Obama: Pelosi Will Go Down In History As One Of The Finest Speakers In The United States Of America

Best Speaker, evah!

Mind you, Congress only has an approval rating of 20%, (and I think we all know who those 20% are). Moreover, Independents are stampeding away from Democrats—in eight days, the American people are expected to rebuke Pelosi’s  Dem- led 111th Congress by  booting 40-70+ of them out of office.

Yeah, she’s doing a bang-up job.

Obama made the statement at a DCCC fundraiser in Minneapolis on Saturday.

Roll Call reports:

Obama said that Pelosi “will go down in history as one of the finest speakers in the United States of America” but also gave DCCC Chairman Chris Van Hollen (Md.) credit for shouldering the burden of leading Democratic efforts to retain the House.

“Chris is working like a dog. I want to make sure everybody knows what a good job he’s doing.”

Like a good soldier, Pelosi stayed “on message” at the fundraiser, trotting out the WH’s favorite talking points while  introducing the President:

“Everything was going great and all of a sudden secret money from God knows where — because they won’t disclose it — is pouring in,” the California Democrat told about 100 donors at the fundraiser, according to a White House pool reporter in attendance.

*GROAN*

Truth be told, she will go down in history as one of the most profoundly dishonest, and  atrociously partisan, lefty hacks we’ve ever seen in the speakership.

Of course, Obama loves her.
