I’ll have an after action report, with pix, tomorrow afternoon.
UPDATE:
When I arrived at the Uptown I had flashbacks of the SRLC, in New Orleans, last April, where anarchists gathered outside the Marriott to protest the Republicans. These guys weren’t anarchists, though…probably union … possibly paid for. I should have asked. Their Hey-hey, ho-ho Roy Blunt has got to go chant was beyond lame.
Jacob Turk started off the night, giving a solid speech. I didn’t videotape all of the speeches, but managed to catch some of Turk’s, Vicky Hartzler’s, Roy Blunt’s, and Sam Graves’ speeches…The laugh of the night was Sam Graves’ sheepish admission that his October surprise was that the Kansas City Star had endorsed him. And I didn’t get that on tape, because I thought my camera was recording, but it was on standby, dangit.
The big news of the night came from Turk, who mentioned two private polls from the past few days that show him “either slightly ahead, or a little behind…”
I got to meet Stigall after the speeches, and he graciously posed for a picture with me:
I had Chris Kobach Sign his “Stop Voter Fraud poster for me.
The woman on the right is a recent convert to the Republican party.
In this episode of Commie Tunes, we see more evidence, (as if it were needed), of the transformation of the Democratic party into the Democratic Socialist party:
I’m still waiting for Republicans to start calling them what they are – Democrat Socialists, like I have for the last year and a half.
The American people, according the latest Rasmussen poll, are not down with the Socialism:
I knew this year was going to be bad, but judging from the latest early voting reports, it may exceed my worst fears. Be vigilant at the polls, people. Bring a camera to record any problems you run into.
Matthew Vadum reports that ACORN has risen from the ashes of the O’Keefe/Giles Sting videos firestorm, last Fall:
Like a zombie in a horror movie, ACORN is alive! Even worse, it’s still in the business of registering Mickey Mouse and dead people to vote—and the person running its get-out-the-vote operation is under indictment for felony voter registration fraud.
Project Vote, ACORN’s scandal-plagued voter registration and mobilization division, continues to operate out of ACORN’s Washington, D.C., headquarters.
Although ACORN closed many of its offices, Lewis has been working with a skeleton staff. Congressional investigators say she is consolidating power and hoarding assets. They estimate ACORN has $20 million in cash and that its affiliates hold another $10 million.
ACORN plans to resurface under a new name soon, according to John Atlas, author of Seeds of Change, a book sympathetic to ACORN. ACORN chapters in at least 13 states and the District of Columbia changed their names and obtained separate nonprofit status.
In related news, the Obama Administration is stonewalling Capital Research Center’s Freedom of Information Act request that seeks correspondence between HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan and ACORN. HUD FOIA requests must be answered within 45 days but our request has been pending for seven months.
Stonewalling is going to be Obama’s m/o for the next 4 years. In fact, the Treasury is already hiring FOIA officers with the specific job description ofWithholdingInformation About TARP from Taxpayers.
These cases underscore the need for voters to put secretaries of state into office who will protect election integrity from radical left-wing groups. I’ve said before we need candidates like Kris Kobach, running for secretary of state in Kansas on an anti-fraud, anti-corruption, anti-ACORN platform, in every state in the nation.
As if the threat of voter fraud wasn’t enough, there are also growing concerns about election fraud:
A Craven County voter says he had a near miss at the polls on Thursday when an electronic voting machine completed his straight-party ticket for the opposite of what he intended.
Sam Laughinghouse of New Bern said he pushed the button to vote Republican in all races, but the voting machine screen displayed a ballot with all Democrats checked. He cleared the screen and tried again with the same result, he said. Then he asked for and received help from election staff.
“They pushed it twice and the same thing happened,” Laughinghouse said. “That was four times in a row. The fifth time they pushed it and the Republicans came up and I voted
Voter Joyce Ferrara said when they went to vote for Republican Sharron Angle, her Democratic opponent, Sen. Harry Reid’s name was already checked.Ferrara said she wasn’t alone in her voting experience. She said her husband and several others voting at the same time all had the same thing happen.”Something’s not right,” Ferrara said. “One person that’s a fluke. Two, that’s strange. But several within a five minute period of time — that’s wrong.”
And Sharron Angle, who currently enjoys a 4 point edge in the latestRasmussen poll, sent out this alert to voters:
I have some very grave news for you. We are leading Harry Reid in the polls and meeting our early vote goals–and yet, Sharron Angle could still lose.
As Sharron Angle’s campaign attorney, I am sorry to report that the Democrats and their cronies are up to their same old tricks, of trying to manipulate the election in hopes of skewing the results in their favor.
Two days ago, the Democratic Secretary of State announced that voters can be provided “free food” at “voter turnout events.” Harry Reid has been offering free food and, according to other reports, some Democratic allies such as teachers’ unions are offering gift cards in return for a vote for Reid.
Before we were even able to document the reported infractions to report to the authorities, the Democrat Secretary of State slammed the door shut on preventing this behavior and issued a public statement permitting these ACORN-style tactics. THESE are the kinds of shenanigans that can turn this race.
As crazy as those allegations sound, it wouldn’t be the first time Democrats have stooped to such pathetic measures, in fact they’ve been doing it all month, as Gateway Pundit recently reported: Democrats Lure Voters to Polls With Free Food and Rides.
Here’s the latest… In South Dakota democrats are luring potential voters to the polls with free food and rides. The Argus Leader reported:
Democrats in South Dakota are holding three early-vote rallies on reservations this week that will feature “feeds” to attract potential voters.
That activity continues a long tradition of pairing food with voter rallies in areas of the state where Democrats garner as much as 95 percent of the vote.
Folks, it’s going to take a massive wave to overcome the fraud, this year. Every able body that can vote R, needs get out to the polls.

By “enemies”, Obama means you and me…and the majority of Americans who oppose illegal immigration.
Laura Ingrahamstarted off her show, this morning talking about this clip of Obama speaking to Latino voters, yesterday:
We are the “enemy” of Latinos? Are you kidding me?
This President has been pitting Americans against each other in ways we’ve never seen before, since the day he took office. He campaigned as a uniter, but has been nothing but divisive. And this sort of divisive talk in front of certain audiences ends up hurting him in the end, too, because every time Obama allows his mask to slip, a few more Americans see Obama for what he is, a radical community organizer/agitator not above using Alinsky tactics to retain power.
This clip starts off with an “ambush interview” with NPR villainess, Vivian Schiller, since she refuses to appear on Fox. She claims that Juan is guilty of series of infractions, which one can only imagine, constitutes offering opinions not held by NPR. Juan continues to bristle with indignation:
While I’ve never been a “fan” of Juan Williams, I’ve always appreciated his open mind, and inclination for civil debate. That’s because Juan is a liberal, not a leftist…and there’s a difference.
A “liberal” properly defined is someone in the middle of the political spectrum — an individual open-minded to different ideas and willing to consider all manner of solutions. That’s what Williams is. That’s why he’s willing to appear on Fox News regularly. And that’s why genuine leftists from Glenn Greenwald to Media Matters are throwing him under the bus. (Leftists hate genuine liberals even more than they hate conservatives.
I think we all owe Williams a debt of gratitude for putting the Corporation for Public Broadcsting (CPB) under intense public scrutiny. Republicans have tried to defund public broadcasting in the past, and have been unsuccessful, even when they were in the majority. But thanks to Juan, the public outcry over funding lefty propaganda may give Republicans the backbone they need to git-r-done.
