive groups, as one, united front for change, the event was more of a disorganized, dud, filled with despair.

Today was the day that an assortment of Left-wing groups, labor unions, Democrats and the NAACCP rallied on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial to “counter” the genuine grassroots Tea Party movement.

Basically, it was a Grievance Fest of different Leftist organizations for this cause or that cause. It was also an opportunity to bash the “teabaggers” (that homosexual slur was on a lot of signs), as well as promote Communism and socialism. In other words, the most extreme element of the Left, far removed from the American mainstream.
